In celebration of the 9th anniversary of the anime, I decided to sub the show with my friend Zedopp. We weren't too sure about some of the names, so they may not be entirely correct, but everything else should be fairly close to the original.

I like how Lucy can order a drone strike and Jody has access to a REMOTE LASER CANNON but their answer to Dark Million is “beat them in races”
Jody has a dominant male mindset who is hard but fair! And Tanaka is extreme mr nice guy who is too sneaky and selfish!
It’s a children’s anime… it’d be over in a matter of a couple episodes if they did it that way. 😂
Well hey, anime's an abstract reality, so it's always bound to have weird shit like that
I love how this episode turned out.
You'd expect it to be a generic "Jody or Lucy win the race thanks to all the girls working together and making amends and all is good" but it turns into absolute chaos.
Expected result Lucy wins to show up miss killer
Actual result race devolves into anarchy and doesn't even finish
Also Bart & black shadow had the best reactions
And it ended up being terrible.

Is anyone else impressed by the fact that Super Arrow pried open a metal, security door at 11:56? like how could the girls call him useless after that?
I think Mrs. Arrow forgot to tell them that he'd saved her in White Land last episode. But then again, Kate is the only who'd started the argument.
I am fucking dying they can’t keep their emotions in check. But Jody called a satellite beam like no one was in danger just calm as she could be. She really is relentless and cold 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Canon f zero races
This episode went from weird to totally batshit at breakneck pace. So we got Sailor moon Zoda, Kill crazy Lucy Liberty, and a giant spider droid blasting people off the track. I don't know what to think of this episode, it's a mind bender to be sure!
Moral of the story. Lucy is suppressing some serious psychological issues, never ever turn your back on her.

I like that the ladies have all this destructive technology available to them but they only whip it out to for this race 😅

Okay, that was, without a shadow of a doubt, the best episode yet.
WHY?! The Night Thunder can only be spotted at 14:28. Silver Neelsen is the pilot of the Night Thunder, yet he was never seen out of it. Therefore, Lap 14 is more superior.

Not to mention, Nintendo EAD developed most Mario games, and he has stars akin to Mario 64, so that solidifies it further.
I think the funniest bit was the fear on Black Shadow's face, making him think, "yeah, I'm not getting in the middle of that."

And nobody won. Crazy episode ever.
This is my favorite episode by far, because as soon as the girl fights start all rules go out the window and you don't expect it, plus it pokes fun at the ladies and keeps the men humble. Mrs. Arrow should have won though because she defended her man.

Black Shadow, said to be the conqueror of galaxies.....
But when it comes to getting himself in a middle of a catfight, conquering would wait.
Maybe Black Shadow didn't have the heart to be completely ruthless as a truly evil individual.
The whole "You have to show your valid ID card to enter a race" is like a plot-hole factory that just keeps churning out the holes, although I do recognize this episode turned rather hyberbolic on purpose, sacrificing realism for comedy, but there still remains the even more huge hole of Captain Falcon having a secret identity. You can't have secrets if your ID is in the rules.
well the fzero committee (the ones who host the races) have an "anyone can enter" rule. which is why criminals (dark million), unknowns (Falcon) and people who havent even used an fzero machine before (Ryu), can enter.
