The only one that is justified in being removed is the female blood elves "So, you mean I'm stuck with this hair color?" because we've had the barbershop since wotlk and it didn't really make sense for the joke to be there anymore.
Nah ut, let's say all these jokes are inside the game universe, for that same reason, it wouldn't make anysense the joke the belves says about having a bone on their nose, we can't have that, so inside the game and lore they probably can't change the hair color or need a lot of time to heal, the one I see justified it's one of the first of the female humans

@@jeffreylundin4716 DO you truly think that the removal of those jokes is the reason to start an organized boycott? I would say that this is just another example of why there ought to be an organized boycott. It goes to show that the integrity of the company has disappeared in the depths of some pit, when the fundamental wholeness of their games is no longer considered as something that ought to be kept up. It is totally permissible to retcon things that were established in a multitude of previous titles, when it comes to the story of the games, it is TOTALLY "okay" to make whole literary works obsolete due to some willy-nilly changes, it is absolutely appropriate to remove things that exemplify the dev team's appreciation of the community. Not only that, but it is absolutely reasonable to assume that this company does not deserve to be supported, considering the fact that it does not allow its developers to take the time needed to create as massive a product as the company would like them to create. Broken systems in WoW months, even years after the expansion is released, all owed up to the fact that the dev team did not get to utilize as much time play-testing as possible. Systems that are purposefully designed to be anti-player, just because those benefit the company. Sub-par products sold at prices so great it would seem one is buying a new arm and leg, rather than a game. Examples abound - A multiplayer only game that features an obscene number of micro-transactions that costs 60$. A remake of a 15+ year old game that is worse in every conceivable aspect than the older version because it was rushed and filled with anti-user systems. A number of expansions that do not care for the accomplishment of the player in previous sections of the game and thoroughly remove any progress they might have made. Not only that, but also inadequate compensation for the people who deserve not to be boycotted, on the part of the company itself. Indecent wages for the devs of the games; contract work, rather than full on employment; firing hundreds of people at a time just because a product was finished, rather than relocating them to other endeavours. Do we even need to mention the toxic workplace environment that Activision-Blizzard has admitted to be a fact, by both paying out a multi-million $ settlement AND doing everything in their power to make their games appear totally non-sexist? Don't boycott Activision-Blizzard because of the removal of a bunch of silly jokes and flirt emotes. Boycott Activision-Blizzard over the abhorrent quality of their recently released products, their unfathomably foul business practices and their dreadful treatment of their workers.

The joke references Mac'aree, a region of Argus. Did they really remove it because it sounds vaguely like McCree? Was the zone named after him to begin with?
@@waderoberts3701 I'd say it references both of those things, but the makarena reference is super harmless, and to people who don't know - and not a lot of people will know that there's a zone in Argus that's called Mac'Aree, even among those who have played the game - it's just that.
Though it was definitely removed because of that. It's very similar to McCree, Mac'Aree, that is, and due to that they're scraping everything they can.
It's so ludicrously dumb.
And I couldn't know the answers to the questions you posed. Wish I did, but fuck if I know.
would have expected nothing less from blizzard making the highest quality of jokes, "are they real" like 5 times over. good work guys.
“Whats estrogen? Can you eat it” should have stayed 😂😂😂
Way to go for Blizzard for once again getting rid of of something that no one really had a problem with.
They removed the kinky goblin lines.
How fucking dare they.
This game is dead to me.
*sad gobbo noises*
And they do that instead of actually fixing the problem.
Neckbeard
The family jewels joke was genuinely my favorite one in the game, goddammit Blizz.
Of the removed my favourite was the one from the Demon Huntress. When i first heard it, i actually thought she spoke of her horns/wings.
Yah this companly is stupid. My only hope is that someone designs an addon within the addon community that adds all these jokes back in.
Yeah, I haven't played WoW in years, but that was my favorite Draenei joke. I knew it would be on the chopping block when I saw this, but it's still sad.
@@celticnoble5650 Yet ehy arent dropping the joke for b elves alluding to ciggarettes lol
"What's estrogen? Can you eat it?"
Yes, at Burger King.
I did not expect to remember so many of these from so long ago.
That's literally the best goblin joke. And they're getting rid of it.
Elf: Sings Pussycat dolls
Blizzard: OMG remove it at once
It's a tragedy that these are being removed... At this rate, each race is going to end up with like 2 voicelines each.
And at that point Blizzard management will get caught doing something else reprehensible and they'll go ahead and remove those last two voice lines to once again cure the problem.
I use the /silly macro all the time and as a dwarf main i was wondering where the wardrobe ling went, sad, it was the best one.
Okay so when i was a kid and first started playing i told the human male joke at the beginning to my grandfather whos 80% Ojibwe and he laughed his ass off. Anacdotal but god damn lol.
Absolutely no reason to remove these. Some of the best jokes and flirts are now gone and I bet Blizz won't even put a cent into putting new ones in. We're losing content and not getting anything back lmao.
The hair color one should have been removed cuz you can change the hair color now. Honestly that's the only one that makes sense
Looks like the taliban took over blizzard as well
They would be an improvement
They would be an improvement
blizzard is based in kabul after all
No, Taliban is based. Blizzard is not.
Taliban are against the woke trash Blizzard advocates for.
3:12 hmmmm I wonder why they removed this one? Maybe it hit a bit to close home for some...
2:10
I haven’t played a second of World of Warcraft but the “homogenized? no I like the lady’s” line from the Male minotaur actually got me to laugh out loud 🤣
I remember when Blizzard used to worry about making good games.
Yeah, in late 90s and early 2000s
They're removing jokes now? What a mess. Glad i quit.
So this is how WOW died, it’s heart and soul torn out and we’re left with a soulless husk… well at least FF14 is a safe heaven from this crap.
Probably not. It's a Japanese company with balls as big as Yoko Taro's. They don't really care. Too bad I don't like anime. Nor do I like MMOs focused on the story. Game seems good for what it's trying to accomplish.
@@Blitzkrieg1605 yeah for someone not liking anime style its tough but it does bring some fun boss mechanics which are actually fun and impactful to do.
@@Blitzkrieg1605 You say this when they are one of the most harsh towards people who break there ingame harassment rules. Unlike Blizz they are quick to ban
@@GazingTrandoshan Sounds like FF has a decent moderation team vs Blizzard’s non-existent one since Activision axed them all.
@@Blitzkrieg1605 FF14 isn't too story focused (which is unfortunate for me, because I love stories).
It's very heavy on the multiplayer boss fights though; they're mandatory to continue the game.
Imagine thinking removing all of this will somehow repair their corporate reputation lately, when more than half of them have been in the game when Blizzard was still good.
First they took, "Westfall makes my ass itch." Now, "I like to fart in the tub" is gone. I have no cause to use /silly anymore.
Why would they remove the first one? It's one of the best dad jokes of all time.
offensive to "native peoples". Activision stinks
@@Nesenda I could bet my life that no native would ever find that offensive. This corporate purge is just sad, they're going to make it a completely soulless game.
@@TheXxmadmanxxkkk they wouldnt, but it isnt called "white savior complex" for no reason. and youre sadly right. cant even stand to play the game now.
Maybe instead of spending your time on removing old stuff no one was complaining about, you spend that time fixing your shit, Blizzard
OK all of these jokes are hilarious.
They are, but not to blizz.
"Rules are like lovers, much better if they can be flexible." - actual quote in Runescape. There's also a granny writing sex poetry.
Then again, Runescape did rename a ton of NPC's that were all called "Ali", make changes to tribesmen and remove "Gypsy" Aris' name... but sex jokes are still fine I guess.
"i like to fart in the tub" truly the voice of the people
