@@JPIQQG Not true at all, how often do you see defenders save with hands in champions league ? World cup or whatever final match ? It's pretty rare, don't make it like everyone does it.
And the red card + penalty isn't a fair compensation for a goal, because ... You can miss a penalty, that's just a problem with football where a hand save or a tiny fault far from the goal line are both penalized by a penalty while the second one was far from denying a goal.

He shouldn't even be hated in Ghana. Yes he used his hands, but he also received a red card and was removed from the game. Ghana missed the penalty. Penalty wasn't even saved, it was flat out missed. So if anyone is hated in Ghana, its the penalty taker.
The sanction wasn't enough. A hand save should give you more than a penalty, a penalty isn't a goal. And for the red card well you don't have anything to loose in extra time if it's already a draw

Once Ghana learnt South Korea beat Portugal and that they are not in a position to win the game with a two goal deficit, they still did their best not to further concede a goal to prevent Uruguay from progressing to the top 16 (South Korea ended up progressing on goal scored given the same goal difference).
As a football fan I simply don't have any hard feelings for Suarez. It was an apt response given the gravity of the moment. I understand the pain of African fans. But, to b a hero to someone u do become a villian to some other.
