What Recession? Everything Keeps Going Up

Over the past 3 years, so many influential leaders have predicted a recession.
Even the Federal Reserve was feeling strongly that we would encounter a recession.
Instead what we have seen is steady hiring and steady consumer spending, both of which have helped the US experience impressive growth numbers.
The US has added 2.75 million jobs over the past 12 months.
The unemployment rate has been at or below 4% for 30 months, which is the
longest streak since the Vietnam war and Korean War .
