Cuz W/O you there definitely would be no me...
That’s for the information. Im also here in Houston. And have my Design company. I rarely do tshirts but design and print everything else. But when I do. I always look around for new ways to do shirts..
Hi, Delonda, I’m going to share pictures of the tumbler that I subbed yesterday. It turned out so pretty. I’m keeping it for myself since I was just getting more practice. I used the thermometer that you place inside the air fryer oven instead of the temperature gun that you point to the inside of the oven. I’m glad I ordered it. It came 2 per pack. Turned out, with the air fryer set to convection technology, the thermometer registered at 500 degrees! No wonder I ruined a few before I figured out that I didn’t have to leave them in for 5 minutes. So I lowered the temperature to 350 degrees and increased the time to 6 minutes, turning it at 3 minutes. I got the same beautiful results as when it sublimated at 500 degrees for 2.5 minutes. I think I like the faster time process. 😂 Please let me know what you think.
I am late to this party but I am in charge of making t-shirts for a crafting get-a-way and I was researching to see if it was less expensive to order the transfer or buy the vinyl I need (multi color) and make it piece mail. I was also researching if it would be difficult to apply. You answered both of my questions. Thank you. Your video is great.
Love everyone of your videos! Your smile is so contagious, I forgot I'm even there learning something new! Can't wait to try all these ideas after I get through some medical stuff. Thank u so much!
Oh Delonda, can you believe that I got tears in my eyes when you peeled that paper off the image? 🥹 I can't believe how good that looks and how easy it was for you to make. I have been struggling with various methods and on multiple blanks just to get one right. I've got the white polyester down, but that's a given. The only problem I have with that is finding polyester shirts. However, THIS is a game changer. Thank you so much for teaching us about this paper and using this method on cotton... I LOVE IT!! ❤️❤️❤️ I just hope my prints look as good as yours. Thanks again and keep up the good work. 🤗🤗🤗
Thank you so much! I purchase all of my DTF Transfers from Atlanta Vinyl because they are excellent quality and I get a discount. Here is my link and discount code if you need it atlantavinylstore.com/?ref=AziPtTzZ and the code is DELONDA
@Crafting with Delonda Thank you so much, Delonda. I did go to the website and noticed something different from the rest. They don't sell blank DTF transfer sheets, do they? So if we want something specific, we order it, they make it and send it to us? I would prefer to print my own at home, but I may be wrong. Am I missing something?
Thank you! It is my understanding that it is at least good for 50 washes. I have washed all of my DTF prints multiple times and I have not noticed any changes at all withe the color.
@@CraftingwithDelonda Very good to know. Thank you and thanks again for the awesome tutorial video. Your son has good taste in classic horror films. :)
I didn't even know this existed! Thank you for this video. It was great. I was getting ready to have to make 25 shirts with two colors of vinyl until you said they will make custom DTF transfer sheets for you. Have you ordered a custom one before? I was wondering about how pricey it was for an XL?
I really love DTF transfers, use them all the time but I'm very interested in sublimation. Considering you have experience with both, which do you think is better? DTF is quick and easy but if I can save $4-5 for that one sheet and print it for $1.
Oooooh, that is a tough question. In all honesty, I love the vibrancy of sublimation; but I do not like to wear white. So, whenever I want to use sublimation ink on dark colors, of course I have to use a hack and that can be costly. Both have their benefits. With the DTF, I can use any color fabric and still get big, bold, beautiful results.
This was so interesting to see I have not really got into dtf there are so many different great things that is coming out I cannot keep up but at any rate thank you for mentioning about the htv ront auto heat press because as you said when inserting a pressing pillow in your garment it really does help with the pressure I love my htv ront auto heat press. Great video ❤happy new year to you and your families
Hi Delonda, I found ur channel recently when looking for help with heat transfers…I had no idea until this video that ur in Houston!! Been looking for crafting buddies near me, I’m in Houston as well! One of these days we should meet!! Kristen
At the end when you peel off the transfer in our left with the film, do you put the film back on and press it with the Teflon sheet or do you throw away the film and just press it?
This answers my questions, I just want some shirts for myself (well I guessssss my husband and kid) I found an Easy Press for $50 on market place and just want to buy some transfers that are ready to go.
Hi there and thank you! My suggestions regarding heat presses is to purchase a clam shell if space is a consideration. Also, get the biggest one you can afford.
Is there a machine not so pricey that you recommend that i can purchase to use at home or you can only send the design off for someone else to print the dtf?
Hey (country woman )Dalonda question for you when you fold your hoodie(the ones without zippers)to find center do your pockets line up or wound that be a design flaw

Oh and what is the code for Atlanta as I'm not good at electronics. I'm a Nanny so hard for me to use certain objects. I Truly Appreciate your videos, Thank you. Ms. Thompson
Hi there and thank you. That's a great question. I'm really not sure. I just always order the XL because I want the print to fill up my shirt. I would think a smaller size DTF print would be perfect for shirts up to size medium. I hope that helps.

Do DTF transfers feel heavy on a shirt sort of like a large vinyl picture on a shirt would. I like Sublimation because the color is in the fabric and not on top but curious about DTF.
I noticed that you placed the sweatshirt sideways under the press. I had tried to press a handbag on a heat press and I couldn't close it. Should I press them sideways??
I would say no; because you can't really tell the temperature of the iron. If you are still undecided about which heat press to get, start with a mini press until you can get the biggest heat press you can afford.

So you didn’t have to use no powder
Hi thanks for the great video!
Are the dtf transfers only good for 1 shirt? Or can you reuse the same design on multiple shirts?
How do you prevent pressing marks around your designs? Sublimation, vinyl, etc??
You can tear the paper instead of allowing your machine to cut it. Also, you can use a pressing pillow and decrease the pressure.
You may have answered this all ready, but did you print your image with an ink jet printer? Thank you.
This is a transfer that I purchased.
Hi Delonda, I found ur channel recently when looking for help with heat transfers…I had no idea until this video that ur in Houston!! Been looking for crafting buddies near me, I’m in Houston as well! One of these days we should meet!! Kristen

How wide is your image? Was the sweat shirt's pocket get in the way of pressing?
I'm not sure about the width. I ordered the largest size DTF Transfer that they offer.

With this dtf transfer you don’t need white vinyl under it?
I order from Atl vinyl also and they recommend 300 not 325. Do you recommend 325 instead?
Are the dtf transfers that you put on glass the same as the ones you put on tshirts?
Nope. It's my understanding that those are UV DTF transfers.
Hi Delonda! I love your delivery method! I was wondering how do you determine what size design to get? Is there a cheat sheet based on shirt sizes?
Hi there and thank you. That's a great question. I'm really not sure. I just always order the XL because I want the print to fill up my shirt. I would think a smaller size DTF print would be perfect for shirts up to size medium. I hope that helps.

I noticed that you placed the sweatshirt sideways under the press. I had tried to press a handbag on a heat press and I couldn't close it. Should I press them sideways??
Yes, I would say to try it different ways, but just make sure you have even pressure.
So you buy the DTF pre-made from the Atlanta store? All you need to do is buy the shirt and use your heat press?
Yes! That's exactly right.
What do you have your heat press sitting on?
I don't have a heat press machine. Can you use an iron with DTF?
