Tried remote play at home last night and was amazed at how little lag there was, I wasn't even using ethernet cables. Now when my GF insists I come to bed I can keep playing the PS5 lol.

If you take your iPad away from home can you still play games away from your PlayStation? Does your PlayStation need to be on when away from home playing remotely?
@@ziganometry Your PS needs to at least be in rest mode for you to turn it on and use it remotely. I haven't been able to get it to work if I'm not on my home network but I've heard different from other ppl.

It's surprising to see you've no latency on Remote play Gaming. Most of the people are facing Latency even on Ipad pro. Wish someone could make a video on how to fix Latency issues.

I love the remote play feature. It's like having a PlayStation and Xbox switch that requires internet. I really hope Sony and Microsoft really evolve remote play with the 10th generation consoles. Like maybe the dualsense 2 or whatever the ps6 controller is will have a screen for the first time instead of a touchpad and could be used for remote play

So looks like remote play works better on PS5? I wasn't overly impressed with it on PS4 due to lag. I know network is the primary culprit to any lag with this but attempted over multiple different networks.

Tried in my ps4 pro they is delay and it’s the that great. Keep getting connection disconnected. Either that the graphics go from smooth to blurry at times. I was testing it by playing from my bedroom and the ps4 pro was in the living room.
Hopefully it works better with the ps5.

Remote play is a hit or miss for me when use cellular data works mostly with WiFi only I’m on iPhone and TMobile

I think he was referring to the controller being blurred. He said he was watching from behind the camera so we could see the controller but then apologized for the controller being blurry.
Does anyone have any advice? When ever i try to link my ps5 to ps remote play it always gives me the error saying my link code is already in use by another user or its saying that im not connected to the right internet connection. Even though my ipad and ps5 is connected to the same internet and i have all of the correct settings put in. I could really use some help as i have been trying it over 10 times and it still wont link.
When I do is it keeps disconnecting say my connection is bad but I have 5g on my phone for the hotspot
The problem people will run into is Wi-Fi speeds not being fast enough to the PS5 or to the remote device.
I'm at home on my network and have 500mbps down, 20 up.
The audio skips every 2 seconds and the visual do the same and the resolution never improves from 480 or 720p on a Note 22 Ultra.
Is 500mbps not good enough? I want to enjoy remote play but it just hasn't been a good experience.
I’ve never had much luck with remote play previously with psp, ps3, ps4, or vita. Even in my own house right next to the router and ps5 with 100megabit per sec internet and a fast router.
100mbps might be pretty rough for that
It works like shit for me as well and I have 400mbps, Ethernet connected.
@@gerboog that's the download speed. For remote play it's the upload speed that you want to be really good for less lag :) I've had my ps5 connected via ethernet cable aswell and still have not managed to play with out lag to the point where it just ruins the experience so I don't bother

remote play is good,but it only worked for a few hours,after that it keeps loosing connection within few seconds of connecting.Internet on both sides are working fine its just remote play.

It will work prefect sometimes when your internet is really fast and a fast device, outside of those scenarios it will be not be worth it

I’m currently using your exact setup as you (m1 iPad pro with the 16Gb ram) and I played ghost of Tsushima very little lag. I could easily win standoffs no problem what so ever.

Remote play is okay. But if you're playing games where reaction is key (like any of the souls games or sekiro), then it's not a good option. The games tend to run slower but I guess that would help anyone struggling with them. I would probably just use remote play for turn-based RPG's
