- This plat made me feel like joining a Suicide Squad by the end! :D
In this video I get the Platinum Trophy for Rocksteady's latest entry in the Arkham verse, Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League. The game's gotten a pretty strong backlash from many, but after going through hell for the platinum, I can say pretty confidently that the level of negativity is unjustified. But that ain't what you're here for. You're here to see me make my way through the grind that is this game's Endgame. Hope you enjoy my suffering :)

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is a 2024 action-adventure shooter game developed by Rocksteady Studios and published by Warner Bros. Games. Based on the DC Comics team Suicide Squad, it is a spin-off of the Batman: Arkham series, and a follow-up to Batman: Arkham Knight (2015). Set five years after the events of Arkham Knight, the game's storyline follows four supervillains-Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, Harley Quinn, and King Shark-who are assembled by Amanda Waller and sent to Metropolis to stop the alien invader Brainiac and kill the members of the Justice League who fell under his influence.

@@MrMadshepherd Same, they reference him pretty consistently in the game actually which almost makes it more disappointing. I always think a suicide squad roster is a waste if it doesn't at least have one of the fun Z listers like Polka dot man, or Clock King. It's always so engaging to see what they do with them and in this case it'd help the game a lot because it'd give both a more sympathetic member to the team while also, assuming they went with Polka dot man, gives a character who could actually, plausibly do something against the Justice League if he was being utilised right
@@rennythespaceguy7285 at the very least include him as the token “squad member who is only there to demonstrate the bomb blowing up” we didn’t even get that.
If you play the game, you can get almost every achievement without having to do anything too crazy or off the main trail. The longest part for me was grinding DS, BR and HQ to level 30. The level Batman Delivery Service on invasion level 5 with all boosts for Xp helped a lot. Managed to get all three to level 30 in about 3 and half hours. I love this game and I really hope Season 1 is a good banger, because it's probably all we are going to get.
Oh for sure. The game doesn't have you go too out of your way for the trophies, which is pretty cool. A lot of the pain on my end was just because I did it all way too quickly (wasn't worth it because the video ended up releasing like 3 weeks later anyway lol). I also hope that season 1's good. If they add DLC trophies then I'll probably make a follow up video going for those too
I do think we'll get at least the first 4 seasons though because they delaued the game by a year to mostly work on post launch content. Past season 4 is doubtful though
Can someone explain why Amanda Waller didn’t recruit people with actual super powers to send to fight brainiac/the justice league instead just some regulars and a big shark
Yeah, a fair question. I mean from what we know she doesn't have access to any super powered beings. The closest character we know fairly certainly that she has access to is Deathstroke and (spoilers if you care about those still) we know he's doing work for her behind the scenes from leaked voice lines. Also the big shark isn't actually just a big shark, he's a God lmao.

I’ve nearly got the platinum.
Just need to reach lv 50 and equip the tier 3 gear.
Which I don’t like the game enough to grind for until the rest of the characters are out and MAYBE the game will have gotten a little bit better.
Yeah I can't blame you. I really like the game and I found it to be super grindy at the end, so it's probably hellish if you don't like it
@@TommFoolery I really wanted to like it, I gave it every chance. I loved the Arkhamverse but this game with its live service and its repetitive gameplay loop just wasn’t the game I hoped it’d be. It turned out to be everything I was willing it not to be.
Great voice acting and decent graphics are all it has going for it. Everything else has been a huge let down compared to what we should expect from Rocksteady.

As far as I'm aware they didn't add any new trophies with Season 1 unfortunately, so I don't really have anything to cover.
To be fair, Waller didn't inject the bombs in this game. The squad injected them into each other.

I'm trying to get all achievements too. I need to get the squad to level 50 and I'm done. This grind is so fucking dumb and I don't know why I'm trying so hard.
Just take your time with it. Maybe come back in a couple weeks when the new season's started up so you have different content to play. I only grinded the way I did because I wanted to get this video out as soon as possible, but at this point it's worth waiting.
