@UCHiCoIHuDNUaByvxIfDXxwA yeahive definitely given people rides who I would never trust with my car keys. How the valet thought just because they rode together it was okay is pretty baffling. If it was the guys wife or something it might be more understandable but that's about it.
Gift certificates are a backhanded way of trying to make up for the inconvenience of a pretty glaring mistake.
That's why you dont give anyone your keys, you bought, you should be the one that's handles it. This video is a prime example of that

@@patrickm5217 Because, she's barely legal and at an impressionable age, as such tied to her parents for judgement calls. This guy had Marijuana delivered in the mail, he didn't want her to get off on the wrong foot, he felt responsible, which is why he mentioned it.

Because when you hyperextend a door, it’s not just the door getting damaged, but also the pillar it’s attached to. Mess up the A Pillar (front door), it’s possible that the outer skin and inner structure were damaged. To replace those parts, welding is required, which means the dashboard likely needs to be removed. By time all the time to R&I is included, it gets costly quick.

Great story Alex. Was in downtown Greenville last weekend and saw a valet that confused reverse for 1st gear apparently in a late model Porsche and drove up on the curb and inches from a light pole. The food is good at Rick Irwin's but the valets......... I'll just park on the street myself . lol

I've worked valet for over 6 years and I do love hearing these stories but as you know people think valet are the worst people in the world.
I will never do valet again. Worked as a valet attendant and customers treat you like shit. Greedy ass people

I really like this man's approach to customer service in instances where customers vehicles sustain damage at the hands of his staff.
His personable, professional approach extends the message that his company respects the customer and wants them to feel that they've been treated correctly following an unfortunate incident.
Such an approach goes well with his clients, be they venues, restaurants or clubs.

Ziouls regardless if it’s fixed. An accident on the carfax or in general depreciates the value of the car over one without any accidents.
Why would you call in a minor accident to insurance to begin with? 😂 think you'll get a few extra bucks for the time being? and then rack up your insurance payments over charging you as a high risk customer. The valet would of already told the people they will fix everything before they could even make a call to insurance. Never put a claim on your insurance if its fixable. Unless you really want a minor accident to be on carfax while boosting your payments. Car insurance is a joke.

I have really enjoyed all of Alex’s videos. I think it speaks a lot about his character that he’s willing to go on the internet, the Wild West that is RUclips no less, and own up to his company’s mistakes. He’s setting a good example for his employees.

Funnily enough I thought about this guy only last week due to my dads valet story. About 10 days ago my dad was in Birmingham Alabama on his last day of his business trip (works in London but does alot of work in the USA). The hotel was Valet only and asks for his rental car to be delivered. Turns out theyve lost the car and are unable to locate it. My dads freaking out - he has meetings in Atlanta in 3 hours and his car isnt there. It takes 4 hours for the hotel and valet company to provide him with another vehichle and by that time hes missed all his meetings which luckily a colleague covered for him. At least he made the flight the same evening to get back to London as BA only have 1 flight a day to Atlanta. The car later gets handed in to Birminghams National as a return by a different person, not realising the car handed to him was different, my dad got something a little better than the Versa he was originally given and did get some compensation for the disruption. It was funny just having this happen last week and then a new valet fails gets uploaded! Just thought the coincidence was rather hilarious!
I love this guy’s overall demeanor in every video. Chill, but professional. Sarcastic, but accurate. If his employee ran over your dog, he would find an exact replica of this dog, put a ruby collar on, then give you a gift card for free doggie washes for a year…and tell you to have a nice day.

Man, at first I was like, what kind of employees do you guys have crashing cars when the owner tells you to be careful. But you guys are seriously a rolemodel for companies,not just valet but in general. Who says ethics and capitalism/business dont mix. They mix better than vice versa, your attitude going a few steps further for people to please them and fix problems has obviously lend itself to gaining you new clients and a great renome. Awesome job you guys, I wish more business were like that, it would make the business world much more pleasant and trustworthy.
