My favourites were the Bestie bag (just made one for a friend with a water resistant lining in case she uses it in the rain or spills anything in it), the flight suit and the McCalls dress. Love the D rings and the connection to your beloved dogs (they’ll walk with you won’t they?) and I found it’s really not so difficult to get in and out of. A summery one would be great too - I’m planning a sleeveless one. Love your navy dress too - I really regret the double seams in my velvet one though as the seams are way too bulky but yours looks absolutely stunning! The Asha dress looks great on you, especially the colour! I think deeper colours suit you so well! Even better than lighter ones, IMO. However, if you don't feel comfortable in it just as it is, it makes sense to alter it. Shorter/ sleeveless, as you say, but I think the sleeves look great; maybe change it to a more open neckline to give you some space and show a bit more skin?

Thanks so much Elizabeth. Ooooh the coatigan in mauve will look amazing. The only advice I have re the bag - is just take it slowly, and anywhere that is thicker - start by turning the hand wheel instead of the pressure foot, so you have more control. Hope that helps. Thank you 🥰

Out of curiosity, did you wear your Asher dress with your hair down? You might try it with your hair work up to see if you like it better. It will lighten the while look. The pictures on the pattern actually do something similar - hair down with the sleeveless version, and an advice the shoulder style with the sleeved
Spooky I’m about to cut that McCall dress out. Did you ignore the double stitch line instructions and just overlock and did you put sleeves in on the flat?
The blue jersey dress is so shapley that it makes sense to limit the pattern measurements. You can wear it, but on many bodies it would not be flattering. I think the back slit would look more classy if it were less close to the derrière, just sayin’ cuz you generally have a tasteful garment style.
I see your problem with the green dress. Although it looks the right size it drowns you and makes you look quite matronly. Your style comes out with the flight suite. As to the Bestie, I’ve made three of them, two matching my coats. It’s so good to catch up peoples looks, if they get it right.
