The wireless keyboard stopped working a couple of times already. They opened multiple tickets about their password not being working. Turns out letter K and J just randomly stopped working. Have to pull the batteries out put them back in … Hardware acceleration needs to be disabled in chrome otherwise you could not use the computer at all for a single page browser tab. I would not called it a business friendly machine :)
I don’t have any personal experience with these Dell all in one models but I am not surprised that they have such longevity and reliability. I have spent many years working with the Lenovo equivalent all in one models and find they are also able to withstand some pretty harsh environments and still keep working.
I am still surprised that these can last just as long as the optiplex towers. Will review the 2024 optiplex all in one in a couple weeks, hope that they are good as these are.

Hello, You can’t upgrade the video card in these. I would not buy it for anything graphics related application, they are excellent for browsing and data entry, offline applications but that’s pretty much it. Even Autocad 2D requires a dedicated video cards with least 2GB of video memory, but recommends 8Gb, of course it depends on how complex projects are you running. You should have some dedicated graphics card.

I have always used basic PC for autocad 2d as a surveyor but it's been 6 years since I did it anymore. thanks. you were really kind
Kindly suggest. i have to choose between dell precision 5540 and dell precision 7720. which is better option. I work as data engineer.
I wound go with the 5540 especially if you need to carry the laptop to school/ work a lot.
