Perfect ending. The only people who are disappointed with the ending are the ones who halfway through or after the first episode, decided that it wasn't a love story anymore and rather a Rick vs the CRM story. They played themselves and it's nobody's fault but their own. They also pretend not to comprehend that Richonne didn't take the whole CRM down just the elite 10% and then told the CRC what was happening. Just like they said they would.

I'm a simple man. I see Rick reunite with his family like in Season 1 and I'm satisfied.
Rick gave Beale the same murder eyes that Negan disliked so much.

I loved that Rick’s boots and hat featured in the final scene. That was pure OG TWD goodness. For me, Rick Grimes was always the heart and soul of TWD universe. And that ending was everything we’ve wanted since the bridge. ❤ What a series! It was fun watching it with you, Aisha.

When I tell you I had NO NAILS after watching this episode??? And a tear-soaked face! This series was ABSOLUTELY the best. It needs ALL the awards. They gave us everything we wanted. THEY ARE THE ONES THAT LIVE and TWD got this one right. They kept it about Richonne and their family and the love that drove them finally back together.

The series is simply beautiful. The purpose of it was to focus on Rick and Michonne's relationship and achieving together the difficulties that will arise in different media. Even if he could see that it was just their story that they achieved together since the original series. And The CRM was able to show more potential in various moments and circumstances that was which party could have members hidden in Alexandria to kill them. But it's very good that they just gave the details of what they did. And just allowing that this was closure for rick and michonne.❤❤👏👏😭😭

I loved your reaction. You absolutely right about a lot of folks complaining wanting it to be about other characters. Danai and Andy warned all fans it was Rick and Michonne love story that'd the focus and them getting home. Folks hurt their own feelings thinking a love story going to focus on other characters like some mad bc the Beale dude wasn't portrayed right. Umm he's not the main star so wtf would he be focused. Then I see a popular youtuber jack world talking about too much sex scene. In a love story 😂. Then it's some walking dead youtubers who can't be fans nc they talked so bad about RJ. a kid. It's one thing to give a reaction video but to dog out a kid character immature. Thanks for your honest review. So far yours the best and Genuine not fake.❤
I am so glad I don’t watch jacks channel bcuz he’s always dogging RJ, as for the the much sex, what did he expect it’s a freaking love story. These fanboys make me so sick.
The man hasn’t touched his wife despite having dreamt about her to cope and survive for years what did they expect !! they both had to quench their thirst PERIOD !!! They were about to embark on dangerous mission with the CRM
@kmags8065 exactly and on top that Rick got PTSD he has alot cope with. I'm glad rick and michonne got their happy ending. Considering the other characters daryl maggie and those who player with relay not watching that herd is the reason he had blow bridge to save them. Then on top that they all treated michonne differently after Rick left show. I was happy not see those other folks.
I know some people wanted a longer war with the CRM, but after watching it twice, I am 100% in board with this ending. They both lived and made it home to their children, which were my primary goals for this mini-series. Plus, if they want to extend the series, they can, because someone must address the 14 yr timeline for humanity. There is plenty of material for additional seasons or a spin-off.
I just knew they were gonna kill one of them off because we can never have nice things, but I'm so glad they both got to go home and see their kids 💜

I just wish they’d cut out the scene at the fence with Beale telling Rick he wanted to talk to him later, and reduce Beale’s slightly rambly monologue in the private briefing. That would have given us a couple of more minutes of reunion at the end.
I had the same thought that Terry O’Quinn probably had so much fun shooting the scene as a walker!
I think they wanted to show that he often goes out there alone which later gave Rick an idea to lie about his whereabouts to Throne.
His "monologue" adds to the already great story and lets us peak into the motivations and actions of the CRM and why it needs to change...
The series was everything! I do think the finale was a it rushed but with 6 episodes this was really ideal. As a Richonner, the past few weeks have made me incredibly happy. I'm sad this is over but I am so content!
I don’t think it was rushed. I think they telegraphed how it was going to end all through the series. They just didn’t waste time waging a big battle to satisfy the fans who wanted to see that.
I just loved it so much. I was so upset to see Rick hurt Michonne at the beginning, but he made up for his behavior in episode 5 and 6. I want to see more of these two. Michonne is just my favorite character ever of all time and want to her happy.

Loved the reaction ❤ You're so funny and insightful. A few things to note; the CRM is not done. The announcer confirmef that. Remember, Okofor said it's less than 10% of the military in the know and committing atrocities. Michonne had her Katana getting off the helicopter at the end. Rick punched the guy with his gauntlet hand. It reminded me of when he stabbed the sicko who tried to SA Carl. Carl is present throughout this series. I thought about what Carl said when Rick attacked Beale. He told Rick that he had the baddies in front of him, and he let them go, and they returned to cause destruction. To me, Rick was like hell no , you gotta go 😂
I loved your reactions throughout this series!! It was a joy to watch and experience with you. This is my favourite of all TWD series and spin-off. I'm a die hard fan of Richonne and will definitely be rewatching this series. I absolutely LOVED this. I LOVED that they got reunited with RJ & Judith. Rick got to finally meet RJ. and see Judith again.!! Wish we had a bit more interaction and dialogue with the kids before it ended but all in all I'm very satisfied with how it all came together and how this epic love story was told. Ep 4-6 were my favourite episodes. Michonne got her man back, Rick got the love of his life back and his beautiful family, the kids got their parents back. Everyone is happy. WIN! WIN! WIN!😍😍😍

If you look at that scene again and listen to the audio, Rick was wearing the FAKE hand when he killed that guy. I think they went to his quarters to pack the grenades and that's where he left the 'hand' and that's where Thorne went to look for him.

I am so happy. I cried so hard at the end. Im so glad that these character's that have been through so much got what they deserved. Like....my joy is on overload and 'the ones who live' as a miniseries is so good that I'll be rewatching throughout my life. This show has a lot of heart, love and care amongst the great writing, acting, production design...it is everything.
I do appreciate that they've only taken down a fraction of the CRM. Its more believable to me.

I LOVE how the show ended! I am ok with not having a season 2. It's amazing as is. So if Judith and RJ end up in a spin-off, I want RJ to get trained by Elijah and I want Judith and Laurent (from Daryl's show) to grow and fall in love!
That would be cool except between Rick's new training from the CRM and Michonne, RJ will be good regardless. Elijah would just be overdrive for him in skill.

and why are some people saying this was rushed?? THIS IS A LOVE STORY! none of that was rushed. maybe the CRM nonsense, but that's OK... I see what Gimple et al were up to... this is Rick & Michonne's story, and every moment of it was perfection. I really hope at some point there's a movie with EVERYone all together again, but I'm completely happy with this.

I'm very satisfied with this finale episode. I'm sure some won't be, but I'm good with it.
I really enjoyed the way the episode was edited...going back and forth between Rick/Michonne making their plans and then seeing them enact those plans at the CRM. I also loved the flashbacks to moments from the past seasons. Those are always fun to see but I really liked how it served to remind us and reinforce what these 2 are capable and what they've previously survived. Sh*t that let's face they shouldn't have.
I was completely horrified at hearing the Echelon plan. And the matter-of-fact way Beale went about explaining it. As though it were a forgone conclusion. It was cultive language and techniques for indoctrination. Asking Rick to reveal the worst thing he's done to save someone...and the closest person he's lost in all this. That's how cults break you down...getting you to reveal the thing you're most ashamed of or regret and then promising they're the ONLY thing that can help you eliminate that guilt or pain.
Speaking of...I knew Thorne was a delusional B. She was nothing more than an annoying plot point at the end of this episode. Her death was as significant as her "change of heart" was impactful during her final few moments. 🙄
I really appreciated hearing Rick reveal that he was angry about the time he's missed with Michonne and the kids. It's simple and very, VERY real. I liked that they took a few moments to have him voice that. 😢
Michonne finding and destroying that file from Jadis? Perfect! She was literally obliterating it the way she ripped it up. I felt that urgency and relief. But I was also screaming, "girl you need to burn some of it...eat some of it and flush some of it....just in case." 😳
I loved seeing Terry O'Quinn as a walker. That was amazing and a little surreal. I'm glad Michonne got to fight Thorne. I think she needed it. I completely understand why Rick left his prosthetic hand behind...but it was literally the ONLY decent thing that place gave him. 😡
It took me 2 viewings to realize Michonne did actually have her kitana at the end. I'm SO happy about that. She's not Michonne without it. And I'm thrilled we got to see the family reunited once and for all. I mean Judith was a toddler when Rick "died" and seeing his reaction when RJ asked if he was "the brave man" was priceless. 🥲
I know some may want a reunion between this group and the rest of TWD characters but THIS show was about answering the question that SO MANY VIEWERS/FANS have been asking for years...."what the hell happened to Rick and will Michonne ever find him?"

I don’t need to see another season with them unless it was just about them living a happy life and Rick doting on his pregnant wife! 😂 This ended the Richonne story in a very positive way, and that’s really all I wanted from the show!

Negan definitely was in contact with crm, thats why they showed him watch a helicopter. Beale said he has spies, embeds, taking from communites, people are a resource!

The boots, her katana, Carl’s hat…that’s reunion had me sobbing 😭 the CRM side of things felt a bit rushed, and I feel like Terry O’Quinn was criminally under utilized. I realize the CRM was more the big bad, or maybe even Jadis, but he still felt underutilized. I wish we had seen more characters from home, because y’all know Ezekiel (their official guardian after Daryl left) wouldn’t have left those kids running off alone. Jerry at the very least would have been with them. I was hoping to see Aaron too. But regardless, while not my favorite of the season/series, this episode was still really good.

I really loved this episode, and their alone time before they went on their mission. It had a lot suspense moments, but I wasn't worried. I had already convinced myself that they would not be killed. There were things that I did not like, but overall it was a great episode and an amazing series. One thing that I just could not get over though, was Rick taking off his prosthetic, that was very silly. He could have trashed it after the job was done.

Bye Beale bye Thorne and I don’t care what folks said she’s dead and if she’s not then she’s in prison bcuz she was part of the conspiracy. Rick meeting RJ had me crying at 2am in the morning 😂. And yes when I heard that voice I was like boy you’re only 8 how is your voice so deep 😂. I hope we get a second season I would watch a pregnant Michonne with Rick catering to her 24/7/365 make up for the crap AK put her through which I will never forgive or forget 😑. They still have the set. I belive they just thought this was sweeter. I would've loved a little bit more time on Rick introducing himself to RJ and reintrouducing himself to Judith.

My satisfaction with this episode was wholly dependent on a reunion with the children and it delivered. There's definitely huge holes in the story - like how they convinced the CRC what the CRM was planning and thereby justifying a mass murder of the military in order to save a city. I would love to see a season 2 if only to see Rick's adjustment to Alexandria, what it went through and what it became. The CRM spies that are embedded in bigger communities is a loose end that could be explored. Obviously, I'd love to see Rick and Daryl meet again, but I'm happy for now!
I agree Rick shouldve kept the hand.. it was too good.
I hope at the end of daryl s2 he'll come home and reunite with rick! bcs as long as daryl keeps going, this is not the last time we're seeing andrew
