This video does a far better job than any video I have found yet. The whole "Master/Slave" thing is a little cringe-worthy in these "enlightened-times", even for 30-year old technology, but what are ya going to do?
This is an awesome video on CAN bus technology. I really appreciated the various animated diagrams used throughout the video. I do want to point out a tiny, tinsy, weensy error. At 7:06 of the video there is a diagram explaining the varying voltage on a light bulb and a volt meter. The way this is wired up, the voltage will be a constant 12Volts and would not move at all. The Positive Probe should have been placed on the negative side of the light bulb, not the direct battery side.
Such a wonderful explanation, especially the graphics and animations. Probably the best video available on RUclips for an Introduction to CAN & LIN. Thanks @SY_Diagnostics for this masterpiece.
