    Can u do a video on the benefits of hot shoeing vs cold shoeing?

    • @garyhuston
      @garyhuston  4 года назад +4

      David Cannon I wouldn’t have enough to say on a video. It’s just easier hot. The shoe shapes easier, foot prep is easier and less time bent down! That’s about it.

      I spent 35 years shoeing mostly cold then I bought the land rover which was already kitted out with hot gear. I started and wished I had been doing it for all those years! My body might not be so knackered if i'd been hot shoeing all that time!

      Gilles Cordier oh, you mean a nail puller! I have a set thick with rust in the bottom of my box, I never find I need to use them, what are they really for?

    • @gillescordier8033
      @gillescordier8033 5 лет назад

      Gary Huston To pull off individual nails by their head leveraging the tool against the crease. As you know, some horses are sensitive when leveraging the shoes off the sole with the pull-offs...

    • @garyhuston
