Hi Matt,
That was brilliant. I especially loved the bit about the dairy farmer, whose cows are eating nutrient dense food and are resting and not looking for the junk. The same will be true for we humans as well, if we can get nutrient rich foods, rather than the junk from chemical farms, and the highly processed foods from the multinational food companies, we too will be far better off, and not need as many doctors's visits and pharmaceuticals.
Those IMO's seem like amazing things. It was interesting to hear I think it was you and not Chris, talking about Spirulina.

Always a pleasure to hear from Chris Trump and find out about his latest adventures. Ireland certainly has unique growing conditions and they are definitely not used to experiencing drought, much like where I am right now is not used to flooding, or the cold wet winters! I love his ultimate goal of establishing farmer led native teaching without reliance on tech. As much as I love my microscope, the price of equipment like this, makes it not viable for most of the worlds population, maybe I'll end up being one of the nerdy folks in a rusty tin shed with my lab coat on, looking at microbes, in some far flung corner of the world, in the future! Our favorite family activities is still the off-roading to collect IMO's in the woods and we have Chris to thank for that! lol Keep up the great work you two! Those of us that follow you and are in your circles, know how valuable your work is and what it will ultimately do, to help the world through difficult times in the very near future.

Thank you Cris and Matt, so informative. Goal: The promotion and facilitation of the massive amounts of missing physical components farm soils require. For sale or, ideally, donation directly to local farmers. Biodiverse Composts and red worms. I can not do it alone. Does anyone have Ideas to further this goal? Or wish to some spend time in it’s cause?

I've got a plant in a bottle, that seems like it has a relationship with algae, like spirulina. It has been surviving on just water for years, you can see the roots and algae symin.
I'd love to see an episode/research on Duckweed. It's easy to grow in hot Texas with water and sunlight. I tried feeding it to chickens (no luck. Variety issue?). I read it is 30% protein. I've seen very little research/use of Duckweed.
I've seen this guy has a setup with duckweed for chickens, hope it helps! I've also been looking into it

What does IMO stand for?
Indigenous Mico Organisms. Or using cooked rice set out in your area to capture your local soil biology from the woods or land near you. You then grow that culture to use to stimulate soil biology in your garden or fields and heal the soil to gain fertility.
