That boot really is SO good. I finally lucked out and found the Dollarama paint sticks. They are so much fun! I never would have even looked at them if you hadn't shared about them, so thank you! My inner squirrel wants to stock up next time I'm in Canada. 🐿
At first I thought the boot picture was a photo. Ooo your sketchbooks are filling up with some amazing pictures. All the different art challenges are giving you a work out. I’d like to do some really big pictures next. The 100 people is indelibly in my memory 😅
Not me over here staying up waaaay past my bedtime watching YT when I saw this just uploaded 👀 and *had* to watch. We picked the same favorite piece! That combat boot is “too legit to quit” (see I took it back to the 90s for ya) and Sophie’s quilt, I mean it’s all so good! I love the HUGE portraits you made and that juicy oil pastel! As per usual, you blow me away with all you create in a month! How do ever squeeze in the time to watch a Seinfeld rerun?😂 And thanks so much for the shoutout🙏🥰
So much fun and inspiration! I loved seeing all the flowers and portraits and hangs 😃(My latest favorite medium is Neocolor IIs -- adding the water!!! -- which I became convinced to try during one of the hangs.)
I often forget that my parallel pen bleeds through and I am on the red cartridge... I can't wait to finish the cartridge and use a converter with my Platinum carbon ink! I am very bad at self portrait drawing, I should try to do it once a day, that is a great idea. Do you do this with a mirror or from a photo? Your Doc Martens shoe on Sophie's blanket is really good indeed, bravo! 🤩

I’m still working through the first cartridge on the parallel pen, but if you watch my art supply unboxing video you’ll see I was *blessed* with a whole bunch of goodies to refill it! (Teaser for you, haha!) For my self portraits I work from a mix of photos taking at the time I go to draw them, or from a little mirror. I don’t spend more than 5 minutes on them, so I’d say go for it if you’ve been thinking about it!
