OMG FR hooded eyes are the worst😣(I have them) n it sucks how I can never do like thick top eyeliner bc it always looks so good on other people but it'll just smudge if I do it on my eyes or a nice dramatic eyeshadow look bc it just doesn't work on me *cries*

Here I am four months later still trippin on this look. I loved this video, this is the Jaclyn we love that explains everything and tells us why we do each step. This is definitely a great tutorial that even shows tricks on how to fix boo boos! In my eyes this can even be worn as a winter look. It is breath-taking, hope it works on my medium tan skin and dark brown- almost black eyes!

I use the concealer by nars in custard and every time I use it under my eye, it looks horrible. It looks dry and just gross. I use a damp beauty blender but I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I use it on my forehead and it just doesn't blend very well. I have extremely sensitive and dry skin so idk what to do. Anyone have this problem or know of good concealed for my skin type?
I'm no where near as talented as Jaclyn but I have the same problem and noticed it set a lot better with a translucent or brightening powder!! Hope this helped haha
I've heard youtubers say that sometimes their under eye area is dry and it helps to get a very moisturizing eye cream and put it on a while before they do their makeup and either let it soak in or wipe some off before you do anything else! Hope this helps!
I HAVE A VERY IMPORTANT QUESTION... I only have one eye shadow brush and its nothing really fancy or anything (it actually came in this makeup kit I got for like, 15 bucks near Christmas) and I don't own very fancy makeup. I own cover girl concealer and everything else is either from a makeup kit I got for like 15 to 20 bucks or something my mom had gotten a while ago and didn't want. I don't have much money and im not allowed to wear foundation and all that.. what do I do if I have one very simple eye shadow brush and not very fancy makeup? will it work the same or not? can someone please reply.. I _really_ need to know this as soon as possible.
you don't need expensive makeup and brushes to do your makeup. I do not spend lots of money on mind and it does the job. My channel is called "Everything Beauty on a Budget" you should check it out.

I ordered my daughter and I some sigma brushes off your reccomendations. I knew they had a lot of hype in the youtube world. but when I got them in the mail they were already shedding like crazy, also felt like they didn't have enough hair.. they also messed up my order with some things. sigma claims they make them hand crafted, but it said "made in china" on the brushes.. they definitely weren't worth my 150$. I honestly wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
So sorry to hear that! I ordered some last year because Jaclyn raved about them and I haven't had any issues! I have heard that some people have issues with shedding but I personally did not...... Have you contacted them since ordering? The brushes I own I love and they are really good brushes but if you are looking for other ones elf makes very good brushes and for the price you can't really beat it.
But the more I wash them with the cleaning glove &mild soap the more they shed.they did tell me that I can return them so that's good. Maybe I just got some defective ones I ordered 7 of them &the cleaning glove.
Yeah it's possible you just got some bad brushes before I ordered mine I had looked at a ton of reviews and some people said they got bad brushes but when they sent them back they get some more and said they were just fine. So you could always just return those and get more or just return them and purchase some else where. (: I hope everything works out and you get some awesome brushes!!! (:

Janet J I highly recommend makeup geek shadows & maybelline lipstick in the shade "nude lust" or "blushing nude" from their nudes collection if u want a similar color to what Jaclyn used here
OMG FR hooded eyes are the worst😣(I have them) n it sucks how I can never do like thick top eyeliner bc it always looks so good on other people but it'll just smudge if I do it on my eyes or a nice dramatic eyeshadow look bc it just doesn't work on me *cries*

***** I feel ya too. As an MUA I do winged liner on clients all the time. But i never wear it myself because it makes my eyes look so small &just not flattering on me at all (I have hooded eyes).

Here I am four months later still trippin on this look. I loved this video, this is the Jaclyn we love that explains everything and tells us why we do each step. This is definitely a great tutorial that even shows tricks on how to fix boo boos! In my eyes this can even be worn as a winter look. It is breath-taking, hope it works on my medium tan skin and dark brown- almost black eyes!
this is by far my favorite tutorial! I love all your tutorials, but I really love this one. please please do more bold "out of the norm" videos. OMG YES!!!!! I was googling about some Milani product last Summer (I found Stefanie Lohrey ) reviewing it. Then everything just exploded. Now I watch about 5 girls religiously; ***** and KathleenLights Nicole Guerriero Desi Perkins and Stefanie ;) mainly! and my makeup collection that used to fit in maybe 3 drawers- now takes up MANY, MANY drawers, a vanity & quite a few acrylic organizers!! ;D

Alicia Deen Elcie Cosmetics says that the shade Honey matches an NC30, so I definitely wouldn't go for that if you're a 42. Check out their post and see if that helps:

I was literally a crazy person for a few hours, trying to figure out my shade lol...
I use the concealer by nars in custard and every time I use it under my eye, it looks horrible. It looks dry and just gross. I use a damp beauty blender but I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I use it on my forehead and it just doesn't blend very well. I have extremely sensitive and dry skin so idk what to do. Anyone have this problem or know of good concealed for my skin type?

I've heard youtubers say that sometimes their under eye area is dry and it helps to get a very moisturizing eye cream and put it on a while before they do their makeup and either let it soak in or wipe some off before you do anything else! Hope this helps!

I HAVE A VERY IMPORTANT QUESTION...
I only have one eye shadow brush and its nothing really fancy or anything (it actually came in this makeup kit I got for like, 15 bucks near Christmas) and I don't own very fancy makeup. I own cover girl concealer and everything else is either from a makeup kit I got for like 15 to 20 bucks or something my mom had gotten a while ago and didn't want.
I don't have much money and im not allowed to wear foundation and all that.. what do I do if I have one very simple eye shadow brush and not very fancy makeup? will it work the same or not?
can someone please reply.. I _really_ need to know this as soon as possible.

I ordered my daughter and I some sigma brushes off your reccomendations. I knew they had a lot of hype in the youtube world. but when I got them in the mail they were already shedding like crazy, also felt like they didn't have enough hair.. they also messed up my order with some things. sigma claims they make them hand crafted, but it said "made in china" on the brushes.. they definitely weren't worth my 150$. I honestly wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
they also didn't give me a receipt for my order.
So sorry to hear that! I ordered some last year because Jaclyn raved about them and I haven't had any issues! I have heard that some people have issues with shedding but I personally did not...... Have you contacted them since ordering? The brushes I own I love and they are really good brushes but if you are looking for other ones elf makes very good brushes and for the price you can't really beat it.

But the more I wash them with the cleaning glove &mild soap the more they shed.they did tell me that I can return them so that's good. Maybe I just got some defective ones I ordered 7 of them &the cleaning glove.
Yeah it's possible you just got some bad brushes before I ordered mine I had looked at a ton of reviews and some people said they got bad brushes but when they sent them back they get some more and said they were just fine. So you could always just return those and get more or just return them and purchase some else where. (: I hope everything works out and you get some awesome brushes!!! (:
