I don't know how things have panned out for you in the last six months, but what you say is typical of a guy who wants to believe in something because, well, it's what he wants. I just spent a week at a summer camp type thing for high schoolers and I got to know a girl from my group a little better. She was the one to always start conversations and asked me questions about what sports I play and stuff. I asked one of my closer female friends about her but she said she has had a boyfriend for two months. I don't know how things have panned out for you in the last six months, but what you say is typical of a guy who wants to believe in something because, well, it's what he wants.
"She asked me questions and congratulated me", girls like to appear nice and supportive because it's in their nature to do so.
"It seemed like she likes me", well that's because that's what we want to believe.
"She has had a boyfriend for two months", perhaps she's trying to get it out of her system or is in fact still in a relationship but wants "other options" just in case.

oftentimes, I am mistaken to be interested/ flirting with someone because of my enthusiasm to talk to them. I am one who is always thoughtful and can remember and notice things on people and around me (Im wired that way). This leads to a lot of misunderstanding to some men who think I am an easy prey, until I draw my boundaries subtly that I'm only a friend.

My ideal date??? 🤭 Watch a concert or probably go to a theme park ( not that i enjoy rides) but it's fun and it lessens the tension/ nervousness between the 2 of you. It helps you to act natural in front of your date which shows your true nature.

I have this coworker who most of my coworkers have spotted chemistry or something between us, someone actually said "when's the wedding", is it just worth going for the date or just asking flat out what she thinks of me.
They say not to directly ask about her feelings or confess your love to her. So you maybe don't come across as a freak, yet you proceed "factually". The chances of you getting hurt might be smaller, and the chances of her not having to go on the defensive might be bigger.
