Welcome To Syberia everyone. This game is different from anything I've ever played before, and it was hard for me to put down. All of the episodes are up now, and should be sequential in a playlist for you. Feel free to binge watch, or save them for later. Thanks for the support. It makes me happy to know that I can share odd games like this with all of you and I know people will appreciate it. Enjoy.
@ChristoperOdd I'm curious if you're planning to play Syberia 4: The World Before? I really love your way to comment things, you're very diligent at that! And you also have good English and calm voice. :-)
This game had a profound effect on me before I even played it. I was young-used to playing fighting games and your typical NES and SNES games. I caught the last few seconds of a program talking about it, and for reasons I still don't understand felt compelled to play it. The stuff I saw wasn't the most interesting stuff in the game overall, and at the time, owning a PC was a pipe dream for me, but I never forgot about it. Years later, I saw the game for XBOX and bought one for my birthday just to play it. I loved it, and that's how it ended up as part of my very first and main username.;-;
I remember playing this as a kid and getting stuck on puzzles for hours. Now I almost know it by heart. Thanks for the nostalgia Chris! I'm really exited about watching this... oh well I didn't want to sleep tonight anyway. I played the german version of the game and I can't help but smile every time you say Vorarlberg or Herbert. It just sounds so cute to me. :D
This game holds a special place in my young gaming life, I have been subscribed to your channel for years and never realized you played this. Thanks Odd!
Are you replying to me? Or just replying in general to the video? I didn't say anything about Momo. I'm probably one of the *_least_* PC people you'll find on YT, lol. But I still like this game :-)
I'm huge fan of the myst series and came across this game many years ago. It's still a favorite for me and its great watching someone else go through the same journey.
Myself and my family have been play sense this game came out, we replay it and we love it. It has a special place in my heart when I remember my sister's crowed around my dad watching him play this game.
I loved this game as a kid, but I got stuck at the University. I eventually stopped playing. But recently, I found the disk and installed it on my computer. How interesting that this series comes out around the same time. Thank you, odd, for bringing me back to a good time.
Oh hey, thanks for making this walkthrough. I know the game by heart, it seems, and I still find something interesting in your videos. Plus I adore watching walkthroughs on the background, it relaxes me and helps to concentrate.
JESUS CHRIST ODD!!! I leave the room for 15 minutes, I come back and what do I see? You've uploaded a billion videos... Fantastic, it's not like I had planned something for today! XD
Great choice of a game Mr Odd. I really liked the intro your friend did and I am definitely looking forward to seeing you play this game. I loved the Syberia for its story and climate (even did an LP of it myself, although obviously much inferior to yours!) and the puzzles were fun too solve and their difficulty was well adjusted. For short games like this one it makes sense to post them all in one go or maybe over 2-3 days, so yeah, works for me! :)
There were 6 cogs... Large, Medium, Small, Tiny, a 4 prong one and one other etched into the table. Great intro, good start. Looking forward to the rest!
i was one of those people who actually started playing the game on my own then got so annoyed because I couldnt solve the puzzles and then got so annoyed by.. lets say some robots and NPCs afterwards that I just quit the game for good. Im glad that I can watch this LP and feel more relaxed as you mentioned.
I waited for a new part of a "return home" and decided to look up another letsplays. And when I found out that you played Syberia I was like AHHHHH~ xD Amazing game as well :3 and now I'll grab my tea and begin the journey ^^
You can definitely say that the puzzles were challenging. The clock puzzle in the sequel caused me to stop playing the game for 3 months, only to find I missed a simple mistake I made later on, truly a beautiful experience story wise though, looking foward to the second sequel.
I finished watching your entirety of your half life franchise videos and of course the portal franchise ones,I also saw your entirety of your Bioshock franchise videos, contrast, what you did of Portal:Prelude and some other ones I can't Remeber
ChristopherOdd Syberia 2 is even better. Great and strong story I've ever experienced. My definitely the most favorite game of all! It's just "wow". :) Have you ever considered doing Syberia 2 walkthrough too? This game made me having dreams of it when I was playing it (letting me enjoy in it even when I was sleeping). And it really do something with your mind and logic, after all like I've already said, it is my the most favorite games of all time. Fabulous!
Oh wow I can't remember the last time I played a game like this. When I saw this LP I was wondering how the game was since I never heard of it. These types of games tend to have incredibly plots and this game definitely seems like It has an amazing one.
My older brother used to have this on his xbox live when I was like five. I didn't understand it at all. I am watching this video to see what it's all about. I remember being stuck at a doorstep and giving up, or maybe going into a house. I am 15 now yall. I can't wait to understand this game. I definitely understood super smash brothers.
Yeah, I feel the same way. I hear him ending the video and I'm like "Aww, I have to wait till tomorrow." but then I remember that the next one is already up!
I just bought Syberia 3 and decided I had to go back and play the first two before the third one because I loved them so much. Unfortunately I lost the game code for the discs for the first game D: (I lost the discs as wel somewhere when I moved xD) so here I am. I will thoroughly enjoy this ride
Hey, some of us enjoyed the "video spam". Not all of us are subbed to like 100 people so it's good to see a big chunk of videos being released at once. I for one, am hoping you release another chunk of videos again sometime.
if you enjoyed this game you might also like the "black mirror" series. in my opinion it has a really amazing storyline, so if you are interested check it out, i really recommend it. haven't played syberia myself, but i'm for sure going to watch your playthrough.
I'd like to throw in my own recommendation for The Longest Journey, if you enjoy games like this. I just played The Longest Journey a couple months ago, and it was a very enjoyable adventure. Dreamfall is pretty good too.
If you like point and click adventure/mystery games you have to check out the Nancy drew games (arglefumph makes great let's plays) there is over 30 games ( and counting! next one should be out soon) and an active fan base. The agatha christie games are Ok too, but they are also a bit old and only 3 games in the series I think.
The way you pronounce "automaton" is going to drive me crazy throughout this entire series... lol (You say 'auto-maton' when it's really 'au-tom-a-ton'. The inn keeper said it right! :P)
I was just on GoG checking out games and well this game reminds me of the Longest Journey. Anyhow I don't really like to play adventure games all that much. but I enjoy watching them I suppose and I'm just bored I guess. You have a good voice, so we'll see how long I stick with this, but right now I'm intrigued.
Heya Chris!! I love your videos and I was wondering, I want to record some syberia game play and I was wondering, what recording software did you use to record this game?? If you don’t mind me asking?
Oh this is awsome game :). I played it long time ago but I must get back to it sometime :). Only one better than this is IMHO Last Jurney/Dreamfall series.
Welcome To Syberia everyone. This game is different from anything I've ever played before, and it was hard for me to put down. All of the episodes are up now, and should be sequential in a playlist for you. Feel free to binge watch, or save them for later.

Do Syberia 4: The World Before, please! I can't find any good English walkthrough.
@ChristoperOdd I'm curious if you're planning to play Syberia 4: The World Before? I really love your way to comment things, you're very diligent at that! And you also have good English and calm voice. :-)
Only recently played this, but it quickly became a point and click favorite of mine.
PC or console?
PC
to bad about 3 though
The story of this game is amazing.
My childhood!
This game had a profound effect on me before I even played it. I was young-used to playing fighting games and your typical NES and SNES games. SyberiaWinx Cool story, bro. Thx for sharing.
Who the fuck was talking in the beginning?
"Jordan", apparently.
This episode went live at 1:00 EST. The rest will be up at 1:30 EST.
If there wouldn't be such an introduction I would hardly continue watching!Very well done, this game or better this experience deserves it!
This game is SO good- the soundtrack, emotions, atmosphere-just brilliant.
17:07 "I'm gonna try to limit the backtracking. I don't know if that's gonna be a factor or not." Well, aren't you in for a surprise :D
omg i had soo deeep memory with this game like already 10 years ago??
I love that they involve you in the game to the point of making us run around the way we actually would in real life.
I got this because it was recommended for fans of The Longest Journey. Am impressed so far.
This game holds a special place in my young gaming life, I have been subscribed to your channel for years and never realized you played this. Thanks Odd!
LOVE the beginning voice intro! Seriously cool :)
Ohhhh! I played this game years ago. It's one of my favorite games. So I want to see how you played through it, Chris!
Are you replying to me? Or just replying in general to the video? I didn't say anything about Momo. I'm probably one of the *_least_* PC people you'll find on YT, lol. But I still like this game :-)
Christopher, thank you for the walkthroughs of Syberia and Syberia 2. They were incredibly helpful for getting back into the world of Kate Walker!
This is second only to "The Longest Journey" as my favorite game of all time.
How come I never heard of this game? I freaking love Art Nouveau.
Also, drinking cold Thai Tea while watching this feels so cool.
Lol, love your commentary. The part with the phone and being proud of yourself was hilarious.
I played the game (through?) when I hadn't learned english yet.
Can't recall how ... maybe just trial and error.
Dude this game ripped the heart out of my chest. The controls are quirky but the story is sooo good. I fell in love with OSCAR. Very quirky fella.
ommyy, i played this when i was 6 it brings me back, and when i hear the song it makes me cry for some reason. ya feel me
JESUS CHRIST ODD!!! I leave the room for 15 minutes, I come back and what do I see? You've uploaded a billion videos... Fantastic, it's not like I had planned something for today! XD
This is possibly the best structured walkthrough I've seen, and it definitely inspired me to go get the game on G.O.G. ! Thanks Christopher :-)
Great intro and first episode! Looking forward to watching through all this later when I have the time!
This is great! I never finished the 2nd game and was too lazy to play the first part again to get up to speed again. Now I can watch you play it.
OMG, i remember when i was really young and my dad used to play this game and he always invited me to watch and help him
There were 6 cogs... Large, Medium, Small, Tiny, a 4 prong one and one other etched into the table. Great intro, good start. Looking forward to the rest!
10 years later, but at last, it's time for me to watch this playthrough :)
27:38 This made my day! Proves I'm not the only one thinking there were only five cog drawings when first saw them.
Momo is clearly a genius!
I hope you'll play through the sequel and another game by the same company called "Still Life".
Amerzone, Syberia 1 and 2, and The Longest Journey... some of the best adventure games ever.
i was one of those people who actually started playing the game on my own then got so annoyed because I couldnt solve the puzzles and then got so annoyed by.. lets say some robots and NPCs afterwards that I just quit the game for good. Im glad that I can watch this LP and feel more relaxed as you mentioned.
Nice touch with the introduction. Never heard of the game before, but if you couldn't stop playing it, I think it's worth checkin out.
I waited for a new part of a "return home" and decided to look up another letsplays. And when I found out that you played Syberia I was like AHHHHH~ xD
Amazing game as well :3 and now I'll grab my tea and begin the journey ^^

Same! And I completely agree!
i remember the days when ppl thought the protagonist was a lara croft rip off lol
I finished watching your entirety of your half life franchise videos and of course the portal franchise ones,I also saw your entirety of your Bioshock franchise videos, contrast, what you did of Portal:Prelude and some other ones I can't Remeber
One of my favorite games of all time!
This is without any doubt best intro ever!!
Awesome-sauce!! Now this brings back memories... [Feet up: Check.] [Popcorn: Check] [Full screen: Check]
ChristopherOdd Syberia 2 is even better. Great and strong story I've ever experienced. My definitely the most favorite game of all! It's just "wow". :)

Syberia 3 Coming soon. Whats funny is I played this game many times & never knew their was a hallway their.
This seems to have drawn heavy inspiration from _Tomb Raider_.
My childhood!
Someone needs to fucking drop kick Momo...
Great looking forward to this
Time to sit back and enjoy....
Wow this is a crazy start! those automatrons remind me of some Brothers Quay animations..
Oh wow I can't remember the last time I played a game like this. When I saw this LP I was wondering how the game was since I never heard of it. These types of games tend to have incredibly plots and this game definitely seems like It has an amazing one.
Now thats a "DAT INTRO"" for this game!
Whoa! Arguably the best quest ever made, a cult classic! Good job picking this game, Christopher! \m/
I thought it was a open world game not this
Yeah, I feel the same way. I hear him ending the video and I'm like "Aww, I have to wait till tomorrow." but then I remember that the next one is already up!
Oh i remember this game! It was so good...
I played Siberia I and II 7 years ago. Still love them. Wish they were released for PS4.
omg i had soo deeep memory with this game like already 10 years ago??
17:07 "I'm gonna try to limit the backtracking. I don't know if that's gonna be a factor or not." Well, aren't you in for a surprise :D
who is the person that made this beautiful introduction? Does he have a channel on RUclips?
That introdution is in the game actually.
No. An intro of a 2002 game that mentions the playthrough of "Christopher Odd" in 2013. Think about it.
what the hell are you talking about? you are just spamming other users with idotic irrelevant comments.
This is just Syberia's music with the guy (ChristopherOdd) talking over it.
@@symphony137 Nope, listen again. ;) Lovely intro anyhow by whoever that was!
I commend the fan who did the intro my hats of to you good sir.
I just bought Syberia 3 and decided I had to go back and play the first two before the third one because I loved them so much. Unfortunately I lost the game code for the discs for the first game D: (I lost the discs as wel somewhere when I moved xD) so here I am. I will thoroughly enjoy this ride

Please, Mr. Odd! Play Syberia 4! We need you to play it!
Finally with commentary.
Watching this in 2017😎
That is an excellent introduction.
Syberia 3 Coming soon. Whats funny is I played this game many times & never knew their was a hallway their.
Syberia 2 is even better. Great and strong story I've ever experienced. My definitely the most favorite game of all! It's just "wow". :)

Thanks Mr Odd!!
I don't know who did the voice in the beginning (Jordon or something?), but I really like your voice! ;) really relaxing.
Found this for $5 for Xbox today...snapped it up. Think that was a good move...
it was the game that gripped me, I was immersed in it, myst was another
I just finished this...very good storyline Got it on Amazon
Wow, this game is intriguing!
I'd like to throw in my own recommendation for The Longest Journey, if you enjoy games like this. I just played The Longest Journey a couple months ago, and it was a very enjoyable adventure. Dreamfall is pretty good too.
Brilliant love this game thank you for playing it :)
I like how you started this serie :) You should make a few videos of you just talking about stuff it'd be cool.
This game creeped me out a little as a kid
Whoever did the intro, your voice is smooth as silk.
Binge watching!!!!! yay.
I love this guys voice !!! Wondering if the game is worth buying tho
I second the guy recommending The Longest Journey.. of course after you´re done with Syberia 2 :D
Haha I catch on about half way through.
The way you pronounce "automaton" is going to drive me crazy throughout this entire series... lol
(You say 'auto-maton' when it's really 'au-tom-a-ton'. The inn keeper said it right! :P)
I've never heard of this game. I think this will be good though.
I was looking through some old discs tonight and realized I bought this game when it came out but never played it. :(
I was just on GoG checking out games and well this game reminds me of the Longest Journey. Anyhow I don't really like to play adventure games all that much. but I enjoy watching them I suppose and I'm just bored I guess.
You have a good voice, so we'll see how long I stick with this, but right now I'm intrigued.
4:16 Well, technically, they are robots-machines "capable of carrying out a complex series of actions automatically."
"No need to go down there."
Best intro!
Heya Chris!! I love your videos and I was wondering, I want to record some syberia game play and I was wondering, what recording software did you use to record this game?? If you don’t mind me asking?
I might also start playing this as well since it's also on the ds
Oh this is awsome game :). I played it long time ago but I must get back to it sometime :). Only one better than this is IMHO Last Jurney/Dreamfall series.
16:32 - Exactly what I was thinking myself :D
An interesting game! Nice intro too. ;)
A good game.
When the first game looks and runs better than the third..
Awesome intro. Got nerdchills from someone speaking like that :) Pumped for the rest of the game ;)
This video looks really smooth. How did you make it in 60p? Does this game even run in 60fps?
If you like the point and click style and puzzle genre you NEED to play the MYST series.
Oh yes, Syberia
