I built Warmoth HSH and I'm very glad that it turned out this way. It sounds great, I have a Lace sensor gold middle, PAF humbuckers. Thanks for the video. You inspire to serve God!

The most versatile guitar in my arsenal is a Lipe Virtuouso with dual humbuckers. I was fortunate enough to work with him on the build. I have no idea how he wired the selector switch, but those Amalfitano pickups do everything from snarl to jazz, and bell-like chime in the in between positions. One of the best sounding and playing guitars I have ever had the privilege of playing.

I use a Fender 72 reissue Telecaster Thinline. Modded with Reissue Wide Range pickups, 1 Meg Bourns pots, CRL selector switching a Swithcraft input jack.

I guess the last one because just makes sense, the telecaster and Les Paul could do something special as well

    I have 2 gretsch models G5422tg and G5420t.
Classic vibe 50’s tele and 60’s Jazzmaster.
Epiphone 59 les Paul with greeny mod.
I always decide what I’m taking, once I know what songs are planned for any given Sunday morning

For me the one of the most versatile guitars is the PRS Fiore. So many options and great tones in my opinion.
Thanks for your video and the comparison!

I like them all. I have owned several of them and must say that the HSS strat I had was the most usefull. Now I only have my Silversky wich is singelcoils only and looking to ad a second guitar. I'm torn between a Gibson standard les Paul or Fender HSS or PRS CE24. Tough choices!

They all sound good, well done. In my experience, guitar type is less important than pickup type and amp settings. Most worship bands tend to be a "crowd" and in order to be heard, you need a crisp, clear attack. High output pickups into a gained up rig will often get lost in the mix. Tele's and Gretsch's have a great-sounding attack, and work well (especially for guys that use gobs of reverb and delay). I have struggled to get a LP to "step out" like I needed (perhaps natural compression of 'buckers?) However, your LP sounded fantastic...will have to give mine another shot.

Lately, my FAV worship EG has been my Tele Hybrid, which came with 3 noiseless pickups, and a 5-way switch, with the two diagonal positions emulating a Strat. Also have used my PRS SE Custom 24, which has HB's, but also a push-pull tone knob that can go back and forth between SC and HB. Also have used my Gretsch 5420T. Use a POD GO board.

I agree. My only issue is no Vibrato Trem on my Tele.

The one that stays in tune is the best guitar.

So much for the guitars, there should have been more discussion about the effects you were using. Personally, I go with the Strat. The only effects I use are reverb, light tremelo, and sometimes a chorus pedal.

Here’s my 2 pennies for the best worship guitar… a guitar that stays in tune. Everything else can be tailored to taste.
