- A T1 entering the Kipling tailtracks as it was being taken out of service after completing it's westbound trip from Kennedy. Funny enough, I caught this on my way home from the Greenwood Yard Open House that took place earlier on the same day. The consist of this train is shown below:
(Kipling-bound) 5357-5356, 5290-5291, 5240-5241 (Kennedy-bound)

0:04 I've never seen the next train arrival displayed the "platform out of service" before..
Nice catch! And nice camera work too!
Thank you! 🫶
That's very cool but why is the coupler so tilted lol
🤷♀
Like definitely!! Last week I was very lucky! I saw how one train entered tail track at Kipling station and the other one exited the tail track from an opposite side! I wish I could be on that train heading to Kipling's tail track, but unfortunately it's not allowed for passengers (riders). By the way I am wondering: How operator exiting the train in tail track?
This was something I've been wondering to myself as well for some time! After parking their train in the tailtracks, the operator would exit through the emergency exit on the front ends of the unit and *with plenty of care and awareness of the third rail,* walk back to the stairs leading back to the platform.
