This is a really great overview. Well done. I see this guy, Peter Zeihan, all the time. He has good info but he's incredibly confident on topics that are really complex. Sure there are a lot of facts in his favor, but it's hard to predict such complex things. I've heard a lot about his theory on the Chinese Collapse. It makes a lot of sense but I always thought to myself - he seems to think it's a certainty, which can't be right. Overall, I think Peter Z is super pro-America and I think he exaggerates some of his points. He gives really good content and info, but it's not a full picture and not always a fair picture. This was a great video to help fill in some gaps. Great job and keep it up.

This is a weak presentation. First off, if you wanna critique #Zeihan you should look at the paradigm by which he sees the world. His arguments are rooted in geographical factors that lead nations to act in certain ways. In International Relations this would be a more “realist” view. To consider only a limited set of arguments regarding China is akin to seeing the trees but missing the forest! Secondly, without even considering demographics and economic factors, just take a step back and look at China’s political system vs USA. One is a communist, central planned economy. The other is anything but that. Since when have central planned economies ever outperformed capitalist societies? Never. China is no exception.

The ambitions of the citizens is excessively filtered by the CCP. A road to failure just like Russia.

The more the Chinese govt. tries to micro manage the economy the quicker the govt. will collapse.

Good ole america <sigh> where a 16 yo can drive a 3 ton pickup truck from day one. (madness in a small package) Back here in Norway, out of all new registered cars in 2023 82% were fully electric. Reason is a political initiative supporting electric driven vehicles. We have buses, lorries , trucks and even semi's doing the rounds. Locally at my workplace we have fully electric 16 ton forklifts and whatever else. Lets face it. Sooner rather than later we have to move away from fossil fuel as it doesnt regenerate as fast as we use it.

There's IS no perfect fuel to power any kind of vehicles that require any kind of natural resource that costs money. Expect to pay higher prices on owning any EV's (electric vehicles) besides Teslas. If it breaks down,you can't exactly fix its transmission by yourself. Its price tag is two,up to four times higher than conventional vehicles.
