    Note to cops: without camera it's hard to tell where buckshot came from.

    If someone messes with your property and security there is no reason to trust them, they likely intend to harm you, and they've already proven that they have no regard for you or your rights.

    What intentions would there be behind destroying a home camera? How honorable are these intentions?

    If I enclose my porch with a lockig porch door does that area become protected like the inside of my house. If so why wouldn't a chest high fence around my yard with a locked gate count as part of my protected residence? Great video. Keep em coming!

    But police lie about warrants and having exigent circumstances, and once we open the door or talk to them, we have given up our rights.. nothing happens to them, and even if we are innocent of something we still lose

    I enjoy the way you present the scenarios and your advice for dealing with government overreach. I have a question about extended occupation of the curtilage of a home by police officers. The scenario is that police officers enter a yard and stand before the front door without warrant or exigent circumstance. The officers refuse to leave after being trespassed verbally from the premises and remain after 10 minutes of silence. Would it be wise to call the Sheriff’s office or state police to have the local officers formally trespassed?

  • @RvnKnight
    @RvnKnight 10 дней назад +7

    That's why you don't report it to the same department. If it is in the city you report it to the sheriff's department. In the county you report it to either the constable (if you have one) or State Police. If it's the State Police/Troopers you report it to the AG office, or, such as in Texas, you can report it to the Texas Rangers. Regardless, you can report any infractions to the State Inspector General.
    Note, while the Texas Rangers are also Texas State Troopers, they are a special investigation department and have full jurisdiction across the State unlike the regular Troopers who are assign to specific Troops.

  • @meetupspeakup4161

    This is so true, in certain counties and states. As an American citizen, you can make a public complaint as a citizen or a Pro se. But the complaint will be devalued. Unless you have an attorney.
    This is why,
    most police violations are not reported. Because most complainers are deprived of their 14th Amendment (Due process) .
    Now, imagine being a female person of color, reporting a violation against a caucasian cop to a maga loyalty prosecutor. Here my question; What is the polnt of electing ineffective police commissioners ....Think about it

    Suing cops, police departments and federal law suits are nice, but the problem is that cops are not being held accountable for their actions, that is the part people are frustrated with, because if the cop isn't personally held accountable he/she is just going to do it to someone else.

    Cops would surely consider covering a security camera to be suspicious behavior. Why should we think any different? They should be banned from blocking or altering a private camera in any way without legal grounds to do so.
    Ask yourself, objectively, why they're so against transparency.

    I heard this rumor in a game chat, and I have no idea if it’s true or not that this guy‘s neighbor kept falsely reporting him and calling the cops on him and because she was a woman the cops were afraid of a lawsuit she was known to be the Karen of the neighborhood so the cops never did anything to her, but kept trying to come to this guy‘s house cause a bunch of problems and I have to spend a bunch of money on lawyer fees and winning an actual lawsuit against the department they wouldn’t stop so he told them that he was installing a special cameras to record the harassment whenever he wasn’t there so he could keep suing them and getting more money the cops didn’t like to hear that, so he installed one secret camera and had the decoy one set up he has them on camera, destroying his decor ring camera, but what he put on it was a lot of icy, hot and itch powder. So you had these two cops who kept complaining their hands were hot and it wouldn’t stop itchingafter failing to press charges because the ADA wouldn’t prosecute, against the man and after failing to get their lawsuit on the record, the guy sued them again one and then they started leaving him alone lol

  • @kerryedavis
    @kerryedavis 10 дней назад

    They'll just claim to have exigent circumstances and nobody will do anything about it later. These cops need prison, not lawsuits. They don't pay lawsuits themselves, and they don't learn anything from lawsuits. Maybe they'll learn something from prison.
    Or 2a, whichever.
    p.s. Before people start saying Abolish Qualified Immunity! that's largely irrelevant. First, QI only applies to civil lawsuits, not criminal prosecution, And, Even without QI they're usually indemnified, which means they still pay nothing themselves. Also, for example, Colorado officially abolished QI but also set a very low cap: $25k as I recall. But they're not indemnified for prison. Nobody is going to get locked up for them.

    I’m not a lawyer, but I didn’t state a holiday in express last night. Just kidding. I think that when an officer does this it should constitute obstruction or destruction of evidence. Everything that came in records during a police interaction is now evidence. And any attempt to block it stop it destroy it, should be a crime. Plus your camera on your property whether you’re holding it or not, it should also be a violation of your rights of the color of law, a federal crime.

    What in the world is he talking about? 😂 Report what violation? Oh yes that statute called “violation of putting hand in front of camera” hahaha. It’s fine if you don’t want to answer the door but let’s not also pretend the cop committed some crime either. The mailman could do the same thing. Cops are literally trained on where by a door to stand because they get shot and killed. It’s reasonable they don’t want that known so they can be shot through the door. It’s also reasonable if the resident doesn’t want to open the door. This video is a waste of breath. Both sides did nothing wrong and both sides are free to do what they are doing.
