Thanks for the great review and purchase codes, for the price this is quite a deal, very flexible lighting options. To toggle between the emitters is a simple three clicks after the light is on. I thought the headband was quite nice, yes maybe thinner material but very secure, not too bouncy, and the rubber holder is nicely designed, having a thicker bottom, creating a shelf like cradle support. I think it will be a good bicycle helmet light, nice run time with both fill and throw.
Heh the light sits next to me and is indeed very good! I love the 5000k High CRI light it produces but it's a bit heavy as a headlamp and getting the light in the strap is kinda difficult. I also found that 3 short clicks also works for changing emitters and is slightly faster :) Great review!
I just ordered this, in orange i believe, excited formit to come, i do have a sofrin hs41 but its too throwy for my needs, im hoping the hd20 will work for me in flood only, your beam shot made it look like it would
At 8:30, you mentioned that the HD20 could double as bike riders headlamp. Funny you should mention that because that was one of the reasons that i purchased HD50, mainly to use as a headlamp. Suspect that HD20 could adequately fill in as #2 to Big Brother!-😅
In the manual 2 instructions are grouped together which confused you for changing leds. You said a hold, click, hold but no, it's just a click, hold or of course the 3 clicks
Thanks for your advice. I put the clip on mainly for recording the video to keep it oriented up during recording. You need to take it off to use with the head strap.
I've seen lots of bad review and comment on Nitecore products, their just doesnt seem to last long. I was hoping this Wurkkos brand could last longer. Anyone had bad experience with Nitecore?. Would Wurkkos be the better option?
Usually different price brackets. I personally haven't had any failures with either brand but have seen reports of some with Nitecore from time to time. A good retailer should have your back if you have issues.
Good review. What happens if you plug the headlamp into a usb-c pd port on a power bank? On my olight marauder 2 the olight ended up charging the power bank and left the torch drained. The blf lt1 works well connected to a usb-c pd power bank but I’m not sure if it’s set up to use as a power bank.
I have battery charger that charges li ion cells and is also a power bank. I can charge it with my power bank but I have to use an A to C cable. C to C one will charge the other.
I think you read the manual wrong, Cycle between leds is not "hold click + hold" but "click + hold" , I dont have the lamp so please try it for me before I buy it :-)
Just received a HD20 direct from Wurkkos. It shipped with an 18650 even though I specifically paid extra for a 21700. I tried one of my 21700’s and the light didn't work. Buyer beware!!!
Contact support and I'm sure they will get you sorted. Do remember it's Chinese New Year. It should work with a standard 21700, can't remember if you need a button top or not.
Update: Triple clicking when the light is on seems to change emitters much easier. Wurkkos needs to add this to the manual.

3 short clicks seems to work well. They need to add that to the manual.
Any headlamp that uses the rubber loops is like that but I find it easier than the some other brands where the loops are tighter

Do you think the power bank feature will power other small devices? Like a small 5.5 inch monitor, osee T5?
No idea what the power requirements are for that. If it's 5V and 1-2a it probably would but not for forever. A larger powerbank may be a better option
Why you don't say the exact time that the it stays on turbo, they told you do not say? And to what intensity it goes from turbo?
