One thing I like to do with SMGs is to equip a secondary with the same ammo type and slap fully loaded on it so that I have plenty of ammo for my primary and I can run something other than scavenger without having to worry about running low and picking up another gun
I've used the 10mm conversion on the MP5 pretty much since launch, but that was a really persuasive argument for swapping it out and saving that attachment slot. Gonna give it a go!
Yeah swap the 10 out. I feel you actually fire slower and range was way last consistent. Larger clip is awesome especially of your accurate. Go the larger capacity clip.
I love the AKM a lot (in real life and in COD) but it is not as good as it was in previous games. I think the AK47 is weak here, but it can be good. I use 8.1 inch barrel, folder stock, fully loaded (I love ammo), a small optic and operator fore grip. Keeps the gun nice and handy.
I gave up on Ground War..its just not a good fit for a game like this with extremely fast TTK..had high hopes for it when this game was announced but its nothing compared to Battlefield AT ALL..nobody plays the flags just camp with snipers 👎🏾

All Praise Webb I have no idea what lobbies you’re getting into. Every game of Ground War I’ve been in thus far has had a large majority of the action around the flags with a majority of people playing them. In fact, a lot of my games have been pretty close with a real blowout only a few times. The game mode is super fun if you don’t play like a tool.
Would you ever consider putting all of these guns into an editable spreadsheet where we could change attachments and see exactly how stats change? Would be pretty cool and crazy useful.
Yeah helpful and CRAZY amount of work, are you aware of what you are asking him for (assuming he doesn´t already have one) that´d be hundreds of hours for something you can do in private matches...
Good idea, but different attachments have different effects for different guns (for example slight of hand is much less effective on the grau 5.56) so it would take a lot of time to get all of the combinations.

Azazel if you have all the stats it will not take hundred of hours, man 😂. I work with spreadsheets everyday. It’d be time consuming for sure, but super super cool.
I don't know why, but I've been having success with the p90. I use the 2nd barrel attachment and I can pick off people at mid range. The recoil is easy to control and it doesn't need any recoil reducing attachments. Plus it comes with a 50 round mag. I don't have to worry about reloading over using a stim shot.
I really like using the p90 as well. Got round to doing the no attachments camo and still shreds anyone but cant use 2nd barrel find it too ugly first barrel works well
I feel like EVERY gun is a hitmarker machine for me.. I get so many hitmarkers I'll even get them with rifles in hardcore rust aiming at their upper body
Charbladex Rust is definitely a map where you should play aggressively with submachine guns or ARs (in my opinion) because of how small it is. I feel like marksman and snipers might be a death sentence if you're not really versed in their ways. Again this is just my opinion.
when using an smg u gotta try using the m19 as a secondary w the 32 round mag and fully loaded perk. so u got like 300+ rounds starting with ur smg bc they use the same ammo. it’s sooo nice, never worry ab running out. perfect for long streaks
As always the M14. 1: one-shot to the head makes it reward skilled shooting. But with the ability to spam the trigger makes your 2 (3 at range) still deadly. 2: it's not meta. No one is going to remember getting killed by an mp5 or m4. Be remembered.
It's definitely not bad, but without a sight and some recoil reduction, I can't stand it. Specifically on 3v3 snipers only. Unless I hit that first shot, spamming it always leads to me not hitting my shots.

Finally a better list. I get that Ace doesn’t play close range gamemodes (like SnD, for example), but it is an absolute travesty that he forgot about the 725. In fact, I’d even put the 725 above the MP7 and Ram 7 on your list.
Honestly the order doesn’t matter whether it’s one gun above the other they all are absurdly powerful and outclass every single gun in their category and work great or at least decent bare minimum on every single game mode and map. Anyone who says otherwise lives under a fucking rock or has their head too far up their own ass. Any person who does not have at least these five guns in their top 5 or top whatever in any particular order is lying to themselves because it’s not opinionated, these are objectively the best guns in the game in regards to stats and usage.
kilo is just completely useless now that the grau is here. it has more range, less recoil, more movement speed, more ADS speed, better iron sights. for 20 less rpm. grau is just way better
@@rifie1495 to be honest, the Grau and Kilo are just reliable ARs that typically get the job done, but don't really impress. Both are bad if people get up on top of you, which the Ram, M4, and M13 can at least deal with better. However, depending on how you want to kit your gun, the Grau and Kilo can be better. For example, if you want to run an under barrel launcher, the Grau, Kilo, and M13 are the best, because they can manage recoil really well without needing a foregrip.
@@mv3780 tac laser, stippled grip, c.foregrip, ext magz your choice on amount preferred 60, and either a sight or compensator honestly the kilo is so versatile and has about the same ranges If not better than the M4 with easy recoil to control after 1 or 2 games. I only said compensator because that attachment really turns everything into a laser lol
I’ve been enjoying the scar. Since they adjusted the recoil it’s been great for me. It doesn’t belong on this list but I’m good at landing headshots which makes it comparable to the ever present m4/mp5
Short winded 9mm vs 10mm explanation: 10mm rounds takes less bullets to kill AT LONGER RANGES ONLY (assuming your not missing shots 10mm rounds also has more recoil which means you're missing more shots which makes the "less bullets to kill" null and void.
SYTHEOPATH 1 this is such a dumb explanation because Exclusive Ace always says the gun shreds “once you get used to the recoil” and that’s exactly the case with this gun. Also people don’t look at the 4 shot kill range which is a HUGE deal in the core game modes and I don’t know anybody who plays GW except for Exclusive Ace.

I'm not looking for advantages at longer ranges when I'm using an SMG. if this was an assault rifle I would agree with you. I personally like not missing my shots. If i miss even one of my shots because of the 10mm increased recoil then the better kill range values dont mean shit do they?
a lot of the guns perform the same, it’s just that slight difference that’s makes them different, if you know how to counter build weapons, any gun is viable and can do anything if fine tuned to your needs also most stat categories have a cap of around 2-3, meaning stacking more then 2 range attachments is less useful then just 2 or 1, and it seems unique attachments have a cap unique to said stat, it gives room to build around and eliminates cookie cutter classes, this has been the best class system imo, i wish it was explained more tho
There is pretty much only one way to build each gun because the negative sides if attachments murder almost every gun except for the OP ones in the video. An M4 barely needs attachments but the scar needs one for ads, one for recoil, one for ammo or reload time, and it just isnt worth it when you can just use the best weapon and not be restricted. This is by far the worst class system especially because the rest of a class has little to no thought put into it because they force you to have all slots filled
I’d say mine is probably the same. I’m not an LMG guy but it’s hard to deny how wicked the PKM is. I’ve really been digging the Grau though, at the moment it’s my favorite gun I think.
User that may actually be the one I’m thinking of. I use them so rarely I get em mixed up. Never been much of an lmg guy in COD, they’re just too slow. I was guilty of using the titan from time to time in BO4 though, that thing could basically be an smg lol
One of the other great things about keeping your Mp5 in 9mm is that you can run the M19 as a secondary with the fully loaded perk and it maximizes your ammo for the Mp5 as well without wasting a perk slot for your primary. Works really well for pubs when you want to go on longer streaks
My most used and absolute favorite weapon, especially after the buff, is the M13. This is just an absolute Laser and with the skeleton stock you have mobility like an smg
Sadly I got Gold with the M13 back in December and haven't touched it since (was my favorite for quite a while). Might have to go back to it for a bit and try it out now that it has gotten buffed.
Dude the Kilo is the best general Team death match gun. Kitting to rush or play for range. Without any attachments the recoil is realllllyyyyyyyy comfortable. Easiest to manipulate and adapt to. Which lets you focus on atatchments, map and play style

One important thing that no one seems to mention is the fact that you need to use a gun for more than a game or two to find out if you really like it or not, they all handle differently it takes a little time to realize exactly how to use it, especially if you are new to the game and have mostly been using the same gun since you started
You make the decision on which weapons to use easy an how to build each weapon to get the best out of that weapon it really helps keep up the great work and my top 5 weapons would have to be 5. Grau 5.56 4. Aug 3. M4 2. Kilo 1. MP5 I like the kilo more then the m4 bc it's got less recoil makes it ideal for all ranges I like to play aggressive an if I need I like to be able to feel confident taking long range fights
Nice to see the AUG make the list, I've always loved that gun! Also nice to see a discussion about hitrate here (practical TTK vs raw TTK), with regards to the 10mm rounds. I feel there are more than a few players who take raw TTK values as if that's all that matters, as opposed to factoring in recoil (especially horizontal recoil).
Have you seen the c-mag, integrally suppressed K-141 with no stock, grenade launcher, and sniper scope that Dysmo was fooling around with in one video? That thing was ridiculous.
I think the Oden is the best full-auto gun in the game, assuming you don’t miss. It beats all the guns on this list with its two-shot TTK. But if you miss one shot, it loses to all of them.
I don’t find that happening too often, most people use super-slow setups to reduce recoil, so if you optimize the Oden for ADS it is usually very competitive.
Glad to see you go back to the aug a bit.. for a while it was my top gun, then the kilo, then the ram7... but the aigs always felt better than any gun, its an smg, but its also an AR, and in hardcore its a realy good sniper... ive always stuck to the 556 but maybe goin back to 9mm is the way to go... i dont know, i havent touched the aug in prob a solid 3-4 weeks. I run the 622mm long, 5.56 30rds, tac laser, stippled and sleight of hand. Its laser accurate with slight verticle recoil. The aug barely has any side to side recoil. I can go toe to toe all day with m4s and mp5 on small, medium maps and not feel outclassed. 9mm is good and kills extremely fast in cqb but once your out of that sweet spot things get alot less consistant.
Do you know what is by far the most underrated weapon? The pkm set up for ADS. If you haven’t tried it already, put stipples grip, tac laser, shortest barrel, no stock and finally the unique grip that improves ADS. It’s a MONSTER, it is as fast as an AR with incredible time to kill at all ranges, enormous 100 round mag and is laser accurate. Try it you will not regret it.
Absolutely agree with the placebo affect of 10mm rounds, I used them religiously since I first unlocked them because in my head they did more damage. I have recently swapped to 45 round mags as well since I too am a fan of not running out of ammo mid gunfight.
Really agree about the 9mm over 10mm on the MP5. At range you need to add a shot but the recoil is lower so at least you’ll actually land your 4, 5 and 6th shot.
Phillip Rokkas well I use the 5mm only because it decreases sprint out time and ads speed. It also helps with hipfire kills at the same time without the recoil increase. But if no stock is faster I might switch. I usually don’t use any stock

My top 5 guns rn are probably 1 MP5 2 AK 47 3 Grau 5.56 4 M4A1 5 model 680 Obviously just my opinion but I definitely think the AK should be in the top 5. Its not quite as agressive as some faster 5.56 rifles like the M4 or the RAM 7, but its extremely good for anything beyond ultra close range. Attachments MP5: subsonic integral suppressor, stippled grip tape, merc foregrip, slight of hand, 10mm or 45 rnd mags Ak: commando grip, fully loaded, skeleton stock, compensator, stippled grip Grau: no stock, 50 rnd mags, nexus barrel, stippled grip tape, commando foregrip M4: 14.5 inch tac lite barrel, 1x sight of choice, commando foregrip, stippled grip tape, 50 rnd mags or slight of hand 680: choke, no stock, xrk truegrip tactical, 5mw laser, 18 inch liberator
You're really sleeping on the Bizon. I think it should be an honorable mention at the least. I find way more success using the Bizon than the mp7, but I'm just one person.
I personally think both the ram7 and m4 are better than the MP5. MP5 is godlike but doesn't have the same versatility. That said the MP7 and RAM7 are my preferred weapons in the game. I love faster rof weapons and I wish we had a true bullet hose in this game like the skorpion evo 3 or something. If only they didn't remove that ram7 9mm conversion.

I agree on the 10mm conversion. I tried it for a bit and found I performed much better with regular 9mm. Getting shots on target is priority over a bit more damage
On 9mm VS 10mm. The biggest advantage I find for pub games is being able to run fully loaded on a 9mm pistol. That means you will litterally never run out of ammo, this is often a huge deal for me with the 10mm rounds.
when this game was being hyped the devs were going on about how they wanted it to feel more realistic, gritty, etc, jump 3 months post lunch and everyone is halo jumping around corners with pink ARs with no stock. The meta of this game right now is extremely sad.
@@jacobnix7714 they can do what most other competitive shooters do and make it so jumping takes your hip-fire multiplier to 500%, etc. They got rid of jet packs and wall running, but now you can jump around corners with better accuracy than ever and slide half a mile... It's all the same in my book. They still haven't gone back to the "boots on the ground" CoD of MW1, 2, and 3.

Totally agree about the 10mm conversion for the MP5, tried it for one game then went back to the 45 round mag. I've also been having a lot of success with the AUG as an AR, with the longest barrel, merc foregrip, 5.56 mag, stippled grip and a reflex optic. You've got to give it a go.
RifIe 1 true ram is alot better actually like he said in the Video overall a way better gun weird that pretty much everyone still thinks the m4 is the best gun and everyone uses it.
Everyone always talks about SMGs and ARs being the best in the game but no one considers how useful a launcher secondary is on almost every class. The ability to deal with killstreaks effectively and catch campers off guard with launchers has worked very well for me and helped me and my team press advantages and make comebacks
Great content as always ACE; I enjoy seeing your setups and how they have changed over time. As someone who has more of an aggressive play-style I can’t really argue with this list lol. I would just encourage you to keep using the AUG; Amazing gun imo. I really appreciate seeing the attachments you use also; Particularly the breakdown of why you use the 9mm rounds instead of the conversion kit on the MP5. I will definitely be trying this because well, numbers don’t lie. 😉👍
M13 now got a really good headshot multiplier, just really good. Those attachments for M13 are just far better compared to other guns, and it just feels better than M4A1 for me for some reason. Easy 3 shot kills in most cases due to its laser accuracy, while u don't even need a underbarrel attachment to make that happen. Started to love it after season 2.
The GoldenChild maybe they don’t play hardcore often and their friends just wanna play it for fun. Hardcore is dumb imo but I still play it sometimes cause my friends like it and I don’t have a class set up for it.
I am so glad you said to not use blackouts in public matches. I noticed I perform better without them. Everyone swears to me they are better but I never felt that way. I prefer the extended mags hands down
The bizon definitely could've been an honorable mention. It has the second highest damage for smgs behind the striker 45 and has 64 bullets like come on.
Also, 10mm Auto cannot be shared with any other weapons, particularly the M19. If you use the M19 with fully loaded and extended mags, you get over 400 rounds to start. For me, that frees up a perk spot and helps with making an MP5 stealth class.
D R Ram, m4, and mp5 all are a bit too unbalanced and strong. using balanced guns like the m13 can be fun because you know you don’t have to abuse the meta to do good.
I stopped being good at online FPS many years ago, so I stopped playing them. After watching a bunch of your videos, I decided to pick up Modern Warfare. I’m was pleased to find that I’m absolutely NASTY again, and frankly I think I have you to thank.
From Ace's stats, monolithic intergral is +2 frames ADS, monolithic is +1 frame. Also apparently integral monolithic increases range a bit more than normal monolithic, adds 14% range, normal monolithic is + 7% range. Also increased bullet velocity. Worth it for one frame more. However in aces bullet velocity testing he said increased bullet velocity wasn't very noticable with mp5. I still use it though even if it only slightly increases it.
I do best with the M13. Don't know why, but in every cod I just excel with fast firing assault rifles, and building the m13 like an smg/ar hybrid seems to work beautifully
My top 5 are as follows SMG- P90 SMG- AUG AR - GRAU AR - FAL SMG -STRIKER 45 , despite the media’s tests this weapon helped me drop 98 kills in rust hardpoint, fun to use recommend iron sights and very aggressive play
My personal #1 is the AUG 5.56. 3-5 shot kill, with a moderate fire rate, easily controlled straight vertical recoil, easy irons (bright green dot), and SMG handling in an AR package. #2 SCAR (best AR for Ground War) #3 EBR 14 (for cross-map Ground War kills) #4 Grau 556 (very similar to AUG 5.56) #5 P90/Bizon (depend if you prefer high RoF or high damage in an SMG)
@@ashleymesser6792 Word. I think they did. Teal'c would, at times, use a LMG though I don't recall which on when he started using "Tauri" weapons in the later seasons. I always found it funny how much smaller the P90 looked in his hands compared to the other characters. Especially when he dual-wielded them. I wish shows like that would use attachments though especially when O'Neill and that Russian colonel were comparing weapons.
I completely agree about the 10mm ammo for the MP5. I have never liked how much it has kicked, and have always had MUCH better success using the 45 round mags. Incredibly simple and yet overlooked attachment preference.
Matt Wilson the Oden is great. You just need to use it properly. Don’t hip fire, aim for the upper chest. Hit your shots and it’s one of the best guns in the game. (My opinion, and I shred with it)
Ace... you should let people know that using the 9mm M19 pistol for a secondary will give you full ammo reserve on the MP5. (Any gun using 9mm) also... X16 for the STRIKER 45, and the Deagle .50 cal for the sniper .50 cal. They all share ammo pools
Because you want to have good handling and you wanna run and gun cqc inside houses. You'll be destroyed by an mp5 10/10 times if youre using a ram in those situations
"ItsNick" actually made a top 5 video with both the Grau AND somehow the Striker in there as well - only 1 week ago he made the exact same video, w/o those two guns ofc. We all know the Striker is nowhere near top 5, so basically he is deliberately lying to hes viewers to make a few ad$. How he ever got beyond 500k subs without knowing anything about the game is a mystery to me.

Hey Ace, not exactly related to the video, but I have a video suggestion for you. I think it would be really cool if you did a sort of analysis on the No Stock attachment, like how much it increases movement speed for each class, the recoil reduction and other changes it has on the guns. Each gun would interact slightly differently so you obviously aren't going to make a video showcasing every gun, but a sort of generalised analysis would be cool I think!
For all the talk of crazy customisation in this game, gunsmith is actually pretty barebones. Most meta classes run the exact same things. Stippled grip and an ADS buffing stock are almost always run, Commando grip is almost always run, and then a barrel is almost always run, then the fifth attachment is usually either the supressor/compensator or an optic. I think there needs to be more attachments that buff things like Movement speed, strafe speed etc and nerf things other than recoil or ADS speed.
1) FR 5.56 Optic GI, Stock FSS Tac-Wrsp, Underbarrel Commado, Ammunition, Rear Grip Stippled Grip Tap 2) PP19 Bizon, Muzzle Compensator, Laser Tac Laser, Optic GI, Stock Corvus SS, Rear Grip Granulated GT Really after that MP5, M4A1, AUG I mess around with the attachments for these guns. I don't have a go to blue print for these.
1. AK-47 2. Uzi 3. P-90 4. Aug 5. MP5. Those are my top 5. Sleight of hand and rear gripped tape on the AK-47 has the same ADS as the MP5. Just try it. You won’t be sorry. It’s my go to in any mode.
Ace, if you want recoil stabilization for that side to side recoil use a muzzle break... its better than the commando grip and doesn't slow your movement speed... and the ADS decrease is not big enough to be an issue... muzzle break>commando just like compensator> operator grip or Merc Grip... If your stats say otherwise please enlighten me cause I'd really like to know...
The stealthiest ultimate super stealth class: mp5 With subsonic integral suppressor barrel, commando fore grip, rubberized grip tape, ammo conversion kit, and fully loaded since you’re going to be sneaking out streaks and burning through bullets so fast. Perks: cold blooded, ghost, and shrapnel
This is probably biased since I mostly play cyber attack, but I really love using the Oden. It just takes people out at long ranges so quickly. And I run it with a P90 (another one of my favorites) so whenever I'm covered for close ranges too. Although the Oden is also useful for when you know an enemy is right around the corner camping with a shotgun and then you can just 2 tap them really quickly.
I like the FAL for ranged fights, several ways to build it; including sniper/thermal sights. The Ram7 or M13 would be my pick for the medium range kind of fights where you have to spray over a head glitch. M4 used to be better but I swear the m13/ram feels so solid now... and I'd take the Bizon for the closer ranged fights because of the large clip size, and fast reload/ads times.

The 10mm got a nerf, so it no longer kills with 2 headshots. It was better before, but 45 mag all the way now.
Actual hitrate (TTK + recoil/spread) matters far more than just looking at raw TTK (no recoil), so yeah, it absolutely makes sense.

My favorite gun is the AK47, I just love that it is a 3 shot kill 99% of the time.
Also a 1 shot 99% of the time in HC.

I love the AKM a lot (in real life and in COD) but it is not as good as it was in previous games. I think the AK47 is weak here, but it can be good. I use 8.1 inch barrel, folder stock, fully loaded (I love ammo), a small optic and operator fore grip. Keeps the gun nice and handy.

I gave up on Ground War..its just not a good fit for a game like this with extremely fast TTK..had high hopes for it when this game was announced but its nothing compared to Battlefield AT ALL..nobody plays the flags just camp with snipers 👎🏾

All Praise Webb I have no idea what lobbies you’re getting into. Every game of Ground War I’ve been in thus far has had a large majority of the action around the flags with a majority of people playing them. In fact, a lot of my games have been pretty close with a real blowout only a few times. The game mode is super fun if you don’t play like a tool.

Good idea, but different attachments have different effects for different guns (for example slight of hand is much less effective on the grau 5.56) so it would take a lot of time to get all of the combinations.

I don't know why, but I've been having success with the p90. I use the 2nd barrel attachment and I can pick off people at mid range. The recoil is easy to control and it doesn't need any recoil reducing attachments. Plus it comes with a 50 round mag. I don't have to worry about reloading over using a stim shot.

As always the M14. 1: one-shot to the head makes it reward skilled shooting. But with the ability to spam the trigger makes your 2 (3 at range) still deadly. 2: it's not meta. No one is going to remember getting killed by an mp5 or m4. Be remembered.

It's definitely not bad, but without a sight and some recoil reduction, I can't stand it. Specifically on 3v3 snipers only. Unless I hit that first shot, spamming it always leads to me not hitting my shots.

Honestly the order doesn’t matter whether it’s one gun above the other they all are absurdly powerful and outclass every single gun in their category and work great or at least decent bare minimum on every single game mode and map. Anyone who says otherwise lives under a fucking rock or has their head too far up their own ass. Any person who does not have at least these five guns in their top 5 or top whatever in any particular order is lying to themselves because it’s not opinionated, these are objectively the best guns in the game in regards to stats and usage.
I say 2nd honorable mention would be the Kilo.
kilo is just completely useless now that the grau is here. it has more range, less recoil, more movement speed, more ADS speed, better iron sights. for 20 less rpm. grau is just way better

Both are bad if people get up on top of you, which the Ram, M4, and M13 can at least deal with better. However, depending on how you want to kit your gun, the Grau and Kilo can be better. For example, if you want to run an under barrel launcher, the Grau, Kilo, and M13 are the best, because they can manage recoil really well without needing a foregrip.

a lot of the guns perform the same, it’s just that slight difference that’s makes them different, if you know how to counter build weapons, any gun is viable and can do anything if fine tuned to your needs
also most stat categories have a cap of around 2-3, meaning stacking more then 2 range attachments is less useful then just 2 or 1, and it seems unique attachments have a cap unique to said stat, it gives room to build around and eliminates cookie cutter classes, this has been the best class system imo, i wish it was explained more tho

There is pretty much only one way to build each gun because the negative sides if attachments murder almost every gun except for the OP ones in the video. An M4 barely needs attachments but the scar needs one for ads, one for recoil, one for ammo or reload time, and it just isnt worth it when you can just use the best weapon and not be restricted. This is by far the worst class system especially because the rest of a class has little to no thought put into it because they force you to have all slots filled
I’d say mine is probably the same. I’m not an LMG guy but it’s hard to deny how wicked the PKM is. I’ve really been digging the Grau though, at the moment it’s my favorite gun I think.

One of the other great things about keeping your Mp5 in 9mm is that you can run the M19 as a secondary with the fully loaded perk and it maximizes your ammo for the Mp5 as well without wasting a perk slot for your primary. Works really well for pubs when you want to go on longer streaks

My most used and absolute favorite weapon, especially after the buff, is the M13. This is just an absolute Laser and with the skeleton stock you have mobility like an smg
Sadly I got Gold with the M13 back in December and haven't touched it since (was my favorite for quite a while). Might have to go back to it for a bit and try it out now that it has gotten buffed.

Dude the Kilo is the best general Team death match gun. Kitting to rush or play for range. Without any attachments the recoil is realllllyyyyyyyy comfortable. Easiest to manipulate and adapt to. Which lets you focus on atatchments, map and play style

One important thing that no one seems to mention is the fact that you need to use a gun for more than a game or two to find out if you really like it or not, they all handle differently it takes a little time to realize exactly how to use it, especially if you are new to the game and have mostly been using the same gun since you started
You make the decision on which weapons to use easy an how to build each weapon to get the best out of that weapon it really helps keep up the great work and my top 5 weapons would have to be 5. Grau 5.56 4. Aug 3. M4 2. Kilo 1. MP5 I like the kilo more then the m4 bc it's got less recoil makes it ideal for all ranges I like to play aggressive an if I need I like to be able to feel confident taking long range fights

Have you seen the c-mag, integrally suppressed K-141 with no stock, grenade launcher, and sniper scope that Dysmo was fooling around with in one video? That thing was ridiculous.
I think the Oden is the best full-auto gun in the game, assuming you don’t miss. It beats all the guns on this list with its two-shot TTK. But if you miss one shot, it loses to all of them.
It's slow as hell tho if you run up on a guy with MP5 or m4 you get melted before you can aim in.

I don’t find that happening too often, most people use super-slow setups to reduce recoil, so if you optimize the Oden for ADS it is usually very competitive.
Glad to see you go back to the aug a bit.. for a while it was my top gun, then the kilo, then the ram7... but the aigs always felt better than any gun, its an smg, but its also an AR, and in hardcore its a realy good sniper... ive always stuck to the 556 but maybe goin back to 9mm is the way to go... i dont know, i havent touched the aug in prob a solid 3-4 weeks. I run the 622mm long, 5.56 30rds, tac laser, stippled and sleight of hand. Its laser accurate with slight verticle recoil. The aug barely has any side to side recoil. I can go toe to toe all day with m4s and mp5 on small, medium maps and not feel outclassed. 9mm is good and kills extremely fast in cqb but once your out of that sweet spot things get alot less consistant.
Do you know what is by far the most underrated weapon? The pkm set up for ADS. If you haven’t tried it already, put stipples grip, tac laser, shortest barrel, no stock and finally the unique grip that improves ADS. It’s a MONSTER, it is as fast as an AR with incredible time to kill at all ranges, enormous 100 round mag and is laser accurate. Try it you will not regret it.

Absolutely agree with the placebo affect of 10mm rounds, I used them religiously since I first unlocked them because in my head they did more damage. I have recently swapped to 45 round mags as well since I too am a fan of not running out of ammo mid gunfight.

Really agree about the 9mm over 10mm on the MP5. At range you need to add a shot but the recoil is lower so at least you’ll actually land your 4, 5 and 6th shot.

Phillip Rokkas well I use the 5mm only because it decreases sprint out time and ads speed. It also helps with hipfire kills at the same time without the recoil increase. But if no stock is faster I might switch. I usually don’t use any stock

Obviously just my opinion but I definitely think the AK should be in the top 5. Its not quite as agressive as some faster 5.56 rifles like the M4 or the RAM 7, but its extremely good for anything beyond ultra close range.

Every once in a while I get zipped by a bizon. I'm working on some camos for a few guns but once I'm done, I'm going to fuck around with the bizon.
I personally think both the ram7 and m4 are better than the MP5. MP5 is godlike but doesn't have the same versatility. That said the MP7 and RAM7 are my preferred weapons in the game. I love faster rof weapons and I wish we had a true bullet hose in this game like the skorpion evo 3 or something. If only they didn't remove that ram7 9mm conversion.

On 9mm VS 10mm. The biggest advantage I find for pub games is being able to run fully loaded on a 9mm pistol. That means you will litterally never run out of ammo, this is often a huge deal for me with the 10mm rounds.
when this game was being hyped the devs were going on about how they wanted it to feel more realistic, gritty, etc, jump 3 months post lunch and everyone is halo jumping around corners with pink ARs with no stock. The meta of this game right now is extremely sad.

Everyone always talks about SMGs and ARs being the best in the game but no one considers how useful a launcher secondary is on almost every class. The ability to deal with killstreaks effectively and catch campers off guard with launchers has worked very well for me and helped me and my team press advantages and make comebacks
Great content as always ACE; I enjoy seeing your setups and how they have changed over time. As someone who has more of an aggressive play-style I can’t really argue with this list lol. I would just encourage you to keep using the AUG; Amazing gun imo. I really appreciate seeing the attachments you use also; Particularly the breakdown of why you use the 9mm rounds instead of the conversion kit on the MP5. I will definitely be trying this because well, numbers don’t lie. 😉👍
M13 now got a really good headshot multiplier, just really good. Those attachments for M13 are just far better compared to other guns, and it just feels better than M4A1 for me for some reason. Easy 3 shot kills in most cases due to its laser accuracy, while u don't even need a underbarrel attachment to make that happen. Started to love it after season 2.

I am so glad you said to not use blackouts in public matches. I noticed I perform better without them. Everyone swears to me they are better but I never felt that way. I prefer the extended mags hands down
The bizon definitely could've been an honorable mention. It has the second highest damage for smgs behind the striker 45 and has 64 bullets like come on.
The Bizon is my favorite gun in the entire game. LMG worthy magazine size, good damage, respectable ROF... I love her.
Also, 10mm Auto cannot be shared with any other weapons, particularly the M19. If you use the M19 with fully loaded and extended mags, you get over 400 rounds to start. For me, that frees up a perk spot and helps with making an MP5 stealth class.

I prefer the intergrated monolithic imo because it doesn't have as much downsides as compared with the monolithic suppressor .
From Ace's stats, monolithic intergral is +2 frames ADS, monolithic is +1 frame. Also apparently integral monolithic increases range a bit more than normal monolithic, adds 14% range, normal monolithic is + 7% range. Also increased bullet velocity. Worth it for one frame more. However in aces bullet velocity testing he said increased bullet velocity wasn't very noticable with mp5. I still use it though even if it only slightly increases it.
I do best with the M13. Don't know why, but in every cod I just excel with fast firing assault rifles, and building the m13 like an smg/ar hybrid seems to work beautifully
The AK turns into a melting machine when u add the mini barrel most people don’t use because it’s unlocked at a high tier

Completely agree with the 9mm v 10mm on the mp5, I’d suggest the ranger foregrip for better from the hip accuracy and unaffected movement speed
R W better hip fire is the merc foregrip, not ranger

P90 is pretty solid
My personal #1 is the AUG 5.56. 3-5 shot kill, with a moderate fire rate, easily controlled straight vertical recoil, easy irons (bright green dot), and SMG handling in an AR package.
#2 SCAR (best AR for Ground War)
#3 EBR 14 (for cross-map Ground War kills)
#4 Grau 556 (very similar to AUG 5.56)
#5 P90/Bizon (depend if you prefer high RoF or high damage in an SMG)
I use the P90 because of Stargate: SG-1. There, I said it.

@@ashleymesser6792 Word. I think they did. Teal'c would, at times, use a LMG though I don't recall which on when he started using "Tauri" weapons in the later seasons. I always found it funny how much smaller the P90 looked in his hands compared to the other characters. Especially when he dual-wielded them.
I wish shows like that would use attachments though especially when O'Neill and that Russian colonel were comparing weapons.

I completely agree about the 10mm ammo for the MP5. I have never liked how much it has kicked, and have always had MUCH better success using the 45 round mags. Incredibly simple and yet overlooked attachment preference.

Matt Wilson the Oden is great. You just need to use it properly. Don’t hip fire, aim for the upper chest. Hit your shots and it’s one of the best guns in the game. (My opinion, and I shred with it)
Ace... you should let people know that using the 9mm M19 pistol for a secondary will give you full ammo reserve on the MP5. (Any gun using 9mm) also... X16 for the STRIKER 45, and the Deagle .50 cal for the sniper .50 cal. They all share ammo pools

AUG with 60 round 5.56 drum, merc fore grip, tac laser, stippled grip, and whatever stock increases ads... This thing SHREDS on any small map.

"ItsNick" actually made a top 5 video with both the Grau AND somehow the Striker in there as well - only 1 week ago he made the exact same video, w/o those two guns ofc. We all know the Striker is nowhere near top 5, so basically he is deliberately lying to hes viewers to make a few ad$. How he ever got beyond 500k subs without knowing anything about the game is a mystery to me.

Hey Ace, not exactly related to the video, but I have a video suggestion for you. I think it would be really cool if you did a sort of analysis on the No Stock attachment, like how much it increases movement speed for each class, the recoil reduction and other changes it has on the guns. Each gun would interact slightly differently so you obviously aren't going to make a video showcasing every gun, but a sort of generalised analysis would be cool I think!
Found out I absolutely love the Famas, I hated it at first but its now my go to.
For all the talk of crazy customisation in this game, gunsmith is actually pretty barebones. Most meta classes run the exact same things. Stippled grip and an ADS buffing stock are almost always run, Commando grip is almost always run, and then a barrel is almost always run, then the fifth attachment is usually either the supressor/compensator or an optic. I think there needs to be more attachments that buff things like Movement speed, strafe speed etc and nerf things other than recoil or ADS speed.
1) FR 5.56 Optic GI, Stock FSS Tac-Wrsp, Underbarrel Commado, Ammunition, Rear Grip Stippled Grip Tap
2) PP19 Bizon, Muzzle Compensator, Laser Tac Laser, Optic GI, Stock Corvus SS, Rear Grip Granulated GT
Really after that MP5, M4A1, AUG I mess around with the attachments for these guns. I don't have a go to blue print for these.
1. AK-47 2. Uzi 3. P-90 4. Aug 5. MP5. Those are my top 5. Sleight of hand and rear gripped tape on the AK-47 has the same ADS as the MP5. Just try it. You won’t be sorry. It’s my go to in any mode.
In my opinion, my top 5 are, No.5 aug, no. 4 mp7, no. 3 m4, no. 2 the new Grau 556, and I agree MP5 is king! Great videos Ace!
The mp7 has been my pride and joy since this game dropped. Also, the snakeshot 357 with the long barrel and a 5mw is a nasty secondary post-patch.
Ace, if you want recoil stabilization for that side to side recoil use a muzzle break... its better than the commando grip and doesn't slow your movement speed... and the ADS decrease is not big enough to be an issue... muzzle break>commando just like compensator> operator grip or Merc Grip...
If your stats say otherwise please enlighten me cause I'd really like to know...
The stealthiest ultimate super stealth class: mp5 With subsonic integral suppressor barrel, commando fore grip, rubberized grip tape, ammo conversion kit, and fully loaded since you’re going to be sneaking out streaks and burning through bullets so fast. Perks: cold blooded, ghost, and shrapnel
This is probably biased since I mostly play cyber attack, but I really love using the Oden. It just takes people out at long ranges so quickly. And I run it with a P90 (another one of my favorites) so whenever I'm covered for close ranges too. Although the Oden is also useful for when you know an enemy is right around the corner camping with a shotgun and then you can just 2 tap them really quickly.
I like the FAL for ranged fights, several ways to build it; including sniper/thermal sights. The Ram7 or M13 would be my pick for the medium range kind of fights where you have to spray over a head glitch. M4 used to be better but I swear the m13/ram feels so solid now... and I'd take the Bizon for the closer ranged fights because of the large clip size, and fast reload/ads times.
