I didn't want to let the Redanian troll down, so I painted the emblem for him, I never knew that he was a fucking master artisan and could draw it perfectly. Fucking caught me off guard haha
24:06 I always liked that geralt knew he could just talk to the trolls as soon as they was casual with him being there. I may sound weird but I do like it when some games let you just talk to the monsters and settle things without having to fight.
Me too! Hence, I've got an aversion to killing them, but now I desperately do need those damn troll livers, several of them for my oils....😢 It will be the "bad ones" in the mountains in Skellige I think, because most of the others I did spare. ( i hate killing game too, from wolves to bears. I do it, but it does make me sad- for a second.)
I never killed a troll that's willing to talk. All the scenes with them are so entertaining. Trollololo is my favorite. "Boats watch boats!" Rog is a close second. "Stringymans. Blegh." I even felt bad beating up the troll to win the Fists of Fury quest in Skellige.
I have a real soft spot for the trolls. Talking to them is both funny and adorable. I just don’t have a heart to kill them. Bart, Trollololo, Wham-A-Wham and Poldy were my favourite ones.
My character in Witcher 3 has very little regard for human life, however whenever I run into a troll I always do my best to avoid all violence and to make the troll happy
I can’t understand half of what they’re saying, why didn’t you use captions? It’s not like the trolls speak perfect English and their word order makes it even harder to understand without subtitles.
@@mardenhilltrue, but geralt is 98 years old in witcher 3, so if he became a witcher by the age of 20 (no exact data on this), then he was talking with trolls for 78 years at this point.. 😅
22:20 geralt always looks like he regrets asking trolls what they're cooking and this has to be his strongest reaction. revolting. and idk what's funnier, comparing elves to tomatoes or talking ghouls to a singing cucumber
See I think the trolls are actually very intelligent I just think communication is hampered by the fact they have perspective thats wildly different to any humans they cant use grammar to save their lives and are motivated by whatever interesting thing they last saw/ rocks/ food. plus the strongest logic but troll logic.
I found it hilarious that the troll drew the bird emblem better then Gerald yet the troll thought geralds was better then his own lol
By the way, what is worth noticing is the fact that Redania's coat of arms is almost the same as Poland's.
Trolls are like 2 year olds in mental capacity. So anything made by other people is automatically better.

i love the conversations with the trolls in the witcher game
Best part is when Geralt replies with Troll words like, "We understanded".
Me likes talky-talkies with trollses

14:48 “Trololololo” The Redenian army chose the right guy.
Fun fact: some of the songs that Trololololo sings are based on real Polish army songs.
They are such sweethearts.
If you think these guys are confusing to listen to now. Take a look at auto captions. It’ll change your life.
The trolls I could talk to made me resent the fact that there were trolls I couldn't talk to and had to kill.
actually the greatest accomplishment in the game is to not kill a single troll, then you receive the title of "friend of trolls".
@@mardenhill WHAT- 💔😭
I’m kinda glad they did that because Troll Liver is needed for four separate oils, getting those would be impossible without hostile Trolls.
“Big lords trolls be, like humanses.”
Trollololo is precious. 🥺❤️

For those curious, chorfun = fortune
How do I get Og, Pog and Rog their shoes?! 😭
You can shoot witch crossbow trolls who throw rock at you in Morhen and get diffrend dialog.

geralt doesn't have subtitles either, helps with the immersion.

"AYE, COOKING."
The witcher universe is truly dark if everyone except geralt who talks to a troll is mean to them. How could you be mean to these adorable guys?
Turdy Dump...

too bad you can't play as a troll witcher in the witcher game, my favorites together with geralt.
I wish this was recorded with subtitles XD
I understanded
