Great video! Im in Australia and thinking of buying the oem quick shifter from a USA supplier (massive back orders for quickshifters here). Do you know if there might be any compatibility issues with an Australian delivered bike? Or should be pretty much the same?
The quickshifter for the R7 has a "push" switch which means it's pushed to go up gears. GP shift requires a "pull" switch as the shift rod is pulled down to go up gears. Cordona and FTecu offer a single QS unit that works both ways (QS only, no autoblip), Danos Performance has a unit that works either way but not both.
Are there 2 plugs? One for USB charger? One for the quickshifter? Or is there just 1?!?!?!
On that R7, is there 2 plugs behind the left-side fairings? One for the QS and another for accessories? Or is it just a single plug? Thanks

can you make the R7 gp shift, with yamaha‘s quickshifter installed? I‘ve heard it doesn’t work smh (im not a mechanican, i have no clue^^)
You can not because it is only one way.

@@ultra727I got the Danos Performance pull type qs. Will the install be the same? I can't find any videos and there were no instructions included.
Do you have to remove the fairing for install or is it possible to plug in the QS without removing the fairing?
You can do if without as long as you find the plugs. You might just want to take the fairing off

Just installed the quick shifter on my r7 but it won’t shift out of second gear to third gear. anyone have an idea what to do?
Have you activated it? There’s a video on how to activate it if you search it

no, you can only have down shift if the throttle is ride by wire, rather than throttle cable.
quickshifter is original Yamaha? is it bad for the bike?
OEM and no it’s made for the R7.
Do you know if you have to adjust (electronically) the QS when the bike is unrestricted?
