California is my home state too although I'm much older than you. I love California deeply but I detest what Governors Brown, Sr/Jr, Davis, Schwarzenegger, and Newsom have done to the state. It was a carefree, vibrant, beautiful, open, growing, positive place to live but it rapidly declined after the late 60s. Governors Brown and Newsom have been the most destructive to the state. I wish you could have seen it when it was really open, free, and beautiful.

The petroleum industry always raises prices just before the summer. People drive more.
And prices started going up last summer, well before even the election. That’s why a lot of bogus crap online compares prices now to just before they started rising under Trump.
Gas prices went down to $2/gal because nobody was driving, while we were all staying home to avoid spreading and catching a highly contagious and deadly virus. So it's kind of an insane thing for the orange menace to brag about.

He is correct though - he led us to a place where covid shut down America resulting in lower gas prices. Under Biden, America is reopening so we have higher gas prices. While McDonnie does not understand much I think he may actually understand this but he knows his supporters don't so he can fuel the fire.
@@hudson5610 no. Gas prices went up because of the hacking of the fuel line, and only in certain places mostly on the East Coast, there has been no shortage otherwise unless people are panic buying. The increase on Memorial Weekend that Trump was referencing in his letter was about that. Gas prices where I live have stayed the same or have been cheaper from Trump to Biden, not increased
