Qual is underrated af. He quickly analyze the defensive spell after 1 contact, and later realize its weakness because some of fern shield spell broke up after got hit by his zoltrack, thats where he decided to use the "kamehameha" beam to overwhelm her shield. His downfall is not because of he failed to counter the defensive spell, it is because he didn't know flying spell already got mastered by the mankind. U got to be kidding? It's obvious Frieren could've just blasted Qual right away after he revived. Frieren just wanted to teach Fern a lesson about mana shield that's why he let Qual attack her and rub it in Qual's face that he's not that big dog anymore, I mean did she have to tell Qual a history lesson about the past 80 years if she wasn't sure he's just a little kitten to her now. Man did you watch it?
@@tlde4787 did you even watch the fight? Qual was able to successfully decipher the weakness of a spell created to directly hard counter him and his kit in mere minutes of being unsealed. Of the most interesting things in Frieren is the concept that people's personal magics are a reflection of their personalities and desires. That applies to both human and demon. Aura's ability forces submission on her opponents through mana - reinforcing an iron hard belief in the ultimate hierarchy of mana. Linnea had the ability to learn and mimic the abilities of those she observed - showcasing a personality that acknowledged others strengths and the potential for growth. Ubel's blades are relentless but short range, showcasing her sadism and bloodthirst. And Macht... Preserves. In gold, the appearance of value, and indestructible. It is telling that he petrifies El Dorado immediately after realizing that he is going to have to watch his human friend and conspirator die of age... lugner did not recognize Fern's zoltraak because hers are fundamentally different to the ones used by the wider human race. Fern's zoltraak is custom made and taught to her by Frieren who tuned it to specialise on killing demons that their countermeasures didn't work at all and most demons would have killed in one hit by Fern's zoltraak. Lugner is actually an outlier and able to survive the shot even though he is a not a greater demon at all (he also recognizes this and told Linie as well). Normal human mage zoltraak has already overcame by demons for decades already at that point cause the demons also evolved to continue preying on humans.
Additionally Aura's downfall is not because of her carelessness as her being fooled by Frieren is an unprecedented unlucky match up, as against 99.99% of humanity (including elfs) she will win the mana dikk measuring contest. She even made the countermeasure just in case going against someone that have more mana than her by whittling down their mana through battle of attrition against her army of living armors wasting her opponent's mana. Just her luck ran out when she met one of the 3 people that are the bane of all demon's magic/mana detection and has much much stronger mana than her. Most humans doesn't train their whole life limiting their mana as they don't have enough talent like Flamme do to both train that and their magic techniques at the same time, nor the lifetime of elves like Frieren or Serie do. So most humans will have mana fluctuations when they try to hide their mana's true strength and so most humans won't train that techniques. Even if they tried, due to their limitation of lifespan and talent makes their disguise easily uncovered as even Frieren is surprised the level of mana detection of Aura's. While Frieren only have been caught twice in her life by the demon king himself and Serie's current best disciple, mage of the first class (may also be the strongest human mage currently alive until Fern grew up to be stronger later). While Himmel only relies on his gut feelings/instinct like how Frieren knows Flamme is a very strong mage. Edit: additionally I only said 3 cause so far cause Fern doesn't have high enough mana as she is still in her teenage years. Amount of mana increases due to latent talent and constant training combined, so time also contribute a lot on the increase of mana amount. So right now while Fern might be better at hiding her mana than Frieren is, she will need more years to be able to be equals to or kill a greater demon alone without help/coordiation with other party members.
Yeah even solitar got one shotted by fern’s long distance zoltraak. (To be fair it was in a battle and solitaire was already battered while fighting Frieren but it was still a one shot one kill hit because of the distance and solitar didn’t have a barrier up.)
I do love how the styles of every mage in the show are so different: Frieren is particularly talented with dispelling and protection magic, Fern is a roguish mage who focus on sneak attacking opponents, Solitair summons energy weapons, etc.
Macht of El Dorado was the peak for me so far (Solitär kinda belongs with this arc). Very interested to see the possible return of the demons faced in the recent chapter. I doubt Solitär will reappear after the time loop, but all the others lived
Well... also one of Aura judgement scale loophole is... It judges it subjects fairly... Which is quite a awkward loophole of a weapon for war/domination purpose. Guess her pride of having larger mana than most human also took part of why she ignores that loophole.
Well the most part it works cause humans that can outpower her in terms of mana is very few, like 1 in a million kind of chance so her power is enough to kill 99.99% of humans. Additionally, she actually have countermeasures just in case that happens, she whittle her opponents mana down with her army until she is confident she can outpower her opponent. its just Frieren is an outlier. Its like one in a million chance encounter as there are only 3 people who trained their entire lives to hide their true mana level while also having more mana than a greater demon. and the contemporary demons only have encountered Frieren out of them 3. Yeah as a demon she just couldnt grasp soneone can hide their mana. I guess agaisnt someone stronger or with more mana shed fatigue them with her army, thats bê the reason frieren said shed have been trouble If she used the army more
Böse's title is not a mystery at all. He has barrier magic that Frieren herself described as unbreakable (and she only managed break it because of Himmel) so Böse can put anyone who fights him into that barrier and NO ONE can escape and would eventually die from lack of air or water and meal in there and thus making Böse effectively immortal since no one can actually reach him in the first place
That's a strange explanation, hes not a nameless monster indicating there's a human that had been fled from him.even if we disregard that, immortal title seems a bit exaggerated, wouldn't "trapper bose" would fit him the best?
The story is woven together so well. Remember when Fern and Frieren attacked Frieren's copy in that one dungeon and was struck down with a super fast attack that even someone like Fern couldn't see the mana movement of it? I think it waas the mana strike technique Frieren learnt from Solitar, and she probably used it after travelling to the past which was why she said the last time she used it was 80 years ago
It wasn't Solitar's technique. Solitar's spell is a mana strike. It's made of mana, so it's detectable by mana detection. The spell that the Frieren's clone used on Fern could NOT be felt by mana detection, meaning it's not a mana strike. It's something else entirely. It has more in common with Macht's spell, which can not be felt by mana detection either.
@@huytrandang277 I don't think so. In Japanese Fern describes the clone's attack using the same wording as when Frieren describes Macht's spell. So the clone's spell is the same class as Macht's. A spell that can not be detected by mana detection.
Im a big fan of macht.... He was almost there... He can almost understand malice regret and evil...... Not gonna lie... Kinda felt bad for him... But i felt happy that his human apprentice ended him.... Its poetic..
Well, I don't feel bad for him. Sure he tried to understand humans but at the end he didn't even understand the concept of "if you want to live peacefully with humans how about not slaughtering them wherever you go?". It's exactly as Serie said. At the end he was still a monster that had to be killed. Also the story says that at the end he still didn't understand human emotions. So it was basically all in vain.
If only solitar isnt a sadist and mad scientist?... Her melancholy expression and humble village girl outfit is my favorite anime girl design and traits lol.
She isn't a sadist. Demons aren't really even capable of intentional cruelty. Cruelty is a human trait and a completely alien concept to them. She most certainly is a mad scientist, at least from a human perspective. She is a bit like Bondrewd in that she is driven by pure curiosity, all other moral considerations are completely meaningless to her.
@@grim6129 she's the antithesis to her, she by her nature, was fascinated by humans, while frieren needed to meet others to develop a sense of care and understanding for humans. In the end, it's Frieren who sees humans for what they are, and Solitar understanding them no more or less, only fascinated by them and their magic. it's a great contrast.

He's surreal!
The demons orchestrate their own downfall by bringing spells into the world. The human/elf mages then make that downfall as long and slow as possible by being haughty sociopaths/dummies on the same tier, to the point that most significant demon kills in the setting/lore were performed by regular human heroes.
@@maximilianpeklo7575 I mean the sword magic, Frieren also think it was familiar to Solitar's magic during the Eldorado arc. We know her magic was just pure mana control like mana offense and defense as she mentioned it.
Remember Solitär said she was going to help them from a safe distance so she doesn't reveal herself. Also the Miraculous Grausam is a specialist in Mental magic so likely the swords are her own.
I feel like killing off an unusual excentric demon like solitär was a mistake. She still had charakter potential. I hope Tot is gonna be interesting because she hinted that she has the same mind set to magic as Frieren.
thanks for this video, highly appreciate it, hoping we will get more updates in the future esp the surviving sages and the real abilities of the demon king
I think Eisen had a good rematch against Rivale. Remember when Rivale ransacked the warrior village where Stark lives? I'm pretty sure Eisen went there and fought Rivale then took Stark as disciple afterwards.
I think rivale still live and went unkilled. My prediction is that rivale, and that black skin chic demon will be their opponent next arc. And stark will be the one who finally will avenge their village and surpassing his master
Wait wait wait, the narration is actually good. I'm used to there being a much worse narration when there's some monotone voiceover the whole video 😂 and this comes from a channel just called onii chan. Unexpected quality ✅
I can feel that the hypnosis demon,Tpt and schlacht are gonna be a HUGE influence in the future of the manga/anime. There will be a huge war coming I can feel it already shit maybe even the demon king is alive and just weakend and those demons basically out tricked everyone
I like having demons that are irredeemably evil jerks, It's honestly refreshing and uncommon in this day in age where most "demons" are basically just misunderstood humans with horns.
8:45 Not quite. Lugner isn't a german word. But it DOES resemble the German word for liar "Lügner". alternatively, you could write it "Luegner", if the letter Ü is unavailable.
All right Jesus I’ll watch the anime. It does look really cool now that I’ve seen some of the demons only watched a quarter of the video up to 10 minutes but I’m gonna go watch the anime now and I’ll finish the video later. Peace.
I wonder what Tot’s world ending curse is gonna be, will it wipe out all life, will it resurrect all the demons that were killed, or will it turn all humans into demons?
The hero's party killed grausam in another encounter not when frieren go back to the past. It doesn't make sense if they originally killed grausam with future frieren, because the past frieren wouldn't remember anything about it. And as we know frieren tell fern and stark that the hero's party killed grausam in the chapter long before back to the past arc
I'm kind of curious if your voice is made from a voice generator...it sounds like this and would explain the many spelling errors. Don't get me wrong I don't want to be harsh but as a german hearing how you pronounce so many german names with not even being close to the pronounciation makes it hard for me to follow who you even mean by talking about the demons. Especially with Böse your pronounciation sounded so much like a different word that I mostly didn't even recognize you said his name when it was not displayed on screen. I really would like that people give more honest attempts in making the pronounciations of german words correct instead speaking as if they were pronounced as english.... Aside from that it was a really good video.
So I have this theory that the hero of the south wasn't killed by the 7 sages of destruction, but either transmuted by Macht into gold. And if my theory is true, frieren might stumble upon him and will dispel the curse turning him back to normal. Spoilers.. Frieren analyzed and learned how to dispel "Diagoldze" Macht's Magic
19:05 I mean it’s physically impossible it’s like trying to explain color to a blind man some things you can’t understand unless you experience them demons are incapable of feeling most human emotions
Demons are not devoid of emotion, numerous times have they shown them, ofc its dampened but they do display emotions of Rage for instance from episode 10 or sadness at their death, uneasiness with Aura and possibly even disgust
They need a psycotherapist specialized in treating psycopaths (ordinary therapist couldn't because psycopaths are really good at manipulating with words which underminds talk therapy the main way of therapy) [Studies have found people who are high in psycopathy which are prisoned that are treated have significantly lower reincarceration rates than if they were released without it, more than half of them does not return if compared to a control population, either they understand what not to do or maybe they now have real emphaty] As they are not born with an innate understanding of morality, we have to give them the knowledge of it, psycopaths can be moral if you give them principals as they follow them better like a synthetic heart lol "You don't need to know guilt to be moral, follow this guiding principles and stick to the axiom of better coexistence, and you may be good" < for psychos lol We normal humans are taking compassion for granted, as our brains do morality and reflections passively, damn our subsconscious is really powerful They have emotions perhaps missing certain emotions it's likely the inactivity or absence of the amygdala(in our reality) but they don't have emphaty, their nature made it so they are not born with it, probably missing those mirroring neurons However emphaty is just feeling other people's emotions in otherwords resimulation their emotions in our ownselves, it made us feel another's existence It is found that communities with high levels of emphaty are generally more peaceful, healthy, and welcoming, perhaps even act more in those who suffer. I wonder why they haven't tried that or maybe they have tried that, fail but still yearn for a heart. The capability to put a heart in demons, to reforge a heart from a thousand stars, thats what psycotherapist do lol Maybe in frieren's universe only the goddess is good enough to do "soul manipulation" of this caliber
Nice AI video and showing whoever is behind it didn't get anything from the story your Qual explanation already shows this. Frieren was deceiving demons even when she was with the hero's party. As the saying goes to deceive your enemy you first have to deceive your friends. She held back when traveling with the hero party, if there was a mage going around actually killing the sages, the demons would have become more careful and her masters, and her masters masters and her own years of work would be for nothing. She says later on that the only demon that ever could see through her mana was the demon king himself.

demons are monsters. They definitely have emotions like pride and fear, but they can't grasp other emotion like malice or mercy because they are Predators first and it doesn't help you bunt if you feel mercy
@raymondn4718 They are only monsters from human perspectives. They probably don't see themselves as monsters, rather they are living life from their world point of view. They see that there is something wrong with the world, which they are trying to make right.
@@Tugela60 Precisely. They are like the Chimera Ants from Hunter x Hunter. Like Meruem said, do humans spare cows or pigs if the latter cry for mercy? @@calamityreaper400To be prolific enough to be one of the seven sages of destruction but also have no title would be a little weird.
@@1idd0kun I always interpreted what fern said as "it was so fast i couldn't follow it at all"
@@huytrandang277
I don't think so. In Japanese Fern describes the clone's attack using the same wording as when Frieren describes Macht's spell. So the clone's spell is the same class as Macht's. A spell that can not be detected by mana detection.
This doesn't make sense as Frieren didn't meet Solitar till after the exam. Even with time loop hjinks

Not really even in his last moments he couldn't understand humans he will never do
Ma boi Macht being so bored of being on top with no fear of death for so long he even pu that thing on his wrist without hesitation.
She's actually more like Frieren but from the demon's side
@@grim6129 she's the antithesis to her, she by her nature, was fascinated by humans, while frieren needed to meet others to develop a sense of care and understanding for humans. In the end, it's Frieren who sees humans for what they are, and Solitar understanding them no more or less, only fascinated by them and their magic. it's a great contrast.
love solitar

Grausam is death confirmed by frieren
its illusion or not we dont know
grausam and bose killed by himmel party
macht and aura killed by present frieren and denken

damn, we will never see the tall demon girl on the left side (right side of bosse). 16:15
@@rafidzia6463they might show the fight of the hero of the past in some point because they already set up that something there cannot be seen by frieren in the future when they deleted this from scrach memory so they have to show us now in some point
macht will always be my favorite demon in frieren and the fact the former demon king was highly similar to him, I cant wait to know who's the demon king.. when I first saw him, it's my first time seeing a demon so complex and so different from the norms of demons we see in anime, he feels like an alien and I love that about him.
Another Frieren banger. Subbed.
Keep it up!
Thanks!
My theory is that Grausam teaches his magic to Solitar and died in the process so we see her using his magic in El Dorado.
Ah damn, I didn’t think of that. Do you mean her death was only an illusion?
@@maximilianpeklo7575 I wish. Want more Solitar.
This is the first anime that convinced me to read the manga, and now I'm absolutely hooked! Does anyone know when chapter 118 will come out?
it was already out on mangadex

Rivale name being rival is not for eisen, but for stark.
31:42 Yeah, it seems that's Rivale. It seems its up to Stark to face him and I hope to see that in the future.
21:19 after reading the latest chapter ( or 3 chapter before ) of the manga , this greeting finally make sense 😆
I feel like killing off an unusual excentric demon like solitär was a mistake. She still had charakter potential.
I hope Tot is gonna be interesting because she hinted that she has the same mind set to magic as Frieren.
Well now there’s a chance she’s alive so…
Feel like she was just to set up that there can be a lot of other demons in the shadows that can be interesting in their own
Saint of the end goes hard ngl
thanks for this video, highly appreciate it, hoping we will get more updates in the future esp the surviving sages and the real abilities of the demon king
Thanks for watching 🙌
Macht + solitar vs denken and frieren and friends is peak
There are two kinds of demons: dead and not dead yet.
That’s true for all living things really
My favorite demon is also Macht. He may have failed but at least he really tried.
I think Eisen had a good rematch against Rivale. Remember when Rivale ransacked the warrior village where Stark lives? I'm pretty sure Eisen went there and fought Rivale then took Stark as disciple afterwards.
Oh I didn't finished the part of Rivale lol
I think rivale still live and went unkilled. My prediction is that rivale, and that black skin chic demon will be their opponent next arc. And stark will be the one who finally will avenge their village and surpassing his master
@@aditxd1 don't know if Stark would fight it alone, maybe he will have the help of Kraft.
Solitar is my fav demon with macht as a second.
If grausam is still alive,we probably would see the involvement of edel in some way because she display a rather unusual mastery of mental magic
26:02 Is it just me or Grausam did not really failed in that mission from his statement later.
Qual and Zoltraak is brilliant 👍😊👍😊
What if the 'Bloodstained God of War, Rivale,' is Linie's father. as he can also summon weapons, such as an axe.
I think that's a bit too far fatshed. Linie wasn't really that important as a character and also demons don't give a crap about family.
@@t34rhe could be. They could be similar to elves.
After the recent chapter, I'm not sure Grausamm is truly dead.

I can feel that the hypnosis demon,Tpt and schlacht are gonna be a HUGE influence in the future of the manga/anime. There will be a huge war coming I can feel it already shit maybe even the demon king is alive and just weakend and those demons basically out tricked everyone
Yeah, you covered the topic well.
i expect tot and rivale arc/s to be as good as macht and solitar tbh
I want to know more about hero of the south strongest human in the world
Solitar is peak for me at moment.
20:06 here your new demon waifu
I love that you put Aura in center on thumbnail and making her salience.😂 Well, even she is death and pure evil she is still top 10 popular character.
Top 3. And she’s not pure evil but def sadistic
All right Jesus I’ll watch the anime. It does look really cool now that I’ve seen some of the demons only watched a quarter of the video up to 10 minutes but I’m gonna go watch the anime now and I’ll finish the video later. Peace.
Really good video
so the demon king is luca bright from suikoden 2 haha

I wonder what Tot’s world ending curse is gonna be, will it wipe out all life, will it resurrect all the demons that were killed, or will it turn all humans into demons?
Tot says in the manga that her curse will consume the sun
The hero's party killed grausam in another encounter not when frieren go back to the past. It doesn't make sense if they originally killed grausam with future frieren, because the past frieren wouldn't remember anything about it. And as we know frieren tell fern and stark that the hero's party killed grausam in the chapter long before back to the past arc
grausm might be land

Are you a Suikoden fan? I'm quite sure that picture you have portraying the "demon king" is Luca Blight. haha..
Yup. it's an AI voice ✌️
Aura's hot
RIP random shapeshifting demon kid with revolte. You never really got that praise 😔✊
Lugner reminds me of Prince Zardos from Voltes V
Luca Blight!
1:19 how dare you
19:05 I mean it’s physically impossible it’s like trying to explain color to a blind man some things you can’t understand unless you experience them demons are incapable of feeling most human emotions
Demons are not devoid of emotion, numerous times have they shown them, ofc its dampened but they do display emotions of Rage for instance from episode 10 or sadness at their death, uneasiness with Aura and possibly even disgust
They need a psycotherapist specialized in treating psycopaths (ordinary therapist couldn't because psycopaths are really good at manipulating with words which underminds talk therapy the main way of therapy)
[Studies have found people who are high in psycopathy which are prisoned that are treated have significantly lower reincarceration rates than if they were released without it, more than half of them does not return if compared to a control population, either they understand what not to do or maybe they now have real emphaty]
As they are not born with an innate understanding of morality, we have to give them the knowledge of it, psycopaths can be moral if you give them principals as they follow them better like a synthetic heart lol
"You don't need to know guilt to be moral, follow this guiding principles and stick to the axiom of better coexistence, and you may be good" < for psychos lol
We normal humans are taking compassion for granted, as our brains do morality and reflections passively, damn our subsconscious is really powerful
They have emotions perhaps missing certain emotions it's likely the inactivity or absence of the amygdala(in our reality) but they don't have emphaty, their nature made it so they are not born with it, probably missing those mirroring neurons
However emphaty is just feeling other people's emotions in otherwords resimulation their emotions in our ownselves, it made us feel another's existence
It is found that communities with high levels of emphaty are generally more peaceful, healthy, and welcoming, perhaps even act more in those who suffer.
I wonder why they haven't tried that or maybe they have tried that, fail but still yearn for a heart.
The capability to put a heart in demons,
to reforge a heart from a thousand stars, thats what psycotherapist do lol
Maybe in frieren's universe only the goddess is good enough to do "soul manipulation" of this caliber
Why Aura is so popular if Solitar is better?
Because she was already in the anime I guess?
most people dont know solitar since she’s manga only
She’s hot and people want to be her puppets (I’m people Fr)
When i first see Solitair first thing come to my mind is Shuna fro Tensura

Frieren is like Demon Slayer but German Version😂😂😂
AI voice gen is getting worringly imperceptible from the real thing
Nice AI video and showing whoever is behind it didn't get anything from the story your Qual explanation already shows this.
Frieren was deceiving demons even when she was with the hero's party.
As the saying goes to deceive your enemy you first have to deceive your friends.
She held back when traveling with the hero party, if there was a mage going around actually killing the sages, the demons would have become more careful and her masters, and her masters masters and her own years of work would be for nothing.
She says later on that the only demon that ever could see through her mana was the demon king himself.
I relate much more to the demons than the humans.
So am I to assume you are a psycopathic genocidal maniac running around killing everyone on sight?

I don't know, Aura clearly has emotion 😂
demons are monsters. They definitely have emotions like pride and fear, but they can't grasp other emotion like malice or mercy because they are Predators first and it doesn't help you bunt if you feel mercy
It's more like they have no empathy. Let's just say they're a race of psycopath
We kill all sorts of animals, some of them purely for entertainment. We even use traps and tricks to catch them. How is that any different from what demons do towards humans? We humans see demons as monsters the same way a mouse sees a cat.
