Jeez, the way this announcer pronounces Ogimi's name drives me crazy. Even when I did college baseball announcing, we got a pronunciation guide for the opposing team. I'm pretty sure this guy got one for a World Cup Final.
soccer announcers always have a pronounciation guide i’m pretty sure. even in the 2019 world cup semi finals they kept pronouncing rapinoe’s name rah-pinoe with a high a thats not how you say it 😭
That back 4 of Klingenberg, Sauerbrunn, Johnson, Krieger were top quality. I was gutted that it wasn't England in the final, we would've given the US a tougher game I feel. An unlucky own goal put Japan into the final.
