The reason we KNOW cardi has a ghost writer, is her reference tracks were leaked, she said on stage at a performance “yall talking about ghostwriters, so what? The "Ghostwriting" I wouldn't call an allegation it's a fact, what I would say is that her writer is not a ghost pardison Fontaine is very real and he has writing credits on every hit of hers that touched Billboard. 🤷🏾♀️ That's no shade to her and she has said before that she's not ashamed that she gets help as she puts it when it comes to her lyrics because as I said she doesn't try to hide him when it comes to giving credit on her albums or singles.

Cardi has won ASCAP Songwriter awards, Cardi has always spoke it in wants consider a more male-oriented way of speaking. Many women speak this way but they're considered masculine. One person who was competing with her started that allegation and everyone ran with it. Especially knowing women are always under scrutiny over being writers. Every person has said she wrote in the studio in front of them but the woman who made up the rumor.

Quick question, what exactly defines a ghost writer? I was under the impression that a ghostwriter will write content for someone and allow that individual to take credit for the writing. Cardi doesn’t take credit for the writing of this song. Or any of her songs. All the writers are fully credited correctly. Cardi performed the hell out of the song and deserves credit for that. Artist are not required to write their own music. This is a dumb narrative that needs to stop.
