Great review! Just wanted to clarify that the rattle is NOT the battery. It's actually the magnet which is loose in the cap. This becomes apparent when you attach the flashlight to something metal then slowly remove it. They seem to be using a small neodymium in the cap that's not affixed. The battery is very snug between the spring in the head piece and tail cap unless your unit is somehow defective!
The lowest price I could find on this shipped to Canada was 38 CAD including shipping. That was yesterday. Today, the price jumped up by ten bucks. Darn you Jon! Seriously though, it's bad because I sorta wanted it but good because I really don't need it.
I’ll try that. I like the idea of using a protected battery in any case, given that I charge the battery in the flashlight and don’t always 100% trust these cheaper lights to not overcharge the battery.
just read on that amazon link a usb-c to usb-c charging cable will not recharge the light you would have to use a usb-a (rectangle/normal) to usb-c cable thats a little disappointing. this is a step in the right direction at a great price though! i usually recommend the wowtac a1s to everyone but this will be my next suggestion. i plan to get one anyways and switch it to group 2. i like a ramping ui great review!
Is this confirmed? I plugged my charger (c to c) into the flashlight and the red light came right on. Does this mean the flashlight isn't charging even with the red light on?
@@LiquidRetro ok perfect, yes the red light came on once I plugged my c to c cable into after I received it. I need to do a ramp check on my graveyard shift and I'm excited to try out this flashlight so I can do it without getting out of the car
What you thought was a milling problem with the tailcap is the design language of the flashlight. They are regularly spaced facets that echo the head. And I think you have it reversed: they milled all the way around and then machined the facets flat. Anyhow, it is a cool visual design thing. Otherwise, thank you for the review.
@@LiquidRetro Would the light accommodate a higher mAh battery (3600mAh?) If so then the extra size of the battery might fill in the gap and reduce rattle.
I'm a bit concerned about bais here if your both taking a promotion from wurkkos and at the same time offering a review. Can you shed some more light on that?
My reviews are unbiased and I tell it how I see it. My only revenue is RUclips and Amazon affiliate links. I do not do paid product endorsements. The FC11 is a fantastic all around light.
@@LiquidRetroYou are not reiterating that you received it for free from Wurkkos, right? I am not questioning your ethics as much as I am finding your answer to @macaramen1344 incomplete where completeness would help support the idea of your independence.
Hi dear thank you for video I have questions while I check the page on banggood Thera are many questions about battery is it include the box or not customer has answered not include . Could you explain it ?
I believe there is a newer model coming but it's not a direct replacement since the new one uses a larger battery. I can't remember if this blinks you battery voltage or not. Either way this is still a great choice for the money.

Best lockout ever. Way better than the "hold for 5 seconds" crap.

Not sure my original light is that way. I know there have been minor revisions since I did my review

Hopefully things will improve in the future
I'm using a slightly bigger 18650 3500mah protected battery and it has eliminated any rattle. Great budget EDC

Just mod and add 5.1k resistor to each of the two CC pins to ground and you're good to go.

No they have updated the light since my original review. It sounds like yours is charging

Nice, thorough, helpful review, thank you.
Would you still recommend this for someone looking to buy their first 18650 flashlight with a budget
Ya its a great light for a beginner or an enthusiast. Thanks for watching!
They are available in 3 different colour temperatures also 2700 and 4000k
Yes that's new since this review was published.
A couple of improvements and this might become a contender. That battery rattle would drive me crazy.
It's not very noticeable unless your trying in my nightly walks with the light. I suppose I would put another wrapper on or even some paper
@@LiquidRetro Would the light accommodate a higher mAh battery (3600mAh?) If so then the extra size of the battery might fill in the gap and reduce rattle.
Extra capacity should be the same size. The rattle is very minimal. You can always wrap it if needed

By promotion, @macaramen1344 do you Wurkkos sending him the light for free?
How far would you say this light can throw? Pitch dark and naked eye.
100 yards or so. Quite floody.
Can't go wrong with this
Many thanks describing tint and CRI
Your welcome, I'm glad you found it helpful
Good review. I really like mine. I thought the battery is unprotected though
It works with unprotected but mine was protected from Wurkkos
I think a olight s2/s2r/s20 pocket Clip might fit this light
It does
Thanks for the review
The magnet is very weak if you accidentally push it, it falls
Great review sir
I appreciate it, Thanks for watching

Trying to decide this light or sofirn sc 31 pro
Ur thoughts and recommendations?
Keep up the awesome work!
I have reviews on both, very similar. Both are good options. They have improved the FC11

I don't know about Banggood but it's included for Amazon purchases in the 🇺🇸.
We're did you buy this
Is there a new version out ? Or do you know a good flashlight like this with an battery level indicator ?

It's not available yet. Check wurkkos Facebook page.
the battery in your video is a button top unprotected
Nice budget torch to go with that very nice WE knives budget brand Civivi Elementum.
Anymore discount codes? One above doesn’t work.
Not currently ill have to check with the compwny
Very good video
Thanks Joe!
Hey dude, check you messages on Facebook
Green tint and high CRI don't go together.
My example wasn't green. High Cri isn't measured that way either. Sorry mate
