Ole Børud has to be one of the very best musicians to come out of Norway in the last 30 years. Awesome to hear Jay Graydon play on Ole's song, stating the obvious with how strong of an influence Jay Graydon's playing has been on Ole's own guitar phrasing.

Ohhhh, now it makes total sense why this is such a jam! I have never heard this but RUclips played it after I’d played Second Arrangement. Not only does it remind me of Steely Dan, but also of Japanese City Pop. Two of my favorite things coming together!!

I didn’t know of Ole’s music previously but I saw the local studio guys were involved, so I clicked…and was blown away! I need encouragement right now, and this made me smile until my face hurt. Ole, you need a Greatest Hits album out there…Or at least a compilation of favorites to serve as an introduction to those new listeners…I would tell everyone, though, to just buy them all…There are so many killer tracks on each album, never does a release fail to disappoint! From “City Lights” to “Broken People”…”Maybe” to “Good Time” and then, “Step Into My Light” or “Fast Enough”, you continue to put out so many good messages with the music! And of course, as Mother’s Day is coming up, “She’s Like No Other” will be on the playlist! Only one thing, would you get all of your albums back on vinyl, please?
