Fantastic video, really breaks it down barney style for those of us that need it. Something that I do for my screws when I take them out is to place them through cardboard. This keeps them organised and lets me label them. Now to take out my cluster and find the loose wire that is giving me a NO BUS warning.
Great helpful video. I am planning to do the same ( Red color ) to my silver 2009 Sahara but I didn't know how to disassemble the Gage panel . It came with gray cloth seat I installed red leather seats , added red dash center panel and painted my steering wheel red. Thanks a lot
Good video I appreciate your time to put the effort into showing all of us how to do it I've recently had the issue with my instrument cluster lighting up like a Christmas tree and my windshield wipers come on and my radio dies come to find out I have bad contacts so I need to take this apart in order to clean them and put it back together so once again thank you
I dont know how many hours it took. I had to let the paint dry etc. I started in the late afternoon and finished and finished it the next day. I would say less than 6 hours.

Absolutely AWESOME.. exactly what I'm gonna to do but in blue.
Thanks man! I was looking for a video just on how to get my gauge cluster out but you gave me ideas lol. Nice job bro!

I have a question as to what bulbs they use behind the face? Are they twist ins?
Did fixing the needle manually turned out ok? Or did it end up in a problem?
Outstanding video. Real helpful, and your work looks great. Nice idea.

definitely doing this in purple 🙈
Working on an LS swap. Is there a way to make it work without a cluster? I want aftermarket gauges
Thanks for the idea!!!! looks great!!!!!
That looks awesome! I have a question though: Why did you hang your pieces in the tree to paint them?
I didn’t have anywhere else to hang them
@@GulfsideMuralsFL - I suppose what I should’ve asked is, “Why did you hang them instead of painting them on the ground?” Lol
@@TheBerkeleyBeauty it’s just easier to get a better finish
Did you happen to note where we would access the bulbs to the cluster? Were they easily accessible with the cluster out? Thanks.
They are leds and are sodered to the board
@28Jcarlo is there any way to change them or u just have replace the whole board?
it looks awesome!
Thank you. I really like the look of it
How did you paint your jeep badge on the steering wheel?
Sorry for the late response. I just used a marker. It faded over time. Don't recommend doing it
I used a paint marker on mine and it turned out pretty good....hasn't really faded yet...if it fades I'll just touch it up
@@GulfsideMuralsFL oh okay thanks I ended up striping the black paint off mine completely so it’s just silver
How long did that take you

ARE YOU THE SAME GUY that is painting in Benton Harbor?
Guilty
I can’t wait to get jeep pix in front of that!!!incredible skill!
