DMD max points: Enemies: N(1200) , D(2200), C(3200), B(4200), A(5200), S(6200), SS(7200), SSS(8200) Red Empusa: N(1700), D(2900), C(4100), B(5300), A(6500), S(7700), SS(8900), SSS(10100) Tentacles: N(6000), D(9000), C(12000), B(15000), A(18000), S(21000), SS(24000), SSS(27000) *Extra helpful info: -Bosses have different points, but none of them has crazy amount of points like the tentacles. I'd say they vary between 9000 and 10000. -As long as you hit the tentacles in their weak spot (red part) you'll get 27000 on SSS, even if you hit it twice to kill it. However, if you hit the needle part you will lose points. 1 hit on the needles costs 428 points. So you end up with 26572, why this specific number? I have no clue -Enemy step has a cool down period. So, if you do it in a steady rhythm you can get your style up faster. -If you hold an enemy with Nero's Buster as a shield you it doesn't count as a hit. However, if enemies attacked that shield of yours and damaged him, it will count as an attack and will scale down your points. The amount of points vary of course. Based on your style rank. -If you hit enemies with Vergil's taunt or Dante's taunt, that amount will also be deducted based on how much HP the enemy loses. I think Dante's rose does only 1HP damage. Vergil's air taunt does more damage but it also increases style faster when it hits. So, you can decide which method you'd like to go with. I think for DMD S ranking, i'd try to hit enemies with Vergil's taunt for faster style build. -If you rely on the dance taunt to raise your style, best way is to find a very tight corner where enemies have a hard time to fit on screen with you at once by fixing the camera in a certain spot an make it as close as possible to your character. Enemies will never attack unless they appear on camera.
Really interesting video! While i'm not a fan of how style points work in this game it was really cool to see how it works in depth, your DMC content is amazing!
Even though I already got the Platinum for this game, I want to thank you for this video. As I said in the other video, the scoring system is really "peculiar", and it's not easy to understand it completely. However, by explaining pretty much everything imaginable, you've done a really fantastic job here! I will be more than happy to share this with anyone who might need a helping hand! ✨️
I'm a bit surprised that with V, you didn't mention that you can spam the finisher button on certain enemies to extend the animation for a bit more stylish points. Granted, it does mean you're more vulnerable for longer, but it's still a boost if you can get away with it.
It's not that much of an increase but yeah, it's alright to use it. Although, i recommend defeating multiple enemies at once and chain finish them all as shown in here. It's much safer and raises the style faster.
I have 26 platinums of many hard games too like sekiro, dark soul 1, sifu 100%, elden ring ( i dont consider this hard its super easy lol) and many more hard games but this game franchise is easily my second favorite and im going for platinum rn and only one trophy is left to get s rank on all mission on all difficulty, i've beat the game more than 15 times including with vergil too but still dante s rank on mission 10 is pain even on devil hunter, i've been struggling for 3 days now, makes me hate dante he suck, how he cant recover from his attacks fast and get hit, can barely stagger enemies, but i do think this platinum will be my hardest rated 10/10 difficulty platinum everywhere and i can understand easily why 🙂

Thank you, I appreciate it!
I wonder what music Vergil likes so he'll stop breaking your CDs after all these years ;-;
His maximum motivation theme i guess. He never tried to break that one since DMC4 🤔
