Bossfight is definitely one of my all time favorites. However what I find weird is when listening to a new song I don't actually particularly like it but it grows on me so hard to the point where I play it on repeat for a while. I'm thinking it speaks to the complexities of the different beats and whatnot but I don't do that or feel that way about any other artists. Keep it up Bossfight.
Absolutely stellar EP from Bossfight, every track here stands out in its own way and the sheer variety of genres and styles present really adds so much replayability to an already-replayable project. Fake is currently my favorite, that Hard Dance/Hardstyle/Rawstyle/Reverse Bass sound is so rare on Monstercat nowadays and it’s so awesome to hear it done SO well! I know it’s not for everyone but it’s definitely for me haha hoping Bossfight explores more of that realm in the future, it’s a very exciting genre and set of subgenres that’s worth more of a deep dive for sure
Bossfight's midsection bits in Endgame and Fake is so bittersweet for me. They are intense and blood rushing but it only makes me wish that Bossfight puts in a larger arsenal of guitars in his tracks because it nearly sounds the same apart from the drums and sustains. Like add an air guitar or something, that would be fucking sick.
Going into this, the original tracks for me are 9s and 10s so I knew this EP would be one of the best. Toxic and On U are great additions, and Fake is an interesting hard dance track lol but I respect it. Great seeing you review an Uncaged EP here!
strange imo that Endgame and The Pit released before Shadow, but Shadow didn’t get featured makes sense though because Shadow has a different ‘vibe’ to the rest of the EP as a whole…. i could say the same about On U too but it’s still a really good EP. This may have not beat Next Wave as my favorite EP on MC but it’s still my favorite of the year, beating Space Boy, which came out exactly three months ago
Really solid EP! Grit and Warp were definitely the stand outs for me. I’m such a sucker for those rolling vocal chops throughout the drops. Endgame and The Pit follow after that. On U was a really great chill garage track which I was super into, but among the other songs, falls right in the middle. Then Toxic and Fake I really wasn’t super into, but there were at least aspects I liked. I’m in the same boat of really not enjoying hard dance, but I liked that he at least switched it up enough to be somewhat enjoyable. Not gonna lie, I can feel a little bit of Bossfight fatigue coming on, but I’m still not completely burnt out. I’m interested to see if/how he switches up his style more in the future.

Really enjoyed that side of Bossfight, and would love to hear more like it in the future. Even though Endgame is my least favourite of the bunch it's still a really fun track, just less so than the rest.
Well, I do like the EP overall, but a few of the songs fail for me. The drops in Grit & Warp aren't very distinct; sound a little cluttered with the vocal samples playing over & such, makes it difficult for me to vibe to them. If the basses in said tracks were more prominent like Endgame & The Pit, then they would've been perfect.
