Those buildings nd streets are alive like nowhere else, and you simply have to visit to experience it. And as you say, you really need weeks to scratch the surface ❤

Great vlog! I love Liverpool too, the people make it. Thanks for another great video. It's been a few years since I've been in Liverpool, it's a great city. Like you both, I'm not a huge Beatles fan but I do love John Lennon. I definitely must visit his childhood home. Thanks again for sharing your travels 🙂👍🏴☠🏴☠🏴☠
My beautiful warm-hearted hometown! That was lovely, guys. The architecture is second to none. I often tell people to walk around looking up. So much beauty and history to marvel at. Scon. I was born and bred in Liverpool in Vale Rd behind Lennon's home. His bedroom overlooked where his Mum was killed at that junction. Left at 19. 60 now. Live outside Bristol. I have a fondness for nostalgia. I do enjoy watching strangers visit Liverpool. It is different because of the people. How many cities have strengthened their accent over the last 40 years because of an identity which is insular, proud, and rejects the National Program. When the football fans boo the national anthem they know the history of the real working class struggle, not the Woke version. At the end you walk towards my home. Made me cry. Subscribed. Peace.

Must have been a tiring day. Thanks for taking us along. Never cared for the Beatles much; first albums I bought as a teenager with my own money were Black Sabbath's War Pigs and Mothers of Invention debut album. @@romanypirates for park ups, there are 2 carparks on the bank of the Mersey overlooking the river at Otterspool. Both free and no restrictions; often people van camp there. You can even walk to the Albert Dock along the promenade (about 3 miles). There's a chippy at the top of the road, and Aldi, Asda & Lidl within a 5 minute drive. Sefton Park is about the same distance the other way along Aigburth Rd. and less than 10 minute drive from Lennon's house to give you an idea of roughly where it is. always scon, short O, in Liverpool. I was born in Everton and grew up in Bootle then went to NZ for forty years, now i'm back and love Liverpool. My english family live in Formby and Runcorn. You are a Lovely pair of Free Spirits, so refreshing. With more people had that ethos. What a difference it would are instead of all the awful aggression around. Bless you both. 🕊🕊
Lovely to see you enjoying our city, glad you enjoyed it ❤😊
Oh we loved it so much, it literally changed our views on cities just an amazing place and we’re definitely coming back 😃😃♥️ thanks so much for watching
Must have been a tiring day. Thanks for taking us along. Never cared for the Beatles much; first albums I bought as a teenager with my own money were Black Sabbath's War Pigs and Mothers of Invention debut album. Wish I still had them as they might be worth something to a collector! Stay well and Keep On Truckin [as the very old saying goes].
Reese loves Black Sabbath 😀😀 yeah it was tiring but definitely worth the effort it’s such an amazing place to explore. Shame you don’t still have them. Thanks so very much for watching ☺️☺️
GOOD SHOW,GREAT TIME

McCartney's childhood home was less than 5 minute drive from Lennons and Strawberry Fields was just around the corner.
Yeah we’re gonna go back and explore more of Liverpool so will definitely check out those thanks so much 😃👍👍👍
@@romanypirates for park ups, there are 2 carparks on the bank of the Mersey overlooking the river at Otterspool.
Google "Mersey Road L18" and the quieter carpark is at the bottom. Often have my lunch down so shout if you're in the area!
Loving your videos btw.

The song penny Lane was about the other end of the lane to where the dovedale pub was in your video 😊also Freddie Mercury actually lived in a room in that pub for a short time when he was a young man.
Oh really wow that’s interesting didn’t know that about Freddie. Shame I was at the wrong end though 😂

You can stealth camp outside the liver building. Free after 6pm till 8am, very quiet ive stayed a few times as i live there. ❤
Oh that’s great to know thank you ☺️ we will do that when we go back 😃👍👍👍👍
always scon, short O, in Liverpool. I was born in Everton and grew up in Bootle then went to NZ for forty years, now i'm back and love Liverpool. My english family live in Formby and Runcorn. While away i missed the victorian grandeur and industrial revolution iron work of the old bridges and railway stations, the ramshackle natural countryside with its narrow winding country lanes and stone walls...i could go on
Yeah get what you mean there’s just something about it that can’t be beaten isn’t there, I’m sure NZ was beautiful too though. Bet it’s strange been back after all those years. Anyway thanks so much for watching 😃😃👍👍👍
