When people want to change what you loved about a series I like to go back and read some of the books. Darth Bane’s trilogy has a lot of action and explains the Sith concepts pretty well. I also been told to read everything to do with Thrawn and the scramble for galactic stability when the empire fell. Id recommend those and I feel like you can never go wrong with old republic stuff. There is so much of it for everyone to enjoy. These stories tend to enhance Star Wars as a whole instead of pushing one message at the cost of a developed story.
Agreed..Bane trilogy was great..I would recommend X-wing series , republic commando series, and anything by Timothy Zahn ( he does Thrawn )..to me this will always be canon..not this new shit they are pumping out

OMG I’m so excited…….to NEVER watch this piece of agenda pushing trash. My Star Wars ended in my childhood. This new stuff isn’t Star Wars it should be called gender wars.
When I talk to folks I never introduce myself as a heterosexual cisgender Hispanic male it’s quite redundant for a meaningful conversation especially when I’m talking about myself I actually use things other than my race or sexuality to describe myself because it’s unnecessary especially if I was writing a freaking Star Wars show and talking about it the show isn’t about me i may talk about the effort to stay true to a Star Wars story that draws inspiration from George Lucas and artistic value I put in it but I would not make the show about my sexual identity or whatever this chick is doing.
You know, at this point, I’m just like “ whatever”. They keep doing this stuff, and they are going to continue to get low ratings, and low box office returns. You can actually see a line of demarcation, where Disney decided to not make their marvel and Star Wars projects about the actual story, and instead started making stuff, just to check inclusiveness boxes. The problem is, the demographics that they are pandering to, will applaud them on social media, but they really won’t be coming out in droves to consume their products. I can’t wait for this fad to get tired, and jump the shark.

If she’s taking seriously what she is saying (ie sisterhood, not romantic desire), then I kind of agree. Too much content (gay and straight) pushes the narrative that romantic relationships are what matters most (or worse, assumes romance must be the cause of any relationship that matters; this is the main reason I hate the “I interpret Sam and Frodo as gay” approach).
So I had this very thought because as I’m reading the comments, it seems everyone is under the assumption that because she is a lesbian who is moved by a tale of sisterhood that it is automatically giving off inappropriate incest vibes. If she is serious about not focusing on romance, then I think it’s fine but, I’m tired of the woke nonsense being in films. I’m a female, I don’t need a bunch of Misandry and girl power crap in movies. It’s annoying. You should see the character changes they did to Sokka, Suki, and June in the live action Netflix series of Avatar the last Airbender. It’s very apparent they made changes not to offend the woke 3rd wave feminists but it was awful writing that prevented character growth that they had in the original. And they changed the heterosexual lovers of the secret tunnel episode to lesbians.
The director's clearly referring to Elsa being the one to save Anna at the end, not Kristoff. The Acolyte will also focus on twin sisters, so these comments make sense in that context.
Lovely. "Grown-Ass Woman". Super professional delivery there. Also - very interesting that a movie you watched gave you the idea for this "original" story that has already been done.
Ewwww! Nasty evil deek! My 4 year old granddaughter runs around in her Elsa costume all the time with pure innocence. This woman needs to be on a watch list.
Star wars will never be the same. Thank you, George Lucas, for an iconic "STAR WARS " in 1977 that can never be changed. That I witnessed in the Theater at 11 years old.
The way she's talking about people sympathizing with the villain and the love interest between 2 women really makes me think she is going to have both the good guy and bad guy in the show (which are both girls) be ex lovers where the one girl turned to the dark side. It wouldn't suprise me what so ever if that is what its about, and the whole point of the show is to try to make the villain seem likena good guy who had a bad day. Sounds exactly like something someone would write nowadays, especially Disney.
This woman needs termination. So the producer saw frozen thought how interpersonal family relationships and healing work. Then thought a child movie needs to have sexual expressions. Then thought about corrupting Star Wars a series about heroism, good vs evil morals, for sexual tone progress. Both producers need termination.
Star Wars = space wizards + galactic politics + war + personal struggles + a LITTLE bit of romance. Anything else annoys the core sci-fi fanbase and if they don't talk positively about it then the wider mainstream audience don't watch it. With any nerdy genre YOU NEED TO PLEASE THE FANS FIRST! They then bring everyone else on board.
If you cry an entire movie especially frozen than you’re depressed mate. Who knows maybe even guilty (cough... Weinstein... cough) honestly I did cry at the end of return of the Jedi and I know it was the depression of losing my dad! It was our movie.

@@RacingSnails64 that must be how she thought! Like who in their right mind thinks that?! She definitely doesn't know what love is with how twisted her views are
@@bored..3914 pretty sure she helped Epstein
When people want to change what you loved about a series I like to go back and read some of the books. Darth Bane’s trilogy has a lot of action and explains the Sith concepts pretty well. I also been told to read everything to do with Thrawn and the scramble for galactic stability when the empire fell. Id recommend those and I feel like you can never go wrong with old republic stuff. There is so much of it for everyone to enjoy. These stories tend to enhance Star Wars as a whole instead of pushing one message at the cost of a developed story.
Agreed..Bane trilogy was great..I would recommend X-wing series , republic commando series, and anything by Timothy Zahn ( he does Thrawn )..to me this will always be canon..not this new shit they are pumping out
If you don't want to watch it: "YoU gUYs aRe JuSt hOMopHobEs!". Nope I just don't like watching fanfic side stories.
Clearly it was all about a sexual relationship in her eyes. Tell me without telling me Ms. Forehead Headland.
Won't be getting my straight money! 😁
Leslye Hedlund should not be in charge of anything star wars bc she isn't interested in telling a Star Wars story. She is telling her story that just happens to have a Star Wars backdrop
A sisters love and a (hetero)sexual ie gender based relationship is two different things.
It's like they don't even want our money, anymore? They keep making stuff they know will tank, and then double-down harder. Whyyy does a *"business"* keep throwing away money? 😅
Money laundry? I don't know. Nothing makes sense
She really expects us to believe she cried during the entire movie Frozen?
No I believe it. Queers are a bunch of softies 😂
OMG I’m so excited…….to NEVER watch this piece of agenda pushing trash. My Star Wars ended in my childhood. This new stuff isn’t Star Wars it should be called gender wars.
Thats it star wars has turned into a story inspired BY FROZEN 😭
fanfics are getting movies now? great.
I hate it🤣
Her next movie is going to be a live-action movie about Peppermint Patty and Marci and their enduring, but complex relationship.
If she wanted to tell a queer story atound women then why not go make that type of movie and leave Star War alone.
star wars: rise of the girlboss
star wars:she/her/them menace
star wars: rise of the transgenderism
star wars: rise of the unicorn indoctrination
Don't forget the Empi-her Strikes Back.
Disney is going to regret this financially.
The writing can't be much worse than any other Star Wars movie after the trilogy. Great universe, terrible stories (The Mandalorian excluded).
That’s a dude in a pink blazer.
That's what I thought. Why is everyone saying she
Flogging a dead horse comes to mind with Disney star wars
N E X T ?!?!???!! LEMME GIT A CHAIR...🙄😏
Bha ha ha ha ha ha !! Told ya I was gonna steal it, "lemme git a chair"... LOVE IT!?? Should be our saying w/ eyes rolling🙄🙄🙄🙄😂😂 priceless that woman should make t-shirts for the rest of us ,oh yeah & caps!! Best seller!!❤😮😂😀🤝👍🤝🤝🤝!!
No wonder Walt is spinning in his grave!!!!
To quote the Lorax: “THAT’S a woman?!”
All the good movie franchises being destroyed by this stupidity
GET THIS WOMANS HANDS OF STAR WARS ! NOW !
All of this subverting of a great, established franchise/ universe to push an agenda completely repulsed me and i will never watch anything Disney again unless they do a complete turnaround from pushing everything woke and pandering.
Listening to her makes me cry!!
So we are doing this BS again, aren't we?
Less egotistical show runner, more talented writers please.
Oh whada know, they're continuing to Fu€k up star wars.
This woman is a walking talking stereotype!
Perfectly stated, Amala.
I can tell she BELIEVES she is awesome
so this is a glorified fanfic?
The director's clearly referring to Elsa being the one to save Anna at the end, not Kristoff. The Acolyte will also focus on twin sisters, so these comments make sense in that context.
Lovely. "Grown-Ass Woman". Super professional delivery there. Also - very interesting that a movie you watched gave you the idea for this "original" story that has already been done.
Time for Elon Musk to Buy Lucasfilm
Luke, I am your- no, call me Daddy
Luke. . . i heard your sister kissed you. Thats gross.
She kind of looks like her former boss, like a dog looks like it's owner.
Why take something pure like the love between sisters and turn it into something weird
When I watched frozen as a grown ass woman, I thought, this is a bad script. Far less interesting than Tangled.
Ewwww! Nasty evil deek! My 4 year old granddaughter runs around in her Elsa costume all the time with pure innocence. This woman needs to be on a watch list.
These butch bikes are the worst, they ruin everything they touch
It's like a bad form of plagiarism !
These people repulse me.
Star wars will never be the same.
Thank you, George Lucas, for an iconic "STAR WARS " in 1977 that can never be changed. That I witnessed in the Theater at 11 years old.
In a dumpster fire far far away.
She didn’t care about frozen give me a break
Nooooooo! Come on, I was excited for The Acolyte, but not any more😭
The way she's talking about people sympathizing with the villain and the love interest between 2 women really makes me think she is going to have both the good guy and bad guy in the show (which are both girls) be ex lovers where the one girl turned to the dark side.
Love the way you break down all the rhetoric so well and present the narrative in such clear terms. 😊😊 Thank you.
