I’ve got a new system of composting dialed in I’d love to share with viewers. I have it well documented and agree with Master Cho’s philosophy of sharing information without restriction.

So I am winter mulching with the standing dry grass which I mow in October when the grass starts to grow again after the hot dry summer. [left standing to protect the soil] I am worm composting daily inputs with leaves and wood shavings. I have access to sea water and an abundance of wood stove ashes and char. So I have to come up with a plan when, how, and where to use these things.

I’m saying this out of love to the several people over the course of the last few years that have tried to misinformed me with false information about Matt Powers and his disbelief and KNF I hope they enjoy this video 😂😂 ❤❤

Back in the 1980’s Malcom Beck was spraying his mulch piles with diluted waste syrup from the coke and or Pepsi bottling plants and accelerating mulch decomposition. He was the local pioneer in composting at his creation of Garden-Ville. He personally introduced me to the world of compost and beneficial microbes and mycorrhizal fungi. Showing us how the tree roots worked with the fungi!

Totally going to put an imo on top of plants, or fishing plants into the box for endophites catching! I've never heard this technique ! My head is spinning, and molasses spiking compost ... Ahh so interesting thanks for this clip . 2 thumbs up on the from the hip thought sharing .

Molasses is pretty safe in my opinion. I’ve used it on many applications like compost accelerator and I had a fire pit that wouldn’t grow anything until I started feeding molasses. Maybe 2 months of spraying twice a week and that gave biology a chance to prepare the way! It totally works on dead soils and I’ve used on plants that were stressed.

Sugar is used instead because molasses has added moisture

Soooo could i prune off some aerial roots off of some sorghum and put them in uncooked rice to harvest some nitrogen fixing bacteria or in the air or put the rice around some of the stalks still in ground ?

When I build my Johnson su piles I add fish hydrolysate ,wood vinegar bokashi leachate liquid kelp I mix them in a watering can and water in every layer I’ve noticed rapid break down i also water in fish hydrolysate ever month to keep the biology going in one year the compost is broken down to a rich black clay like compost

how do you know you keep the biology going durng the process and that the compost is biologically rich after one year? Do you check with a microscope?

Hi Matt, all your research on KNF and all the work on living soil regeneration is really exciting. However, although you address anaerobic processes, such as bokashi, lab's, ... which are lactofermentation oriented, it seems to me that you are not talking about JADAM. is there a reason and what do you think of this technique?
