It might be a good idea to start tool boxes for your kids for when they move out on their own. We did this with my son and daughter and they loved fixing things around our house and working on the cars.
Couldn't hear a word you were saying for the first minute, because I was so blown away by the gorgeous views from your windows!!!! Had to go back and listen again. And then one more time.
It looks like a win win buying opportunity. All that you mentioned. Time with your son, Abby and a new bike, items to sell, and items to give away! A great morning!
The time you spent with your son was worth it alone but seeing Abigail whizzing by on her new set of wheels was a smile and a half. Every adventure is just that and they all are interesting and love to be invited along ...I am also glad you took and even wore gloves and did not get as an acute and startling stash of stuff this time and I feel better about that ,,too. All you do is usually centered for all the right reasons and that is always priceless . Thank you for sharing and giving others a chance to now get something they otherwise may not have gotten .
Glad Abigail got a bike that she can ride. You and your son got to spend time together and there was some saleable items. Thank you for bringing us a long. 😍
Hello from Wisconsin. I believe the cap for the pump was in the blue tote in the corner. I've been watching you and your videos for a long time. Love them. ❤❤
I still have my make as you grow / go toolbox... 50+ years later still use as my inhome toolbox, got a bigger one in the garage! Good day in many ways!
This was fun to watch because it's just really relatable. This unit was probably used for fun-in-the-sun summer stuff in winter and winter storage in summer, until the usual rituals of this family changed and you found their summer stash.
Nice way to spend a summer day. Got some poolside accoutrements and maybe a bit of camping equipment. Looks like that bike is a perfect size for Abigail.
Your son is a mini -you. At the beginning when you were showing where the unit was your son was in frame and wow …. It was kind of crazy? Good unit finds for you ahead!!
I miss you all Alex! Seeing you , Melissa and the kids became a big part of my world and for some reason your channel has completely stopped showing up in my feed! This all got bad right before you moved into your new home and now your channels' never shown! Notifications never came, they were shut-off several times but not by me! I know it may seem trivial to some viewers but when you are alone 24/7 nearly 365, good people like Alex and his family are a blessing and a bright spot to have in your life, they are for me anyway! Take care everybody! Peace to all ....💜💙💜
I thik you did well. I bet you make more than $100 on the unit, plus you get a bug zapper, a bike for Abigail, and maybe a few more things for the house. Thanks for sharing your finds with us! With love from BanDana Gramma ♥
That was a fun video! You and your son were so serious! I expected at least a couple dad jokes🤣 Love to watch you and yours! Love the variety of content!
Even when it turns out that lockers like this don't have any spectacular treasures the mystery of the unknown when you first walk in there is quite intriguing!
It was hard to tell since you didn't show them that well but those wooden chairs could possibly be Adirondack, very common here around South Carolina beaches/lakes, depending on the quality and what you want to invest on refurbishing them they could be worth around 150 USD each if not more.
Fun finds! I saw a cheese grater in there....I totally need one😂 All kinds of fun stuff though and I always love watching you guys ❤️ A viewer from Wisconsin with a lot of zucchini to grate!
Hi Alex, I just found you show this past week and I love it. You have a beautiful family and your show is so interesting. You are such sweet people. May God bless you in everything you do.
👋👋I SO WANTED TO TELL YOU that the screw top lid for the swimming pool pump was in the blue container with the blow up stuff.!!! 😊 I have been enjoying watching for years. Thank you!!!!!
That bug zapper may be good for right outside of the pool house..I'm in love with those wooden chairs..another good find for the pool area..lol I'm seeing a theme around the pool area. 🤣
Makes me feel sad as they lost thier stuff and paid for the locker on top of it so double whammy for them , I guess parting stuff out is difficult and it is easier emotionally just to walk away .
I don't really understand why so many people have them nowadays. When I was a kid the only people I knew that had "lock ups" were dodgy (Arthur Daley from Minder) types. I guess it keeps the landfills a little emptier.
I have never bought a locker but have wanted to. Every time you do I start to get that notion to go get one! My husband says noooooo! Lol maybe some day.
Definately enjoyed this video the most out of your videos of recent date as the whole family was in it , enjoying watching a lot of family vacation and everyday life family vids here lately.
Wow - never realized how much Jason looks like you. Seeing him sitting beside you in the truck was like looking at a carbon copy. A fun video, but not as exciting as the last storage unit 😂
Do you think the owners might have taken out the stuff they wanted and left the rest so they didn't have to pay to trash the rest? Or at least to not deal with it? Always love your videos, thanks for taking us with!
I watch another channel thats buys and resells storage units they bid on. They also give clothing to charity, towles and linens to animal shelters! They did so well over a three year span, they bought a five bedroom, 3 bath, full basement, two car garage off profits! WOW, talk about being Blessed! Viewers also buy things via a online live auction they do, so many people love that! Like me! LOL Point is, they started small and worked their way up and make a killing! I hope you do well also, just keep gloves and GermX in your glovebox! Blessings, Fran
@@JeanStAubin-nl9uo Treasure hunting with Jebus. Him and his wife Amber are amazing. And he, (Jebus) is scared to death of a mouse! LOL Blessings, Fran Oh, and you're welcome, Miss Jean!
Yes, I have a set that I've had since my university days 20 odd years ago. It's Corningware, but I guess the design is french ware. I didn't realize it was pricey...
You gotta fill the pools and have a pool party C'mon - clean the stuff and FUN IT UP!!!! Just started doing this too, learning along the way. I have won 5 units at auction so far ... and every previous renter = incarcerated. Weird and sad, but interesting. Check jackets and pants pockets for cash.
Alex yet again your morals are top notch! Yes it would have been good to make money on the unit however you got a far better haul by having time with Jason and also getting Abagail a bike. And Jason was so very helpful. He just got on and helped his dad! A well spent day! Well done!
Alex my darling, I’m hooked on your videos. Sorry about the storage unit. At least Abigale got a bike. The fun is in the finding. How come we never see you guys in your pool. Summer is almost over. Well my love, take care and stay safe and beware of false prophets 🎈👍🕊🇺🇸🌹🌞😇❤️🍺🙏🌈
When you said, "well, hopefully not EVERY kind of blow-up thing you can imagine" I had to laugh. The dead-pan delivery was spot-on.
You caught that :)
@@CuriosityIncorporated lol!!
Lol, I almost fell off my chair when he said that ...
😂
bad enough stephen being there when you found the drugs

Such a smart idea!💞
Good idea.
I like this idea
I agree, I didn't think I'd need tools moving out because I was living in an apartment, but i most certainly did and good tools are expensive.
The gloves! Fantastic, I see you learned from the last one, lol.
You were paid in experience and time with your son. That's priceless.
Thanks for another great episode...
Thanks for bringing us along
Couldn't hear a word you were saying for the first minute, because I was so blown away by the gorgeous views from your windows!!!! Had to go back and listen again. And then one more time.
Nothing ventured nothing gained. I think you might break even. Abby's smile was worth a million!
Thanks for letting us tag along. A couple of interesting finds.

Fun little unit. I liked the chairs too.
I love how respectful and nice your kids are to you. They seem like really great kids!
Thanks for the mini adventure!!
Oh look, some chairs just like the ones you recently bought 😄
Maybe the tool box can be the start of an emergency kit for Stephen in his car
Like it when you and Jason go to storage lockers.
Greetings from England
Glad Abigail got a bike that she can ride. You and your son got to spend time together and there was some saleable items. Thank you for bringing us a long. 😍
So much fun! You inspire me Alex!
Definitely a great day, positive family memories to last a lifetime.
Hello from Wisconsin. I believe the cap for the pump was in the blue tote in the corner. I've been watching you and your videos for a long time. Love them. ❤❤
Jason is looking like your twin, Alexander!
The boys should be building their own tool box with all the tool opportunities you have to pick that stuff up!
Absolutely correct Iowa! I have mine and wouldn’t be without them! My oversight! 👍😃
I agree with all three of you!’
That's such a great idea!

That was a cool find any ways! Especially since you have a pool now! Very cool!
Wooden Adirondack chairs are really expensive here.
I enjoy it when you clean out storage lockers. One never knows what you will find. Enjoyed and thanks.
Never eases to amaze me what people pay good money to store
Yay Abigail! Nice bike!

Had fun watching!
Always interesting content in your vlogs...short n sweet...some neat stuff...bike looks good on Abigail! 💞
Enjoyed. Its fun to see what you get.

Good idea with the gloves.better safe than sorry.

That looked like a pretty good investment, for all the reasons you mentioned. I just enjoy watching you and the family do stuff!👍🏼
Jason looks just like his father, very handsome and nice kid.
A day of adventures with your son pretty cool creating memories
Nice video... this was fun...
Thanks for sharing ♥️
Alex , your children are growing up so fast.
It was hard to tell since you didn't show them that well but those wooden chairs could possibly be Adirondack, very common here around South Carolina beaches/lakes, depending on the quality and what you want to invest on refurbishing them they could be worth around 150 USD each if not more.
With a new paint job those chairs would look great near their pool and camper/changing room!
Gotta love taking chances on a storage unit! You just never know what you will find!
Fun finds! I saw a cheese grater in there....I totally need one😂 All kinds of fun stuff though and I always love watching you guys ❤️ A viewer from Wisconsin with a lot of zucchini to grate!
Abigail did score a nice bike! I hope the pools don't have any leaks in them. The bug zapper is worth about $75 - $100 if it works.
Hopefully you got some great finds and no drugs.
Hi Alex, I just found you show this past week and I love it. You have a beautiful family and your show is so interesting. You are such sweet people. May God bless you in everything you do.
The good thing is that the RUclips views well and truly make it a profitable venture.
Spending a day with your kids is fun, but for them it will be a valuable memory.
You seem less stressed Alex, is life sweeter? Lovin' the new adventures yet missing Zultar, the canoe light and how about a song soon...
I’m always prepared to pay for a bit of fun; it’s a treasure hunt and a bit of a thrill - we got some entertainment and Abigail a new bike🥰🙏🏼😘
Norco Screamer bike is from 2002 made in British Columbia. They make good bikes. Definitely a good find.
👋👋I SO WANTED TO TELL YOU that the screw top lid for the swimming pool pump was in the blue container with the blow up stuff.!!! 😊

Maybe I'm wrong, but the golf balls are for the pump as one part of the filtering system.

I hope you manage to make your money back . The time spent with Jason makes it all worth while . Keep Safe ❤Keep Well❤
Big, genuine grin on that girl's face. Definitely worth it.
French white corningware. Definitely worth keeping.
Bizarre that someone would even spend the money to store that stuff in a storage unit.

I’m guessing they would have tested out the pools right away at the old house because it didn’t already have a pool :)
