- Day 2 of Planting Corn 2024! Starting my day walking almost a mile to get to the tractor, hopping in to start, cruising around water, planting in the strip, shifting seed around, moving bags around, changing hybrids, with a glance at the night life!

Hi Kel's awesome video again thanks. Now that's what you call a fridge then you open it and wow heaven 😊. Hi Kels, Great video as always, you should get some of those Clorox cleaning wipes in a tube I guess you call it those were great for cleaning hands and whatever disinfecting they were great I don’t like that orange stuff that much unless you have water to rinse it off too much grit but that stuff works good if you’re pretty greasy from working on equipment whatever you’re doing an awesome job👍!!

You’re welcome,Kels!! you’re doing a great job your dad must be proud of you👍 I will stay tuned. We finished planting about a week ago in northern Illinois. Maybe it was longer than that I don’t remember.😂 But clean up on the equipment is not the funniest part if that makes any sense back to hauling corn and spraying corn and spraying fence lines for weeds. That’s always a bummer. Gotta keep them in control.

Hope planting went well. I realize the videos are behind so I hope you got it all done before it started to rain a lot. I too use a measuring can to even up the boxes on my planter especially when nearing the end so I don’t open extra bags. Love your videos and your enthusiasm. Keep them coming

@@farmingwithkels5264 got all my crops in albeit a little later than usual. Should be able to start side dressing corn tomorrow afternoon. Most of the recent rains went around us. But you don’t have to go very far in any direction to find lakes in fields. This was my first year notilling beans. I did borrow a Salford unit to dry out the side hills and low spots so I could plant without plugging the gauge wheels on my planter, I did that before borrowing the Salford. I’m just afraid that we got all our rain up front and in this month sometime it’ll shutdown and turn hot and dry. Gods blessings on your year

Hi! Thanks lots! :) Our corn ground is a 30 inch :) Others have different spacing based on their location, equipment setup, and ground, but we do 30 inch corn and beans we do 15 inch!
