This is EGGcellent. I have just bought this model and am looking forward to building it. Nice touch with the ejection handles. What type of wire did you use for them ?
Your always to hard on yourself fella it looks great. I am building a flanker egg plane atm they are super akward to work on at least you didn't have a 3 tone camouflage to do. 😢 please kill me so much masking.
I saw a similar built in an expo with a pilot in the cockpit. Did this kit come with a pilot or did the builder bought a after market cartoon figure to put in? Thanks
Looking good! Do you think you wanna build a Swedish plane? The Jas 39-gripen and j29 Tunnan are quite interesting planes and the kits are quite good aswell.
@@TheWaggishAmerican aaah the glorious J-21 Attacker aircraft.. Heller got a nice kit of it. Its old with raised panels but its the best one on the market at the moment.
If you enjoyed building the egg plane I would like to extend you an invitation to our group build this April. Charlie Mac and myself are hosting an eggplane group build (apr.1 - 30 ) .
can build any egg type plane , helicopter , or jet fighter. as long as it is made by hasegawa . keep an eye out for Charlie mac or my egg plane update around the first week of march . thanks for accepting the invite, this should be fun for all .
I don't remember which wash I used for is model, but here's how I do- if Flory, let it dry for a few hours, then dampen a cloth, ring it almost dry, and pull in the direction of airflow until desired effect. I usually try to pull Tamiya off before it completely sets- I've had a few bad experiences when letting it sit too long. The clay wash you can't really muddle as long as your not putting it on top of water based paints or paint that isn't totally set
Look how they masacared my boy.
?
I see what you did there...
Cute little bugger!
Haha, it looks like a baby F-14! KUTGW man!
Thanks!

Thanks. The wire was just some random wire I got a while ago from cutting open a charging cord. I just used the thickest one that came out.
Nice one thanks very much 👍🏻
I made a corssiar egg plane a few weeks ago it was cool seeing this pop up
It reminded me of baby c17 and friends🥲

I’ve been interested in taking a stab at some of the weird Swedish stuff. If I do, it’ll probably be that one that’s a twin boom pusher propeller

I’ll have to take a look. I saw an advert in a magazine for a short run kit in 48thb scale as well.
@@TheWaggishAmerican oh nice

How do you clean off the wash after it goes into the recesses ? Do you have to do it when its still wet with a cotton bud ?

I need some advice: brown or black panelliner for aircraft?
Depends on the color of the paint. I usually like brown, black on dark greens, and light gray on blue or black
@@TheWaggishAmerican thanks! Keep up the great work!
I’m getting 3 of them the F14 the F15 and the F4
Nice. I'd love to pick up some of the newer ones myself. I do have the Egg Plane Girls VW Bus waiting for some paints...
Not for me
