You can just sit a bottle of crystallised honey in warm water for it to be usable, the enzymes will not denature in warm water. The important beneficial enzymes in honey will denature at temps around 40°C and higher

also: if your honey crystallizes and you don’t want to whip it, you can put it in a double boiler setup (It helps to keep honey in glass or ceramic containers bc the weight keeps it from floating up, but you can also weigh it down by setting a cutting board or something on top) and simmer the water for a bit until it’s mostly melted back into liquid form. Use heat-safe gloves or oven mitts to remove the honey containers from the double boiler and swirl gently so the hot liquid can finish melting down the leftover crystals. Then just let it cool completely and it’s good to use again.
She mentioned in the video she didn't want to heat the honey up too much because heat kills the beneficial properties in honey. But if you'd throw it out vs. doing this method, definitely melt it instead

There’s so much left in there! I like to use what’s left in the jar for tea or a recipe. All you gotta do is suck up the hot water into it and shake vigorously until it all disobeys and you squeeze it into whatever you need it for.

when my bananas get really brown, i peel them and put them in a ziploc and put them in the freezer for smoothies. when my bread gets stale, i cut it and bake it for croutons or blend it for breadcrumbs. always try to buy things you can use to make other things w that SINGLE ingredient just incase. for example when it comes to greens i usually get spinach and kale as you can pop spinach into almost anything (smoothies, omlettes, sandwhiches, etc) and if i dont eat my kale fast enough i can turn them into chips. i also suggest people do light food science research and buy ingredients (especially seasonings) everytime they go to the store. that way you can switch up flavors and what youre eating. if you learn how to do simple baking things it can elevate your breakfast game SO much. also frozen veggies and fruits are your friend! also dried fruit! ofc you can have regular fruit and veg but dried/frozen can save on time and waste! and you can be more inclined to eat it when you dont have to prepare it! add dried strawberries to your salads or blend them into a powder for frosting, add chopped mixed veggies to a pan w day old rice for fried rice, use frozen berries w sugar to make an easy simple syrup for your pancakes. you can do SO much with what you have in your fridge you just dont know what to do bc no ones shown you and everything is overly convient nowadays, but thats costing you money.

Few things you probably should've Googled before making this video. One - crusty honey can be returned to it's non-crusty state fairly easily without whipping it (so it's not whip it or toss it). Two- the attachment you used is a whisk, it's used for whisking stuff, so yes it was the correct one, the others will do next to nothing if you're trying to incorporate air into something. It's commonly used for eggs, meringue, mousse, whipped cream or to emulsify ingredients like mayonnaise and salad dressing. The two others that normally come with a kitchenaid are the dough hook, and the flat beater. The dough hook is used to kneed any kind of dough that kneeds it (ex. Pasta and bread dough). The flat beater (the other one you held up) is used when making cakes, brownies or cookies. Flat beaters can also be used to pull pork, mash potatoes, make fresh guacamole or mix up ingredients for things like meatballs. You could have just boiled some water and placed the container in the water off the heat for a few minutes and it would have looked completely “normal” again. The sugar in honey crystallizes time. You just have to re-melt it.
I actually purposely crystalize my honey when I get it. I mix in already creamed honey (not the same as whipped. Creamed honey is a controlled crystallization using a smoother crystal starter) in a 1 to 10 ratio and let it sit for a week or longer and you have crystalized creamed honey you can easily spread and isn't those jagged sharp crystals you get if its left to crystalize on it's own. Just remember to use a wide mouth jar so you can get a spoon in there.

PSA: I don't know who needs to hear this, but another reason why y'all's honey is probably crystallizing is because you're using A METAL SPOON to scoop it out. the wooden honey dipper was created for this reason, as wood doesn't interact with the natural enzymes in honey. ever since I started pouring my honey jars instead of using a spoon to scoop it I haven't had a single honey jar crystalize. you'll only see tiny crystals around the top edges where the glucose is being separated the most from the 20% water in honey. hope this helps someone!

Mix that with butter. 1:1 ratio. Add a little salt and there you go, whipped honey butter.

Crystallized honey is one of the best spreads you can have. I don’t care if you whip it like this, but if you’re just throwing it out instead of scraping and using it that’s sad.

a lot of people think im gross for this but i really like this one local honey and its so expensive because of the flowers they use, so i bit the bullet and payed like $100 for a big container and i just remelt it when it crystallizes, ive had the same jar for over a year but if you keep it right honey is one of the few foods that has a high enough sugar content it doesnt expire

Those bear honey containers actually have the cheapest and worst kind of honey, basically no health benefits at all 💔 And they are usually mixed with fructose syrup. It’s a shame because they are cute containers. I always end up going to a farmer’s market for the good honey that I use whenever sick or looking for benefits! Plus local honey is so good for you.

Just put it in a warm water bath and it will all melt. My dad was a beekeeper for over 15 years. There's nothing wrong with crystalized honey
honey does not go bad , they have found honey in tombs in egypt over 1000s of years old and it was still good.
