Definitely her very best performance of Ever Dream so far. This is so full of emotion from both Marco and Anette; it's hard to believe how much Anette has improved over the DPP tour. Here's hoping that she and the guys in Nightwish will be this awesome on the upcoming Imaginaerum tour (but we all know they will be)!
Anette has REALLY improved a lot and this sounds great!! I can't wait to hear the new album that will be made with her voice in mind. I bet it's going to be awesome!!! Nightwish forever!!!
I just watched this song yesterday, a concert in 2007, another one in Wacken 2008, and this one. And Anette has developed beyond anything I ever expected. My jaw fell to the floor when she started singing the chrous, I was brutally amazed. Nightwish's next album will be the best, I tell you! GO ANETTE, GO NIGHTWISH! \m/
Don't know if you were talking to me, but I always supported Anette a lot. I loved her in her songs, than I loved her in Creek Mary's Blood, Ghost Love Score and Dead Boy's Poem! She is getting better better.
Just................ wow! This is by far my favourite Nightwish song and this is just...... there aren't words to describe how amazing this is. Even that one section where Anette voice sometimes cracks when she hits the really high pitched 'Ever felt a way with me' was amazing. I didn't think she had this kind of range in her. All I have to say is that when they go on tour for their next album they'd better have this song on their playlist, I'd be really, truly upset if they didn't
@irenikus777 sorry but she's not singing in a low range. She's clearly reaching the notes Tarja reached singing opera, the difference is that anette is reaching them with chest voice and belting. And dont say that ever dream doesnt have high notes cause it does. Not many singers are able to combine chest voice and belting in a song and not many singers are able to sing that high without opera training, and moreover this is LIVE. In my opinion anette olzon is better cause she's more versatile.
It's a real shame they don't play it that much... I listened to one of the earlier versions, one from 2008 and then this one from Hartwall... She's improved so much over the years she's been in NW that the haters should stop saying she ain't got any talent or that she can't sing... Cause she can...

I love when people act like Tarja was the trye front woman of the band forgetting she was only the hired singer, Nightwish' grace comes from master Tuomas, not some "dramatic wailing banshee" (Sorry, loved that expression :P)
This version isn't bad. Problem is that it just sounds like a nightwish cover band. Its good, but its just doesn't sound like it should! Impressed though, I saw them earlier in this tour and her voice wasn't nearly as good

I think, anette she really deserves her place as the main vocalist of Nightwish, but she missed something, she needs a little bit more prescence on the stage, but she is on the right way sorry for my stupid english XD

funny @ 3:02 MARCO comes and BAMMM his voice is so present that Anette's voice fall into background... But I must still say since 2008 her voice has climbed up two levels in quality and she found ways to SING ! not scream the old songs in a lower range.

The Tarja vs annete quarrel should end someday, enjoy the dam music. There are better singers than Tarja and Annete and bands that can kick nightwish ass anyday of the week. So enjoy the music and be happy. And to call a singer of the caliber of tarja a ¨dramatic wailing Banshee" is just a bad joke. Tarja is deeply emotional when she sings, a quality that any musician should have if they love music.

I live in the USA and they play on a small stage (unfortunately) and she does great here. Not to say she doesn't do great here...but i think with her old band she was used to small stages, and now with Nightwish she's playing sold out arenas. She will have it by next tour i'm sure. Nightwish FTW!
