What many people working and contributing to the state of Florida retirement system for their retirement(teacher, police, firefighters and all other support employees) is that that money taken out of their check every payday for their contribution toward their retirement do not know that that money is not being deposited into the state of Florida retirement System are being but put into General Revenue and thus is why a surplus in General Revenue. This hijacking of your retirement money for the state to have a surplus started under gov. Scott and is still taking place and then they come out and say the retirement fund is going to eventually dry up.

What many people working and contributing to the state of Florida retirement system for their retirement(teacher, police, firefighters and all other support employees) is that that money taken out of their check every payday for their contribution toward their retirement do not know that that money is not being deposited into the state of Florida retirement System are being but put into General Revenue and thus is why a surplus in General Revenue. This hijacking of your retirement money for the state to have a surplus started under gov. Scott and is still taking place and then they come out and say the retirement fund is going to eventually dry up.

@@commonsense6967 no I’m not talking about social security I’m talking a bout the State of Florida retirement pension, yes, it is one of the best pension plans out there but I’m specifically speaking about the forced contributions since gov Scott that those monies collected from the employees covered under the Retirement System paychecks are not being deposited into the Retirement System to be reinvested but the money is going into the States General Revenue fund, thus a surplus of State money and that the money being collected from contributors should be going into their Retirement System instead of the States General Revenue.
