I ❤ Trig, he's my favourite character. He was so kind and gentle, yet funny at the same time. Roger Lloyd Pack was an absolutely brilliant actor, and he played Trigger really well.
Same, Roger once said when he first read the script of Trigger, he decided to add a slant that Trigger thinks he's the smart one and everyone else is a bit simple, and it really comes across in this episode :) Genius move.
How can the casting and acting have been this perfect for this show. All these characters are absolutely ingrained in the English culture, boycie, trigger, Denzel, uncle Albert, grandad, Slater, not to mention the main characters. they sometimes would only say a couple of lines, but they were so expertly crafted and portrayed that people in the uk think of them as mates. As actual blokes you might bump into down the pub, everyone knows them. It's crazy
Yeah although he’s stupid he’s actually immensely loyal like in the episode “little problems” he tries to stay with Del upstairs in the pub when the Driscoll brothers are after him and he also shakes his head to Del telling him not to gamble to high when he sees boycie has better cards than him in another episode. A great character.
Watched this many, many times and still I'm in stitches. The best British comedy ever. Timeless. Always gives me a good feeling factor smile. Something you cannot buy.
@@joejitsu034 National treasure... he's nothing short of a left wing activist mate, jetting all over the globe while telling us we shouldn't head away for a couple of weeks in the year. National treasure..? Bloody hypocrite more like!
Can you remember the episode, when "Trigger" told Del Boy, and Denzil that, the council depot was open 24 hours a day, but not at night ?. He also said that, "I don't know what The Beatles's manager has to do with anything".
I love Trigger to pieces, I'll never get tired of watching Trig, "hard on your left Dave!" Classic, and then when they see Denzil and Trigger in the wine warehouse, it's funny, when Del says "Hello Trig, what are you doing here?", and then Trig says "you said to meet us here at four!", bloody classic
Takes me back to my teenage years used to watch them every Saturday there would never be a comedy series funnier or well written like only fools &horses thank you for sharing my friend just subscribed
I remember when I first saw this I didn't mind how much older the actors looked because I'd already watched Batman Beyond growing up and seen Bruce Wayne as an old man 😅😅
You are witnessing one of nature's great phenomenon one that sadly over the years David Attenborough has ignored...It's called The Trotter Brothers trying to park a three wheeled van
Trig was a good friend to Del and Dave, he even put his car up to help Del's wager once. His main issue was that, well, he's as thick as a post and denser than a ton of lead.
I thought thay was well generous to offer two pints of bitter and a cheese roll. I think of pint would have done the trick since trigger cannot count properly.😂😂
The fact that Trig isn't deliberate aggravatong Del and Rodney but is just stupid makes this funnier. He didn't wait to tell them they couldn't park there after the whole palava to take the piss but still, for some reason, took so long to do so.🤣
Trigger's speech in this scene is by far the smartest thing Trigger have ever said in the entire series. To be honest, it is the only smart thing he has ever said in the entire series.
how good is this show.. i wish we never got old...
Matt Most of it.
I was so cool when this came out . Now i have to set fire to my ear and nose hair daily
@James Henderson Utter crap!
Yes mate
Love how trigger helps them park there only to tell them they can't.
Love how people like stating the bleedin' obvious...
Thank you for telling us the gag, Captain FUCKING OBVIOUS
U can't park there Dave
@Calamity James Yeah. And is it just me or is Trigger so cute in this clip? His expressions and deliveries just sell it.

My absolute favourite character on this show. Trigg is so funny even when he's not saying anything. BRILLIANT 😍😍😂
Yes he was...may he rest in eternal peace.
May he rest in peace 🙏

To turn out all those scripts on his own is just amazing
I would put in a word for Johnny speight aswell at this juncture.

Best of whole world. You legendry people. I love British comedy. Fantastic
‘What icy conditions?’ Gets me every time. 😂😂😂
I love how trigger waited for him to park and then tell him
Love how David Attenborough was famous then (from boycie's joke) and is still going strong. The man is a living legend.
He's the sort of guy who could do a documentary on paint drying, and make it sound interesting.
been famous since even way before that too
