I'm sorry y'all no hate but TV-MA's verse in this just doesn't work for me at all in this track. Feels like an entirely different song that's just haphazardly tacked on to the end without much thought. It doesn't seem like an outro verse, and it shifts the momentum of the song so suddenly it feels rather dissonant, and then the song just kind of ends. To me it is an afterthought, a rushed addition, and probably the most major misstep of this album. I can't help feeling disappointed like the verse could have been handled with more respect and utilized in a song that it fits better in. Just my two cents tho, still overall a good song.
totally agree, i've never heard TV-MA's music prior to this but defo wasn't a fan of that verse, the flow was off and it's completely different from the vibe of mello's verse. still, this track is a massive banger

Absolutely agree. Completely interrupts the flow of the song, lyrics are so thematically out of sync with Mello. The verse itself doesn't have any flow/good bars to back up the short king gangster theme.
Honestly if TV-MA reads these comments, best I can say is, I would genuinely love to year a version of this song that improves on these issues. I don't wanna beat down so hard on someone getting new exposure through Mello's work.

I mean it kinda is a different song lol, in the blog for this song Mello said he was inspired by a beastie boys song (can't remember the name) that was basically a combo of a bunch of half finished tracks, he did that here but to a much lesser extent, it's really only 3 parts,, 4 if you separate tv-ma's verse and the outro
