I bought both. Trust me, Soundcore 4 is way better for the price and technology. It captures more instruments being used in every song than AirPods and I like Apple a lot. Soundcore Liberty 4 is very clear and has no static at higher volume. Average noise cancelling. The bass from the Sound Core is amazing. Extremely impressed. Especially when you EQ tune to R&B, the sound is extremely impressive. The AirPods has the cool factor but the sound quality is average. Good noise cancelling. It does not capture all the instruments and sound a little blended together. It has light static and higher volumes. Plus, it has average bass. I was disappointed by the brand and price when I played music. Biggest pro AirPods have is that it can get really loud. Overall, for the price and quality. Sound Core Liberty 4 is way better. You will not be disappointed. You’ll be extremely impressed.
Great comparison. I mean it. Unlike most comparison reviews, you gave the viewer a chance to hear the music audio portion and noise transparency. This definitely makes me think twice about getting the Liberty 4's. I have the Liberty 3 Pros and was considering the Airpods Pro 2. 👍
I just ordered the 4s last night hopefully they're are good. They are replacing a pair of powerbeats pro. The beats' quality sucks. Went to bed night before last with working beats. I got up yesterday morning to go to work, and the left bud will not connect or charge, and none of the fixes I can find fix it. Apparently one ear bud stopping working is a common problem with the powerbeats pro
you are comparing liberty 4s costing 100 USD vs airpods 2 costing over 200 USD. IMO nothing beats the liberty ear buds and I'm not willing to pay over 100 usd more for the tiny bit better things the airpods do.
About sound: everyone’s ear canals are shaped differently and hearing sensitivity across 20 Hz - 20 kHz is also different. Hence the idea of Hear ID, or custom EQ if you have good measurement device to ensure what it measures match what your ears hear so that you could visually tune it to your target curve. For average people Hear ID is a great way to customise your sound with ease. My Hear ID for Liberty 4 for example is quite different to Aaron’s. While his is a V shape and presumably used in this test video, mine is a flat line with only 1db bump between 400-1k hz. To my ears, this sounds “fuller” than the Soundcore signature sound that Arron says it’s about the same as his taste, and Arron presumably presents here. My EQ setting for Space Q45 ( yes I bought that too after watching many reviews) tuned down both treble, boosted up mids and a little bit bass. What I also found is that in soundcore app, preset EQ setting of same names ( pop, acoustic, flat, etc) for liberty 4 and for Q45 are actually set differently and attuned to the specific headphone model. Kudos to that.
Thanks Aaron, typical Soundcore default V shape. From my experience with Liberty 3 Pro, Q35 and others, the App EQ is very effective at reshaping however you like. I'd discourage anyone from putting too much weight on sound samples for actual in person quality and capability. Especially for products with great App support for sound. They are useful only for general comparison of _default_ sound signatures.
@@ejrisweiredYeah idk what home boy was thinking, only excuse I can come up with is that maybe he doesn’t own an IPhone. Otherwise he’s just smoking crack or he’s on gas (meth)!! The price for the Liberty 4's makes ANY of the differences, worth it to me. Just picked up a pair, and they blow my Sony WF-1000XM4's out of the water! And those are near $300!! vs. 1/2 that price for the Soundcore's...

Hello, can you rank which one is better based on sound quality, active noise cancellation and microphone quality? Nothing ear 2, nothing ear(2024) soundcore liberty 4
I have the Lypertek Tevi, but the battery has gone rubbish after like 5 years. Started looking for new TWS buds, was going to get the newer Lyperteks but started doing some research. So many options, I fell into the rabbit hole of what's "best" and got really annoyed, so I said f it and ended up getting the Liberty 4 NC. They're trash. Shoulda just went for the new Lyperteks. I know the Liberty 4s are different to the Liberty 4 NC, but not impressed by the fact that 5 years newer buds sound worse.
Hello. I look forward to your reviews. Please let me know , if I use these Soundcore Liberty 4 headphones with Noise Canceling turned off. Question: does ambient noise canceling , work in phone calls?
great channel , I do really like the way you compare headsets. Have you thought to test Technics AZ60? In my opinion underrated competitor for Sony and perhaps Airpods Pro (2)
Great review: very professional and analytical. Have you checked the multipoint feature? Is quick and smooth the automatic switch between two devices? Ad example multipoint switch works very well on Xiaomi Redmi Buds 4 Pro, not that well on OPPO EncoX2 (still great earbuds). Please advise
I would greatly appreciate a response to this quick question :) What headphones, aside the airpod pro 2's, would be the best Qtip stype TWS? And how close are they (better/worse) than the Airpod Pro 2's?? Thank you and love your videos!!! (mostly weighing on Audio Quality and battery life)
Were both buds connected to the iphone? I know that Samsung buds sounds better with a Samsung phone. Wondering if you did the tests with Android, will there be any difference.
Great comparison! I have now Soundcore Liberty Air2 and only annoying thing is, they are not holding good in my ear. Especially while eating or lying in the bed. Do you know if Liberty 4 are more stable? Thanks
can you do a vomparison vdo between liberty 4 vs JBL live pro 2 vs technics Az60. More focus on multipoint features and if anyof them allow full mono control
Thanks for the comparison Aaron ! I've been eyeing the Liberty 4s since they were announced and was waiting for your ANC tests which are always very useful One question, how do they compare to the Airpods Pro in terms of comfort and fit ?
funny.... on my Airpod Pro Gen 1, Spatial audio work in non apple apps like RUclips and Sportify. You just need change the Audio setting from the control center after your AirPod pro is connected
Hey Aaron What do you think about the battle of EarFun Air Pro 3 vs Xiaomi Redmi Buds 4 pro?, for a hybrid user who uses MAC and Chrome systems who is avoiding paying the overpriced Airpods
I have one doubt soundcore r50i vs soundcore life p2i are the cheapest TWS. Which one to buy. And also fascinated with Liberty4. Currently a realme buds air2 user. But after a year, battery has draining from left side very fast. So just confused about durability of these 3.
I know this a very late comment. I own AirPods Pro but I am after a pair of Spatial Audio (SA) earbuds that I will use exclusively with my Apple TV. Can you confirm SA works with tvOS and all of Apple’s SA content - do you turn it on the same way you would with AirPods in control centre? I have B&O headphones with Dolby Atmos and they’re useless with iOS and tvOS, with no clear way to activate the feature. Thanks for the video.
Hi! I'm new to tws. If you put the earphone on its case. Does it charge? If yes, how about if its already fully charge? Does it disconnect automatically? Thank you.
But if you use them with multiple devices (some of which you can't alter the eq) the sound will change. I prefer the Airpods as the sound is always the same.
I have watched countless videos lately about earbuds and nobody ever seems to talk about the voice assistant feature. Using Alexa or Google or Siri or whatever. Why did you not mention this feature? I would like to know more about how to use it and how well it works.
Exactly. If your an iPhone user Air Pod pro 2 is the way. Best for iPhone 👍🏾,but is it the best no. Hence why I have more than one pair of buds from different brands.
2:10 lol that’s very interesting. I am used to subpar bluetooth headphones from shopee. When I did the HearID, the curve and sound are completely different. I love a heavy bass and low treble. I’ve also set my Spotify equalizer as such. I suppose the default settings are the ideal, but doesn’t sound right to me. I need beefy bass.
I wonder at what volume level you talks when testing the mic. I use airpods pro 1 and my counter part always have a hard time to hear me when I’m outdoor with a lot of noise. Do i have to yell?
I think so, you can make nice eq adjustments in the soundcore app. I have the Liberty 3 pro and i prefer the sound stage / stronger sound much more over the AirPods Pro 2
That´s a good questions, hearing them side by side I think Airpods has more voice clarity and a deeper bass. Not sure if its 'reachable' just with the EQ app
Just because the Airpods Pro don't have an equalizer, doesn't mean you have to do the comparison with the Soundcore without using the Soundcore equalizer. And at the microphone level in phone calls, the Soundcores are better in the 2 cases presented in this test. On the other hand, multipoint is really good, but today all non-Airpods earbuds should have Google Fast Pair, and above all ADAPTIVE APTX, LDAC is all well and good, but not really the ideal codec for Android and Windows.
Re-viewed this having had the Airpods Pro 2 for 2 months now. Frankly, every single bud I bought over the years has sat in the draw - the APP2 kill them all on all fronts, the transparency is far and away best ever 😊
@@bogdanpolitaiev6519 Not sure i agree really. If others were 90% I'd be using them. Reality is that the APP2 do everything well, while others have strong/weak points. The only weak point of the APP2 for me is no XL tip, quickly solved with $3 third party - and I have supersize ears, so i expect that.
You don't like Bose or why didn't you review the new Bose QC Earbuds II? Otherwise, you wouldn't call AirPods Pro 2 the King. The new Bose QC Earbuds II are in a world of their own in terms of ANC. They even beat any over-ear headphone like the state-of-the-art Bose QC45 or Sony XM4.

What you don't like about them?
Thank you for this video 😊but Which one is better for music ( Liberty 4 or Liberty 4 nc ) ?
Thanks for the video Aaron. You should have a lookat the oppo enco x2. Dhrme made a video on it
Enco x2 finally getting love I saw jeffes top buds and they are at top. I tried them and they are fantastic
I'm requesting you to do best Dolby Atmos effect headphones and earphone review 🙏
Hi Aaron, great video! Don’t the Airpods Pro 2 have spatialize stereo which should work with any music app too?
I would greatly appreciate a response to this quick question :) What headphones, aside the airpod pro 2's, would be the best Qtip stype TWS? And how close are they (better/worse) than the Airpod Pro 2's?? Thank you and love your videos!!! (mostly weighing on Audio Quality and battery life)
Another great video. Only commenting for the algor! Thanks for your work.
ANKER liberty 4 nc vs Jabra elite 4 active
Which one gives more detailed instrument information, which sound do you like more?
I should want to Buy Liberty 4
Can you suggest me these
I hear about Liberty 4 sound is Garbage.
How i Tune this.
Plz clear to me
Excellent review! Thanks
I just got pro 2s and am thinking about getting these, should i?
hi Aaron, so liberty 4 vs 4 NC, which one you choose
which one is the best Liberty 4 or 4NC
Another thorough review Aaron, thank you 👍Soundcore are pretty good at this headphone lark!
Thank you! They have been upping their game, just a few loose ends left to tie
Hello,I want to switch my galaxy buds 2 pro due to better call quality and bassy sound. Would you recommend this ones or maybe linkbuds s?
How is Liberty 4 in camper with Edifier buds 2 Pro? Who is better in sound?
Thank you in advance.
Great Job 👍🏾
Thanks for the comparison Aaron ! I've been eyeing the Liberty 4s since they were announced and was waiting for your ANC tests which are always very useful
One question, how do they compare to the Airpods Pro in terms of comfort and fit ?
The AirPods Pro is a lighter fit, less snug imo. They're not very different in terms of comfort. Thanks for watching!
Libert 4 call quality in both cond was way better than AirPods. Sound way better too than AirPods
Why are you saying AirPods Pro 2 are the king? I think that’s for apple devices cuz there’s a lot of earbuds that sound better example Sony
I want to get airpod pro 2
Should I get it or not
I don't care of spatial audio
funny.... on my Airpod Pro Gen 1, Spatial audio work in non apple apps like RUclips and Sportify. You just need change the Audio setting from the control center after your AirPod pro is connected
Which one is louder?
Aaron, how about Soundcore Liberty 4 VS Jabra 75t? I would appreciate your opinion!! 🙂
Hey Aaron What do you think about the battle of EarFun Air Pro 3 vs Xiaomi Redmi Buds 4 pro?, for a hybrid user who uses MAC and Chrome systems who is avoiding paying the overpriced Airpods
Aaron maybe include the just-released 1More Aero which look like a Soundcore 4 competitor
good work man
Thanks!
Very nice review. How are you able to measure the frequency response of the earbuds?
I have a measuring rig that I use with REW
@@aaronloudnwireless OK. I have REW for my stereo rig. I will try to use that. Thanks 👍
I have one doubt soundcore r50i vs soundcore life p2i are the cheapest TWS. Which one to buy. And also fascinated with Liberty4. Currently a realme buds air2 user. But after a year, battery has draining from left side very fast. So just confused about durability of these 3.
Whatever song I listen to I am not happy with the bass level of airpods pro 2. What should I do?
Thanks for the video amazing 👏
Please compare the Airpods Gen 2 with Sennheiser 🙏🏻
Thank you.
Nicely done bro
After EQ in the app, liberty 4 easily sound better
What’s your eq settings please? Trying to dial mine in
But if you use them with multiple devices (some of which you can't alter the eq) the sound will change. I prefer the Airpods as the sound is always the same.
I think my eq settings is the best so far after trying reviewer set eq
I have watched countless videos lately about earbuds and nobody ever seems to talk about the voice assistant feature. Using Alexa or Google or Siri or whatever. Why did you not mention this feature? I would like to know more about how to use it and how well it works.
Exactly. If your an iPhone user Air Pod pro 2 is the way. Best for iPhone 👍🏾,but is it the best no. Hence why I have more than one pair of buds from different brands.
Great video, thank you.
nice review
2:10 lol that’s very interesting. I am used to subpar bluetooth headphones from shopee. When I did the HearID, the curve and sound are completely different. I love a heavy bass and low treble. I’ve also set my Spotify equalizer as such. I suppose the default settings are the ideal, but doesn’t sound right to me. I need beefy bass.
I wonder at what volume level you talks when testing the mic. I use airpods pro 1 and my counter part always have a hard time to hear me when I’m outdoor with a lot of noise. Do i have to yell?
Are the earbud tips the same size ?
Do you think with the correct EQ settings we could turn the Soundcore Liberty 4 to sound similar to the AirPods Pro 2 in the midrange?
I think so, you can make nice eq adjustments in the soundcore app. I have the Liberty 3 pro and i prefer the sound stage / stronger sound much more over the AirPods Pro 2
That´s a good questions, hearing them side by side I think Airpods has more voice clarity and a deeper bass.
Not sure if its 'reachable' just with the EQ app
How ?
Based on this video's sound sample, the Soundcores have deeper bass, but the Airpods have the better soundstage.
Then the airpods might sound worse compared to the Soundcore!
And they already lost the mic test
😜
does the Liberty 4 also work with the hearing/live listen feature on iPhone and iPad devices?
SL4 win hands down in noise cancellation, call quality and sound quality. Dont try to paper over that, please!
Re-viewed this having had the Airpods Pro 2 for 2 months now. Frankly, every single bud I bought over the years has sat in the draw - the APP2 kill them all on all fronts, the transparency is far and away best ever 😊
Considering AAP2 is 2 times more expensive - no surprise at all. Other buds are much better value though, you get 90% of APP2 for 50% of the price.
You did not do passive noise cancellation for the AirPods
You don't like Bose or why didn't you review the new Bose QC Earbuds II? Otherwise, you wouldn't call AirPods Pro 2 the King. The new Bose QC Earbuds II are in a world of their own in terms of ANC. They even beat any over-ear headphone like the state-of-the-art Bose QC45 or Sony XM4.
