Well said. Its always my desire to own an affordable camera that is portable and capture memories as I travel.
It's challenging that many RUclipsrs are comparing this phone with other competitive models that uses AI image processing.
I would say Xiaomi 13 Ultra's direction is more towards capturing images that works similar to a real camera.
Unfortunately I wasn't able to get the camera kit due to people jacking up prices and ran out of stock. 😢
I hope Xiaomi is able to produce more of the camera kit available under their stipulated price.

Very thoughtful video n I agree with ALL THE POINTS put forward by you.
Only thing bugs me , Xiaomi is notorious for it's software updates, buggy . One is always afraid that after 2 years camera may have some awful bugs, which is the USP of this phone.
Xiaomi should have taken care of that reputation seriously
haha, only thing that bugs you are the bugs in the software.
Anyways, I AGREE, if the Xiaomi 13 Ultra costed 600-800 USD I'd have let it slide but it costs more than the S23 Ultra in my country, and buggy and messy software experiences with BAD software updates/update speeds are just unacceptable at that price.
Those are not bugs...for Xiaomi after 2 years you have to buy a new phone. All my Xiaomi phones had that "problem", specially when the last update signature contains "blockota"... You know your phone is dead, lol
I hope Xiaomi will also good selfie camera before I die 😅

I'm curious about the lens cap dimensions...stock case that's in the original package has 60mm so if you'd like to buy third party Accessoires Like filter adapter or lens caps you'll be unlucky cause that's not a common size
Maybe someone know if the case from the photography kit case the same size or if it's 62mm?
The photography kit have a 67mm adapter.

The case that comes with the phone (black plastic one) has a similar ring around but that's 60mm so you have no chance for third party options

Currently, no phone supports that. Max fps of all 2023 flagship phones is only 60fps on 4k.
