The “D4” Audi A8 was produced from 2009 to 2017 as the German carmaker’s flagship sedan. It was offered with V6, V8, and W12 engines in North America, while the L model featured a 5.1-inch longer wheelbase than the standard A8. Fitted with the 3.0-liter TDI V6, the A8 L TDI is capable of 0-60 mph in 6.4 seconds while returning a combined 28 mpg.
In addition, the A8 L TDI can offer more than 800 miles of range on a full tank. Power comes from a 3.0-liter turbodiesel “TDI” V6, rated at 240 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission and Audi’s permanent “Quattro” all-wheel drive.

It's extremely rare to find one a TDI in North America, especially in Canada, as of now it's only one for sale in whole Canada..., similar price, but more than double the mileage...

Gotta love a luxury diesel... we are making a mistake doing away with diesels

I agree! We also wish we could have the new German diesel vehicles here. My wife’s vehicle is a diesel 2014 Porsche Cayenne.

These are cheap in the UK too.
Defo good value if you want a big luxury car.
I can get one of these for cheaper than a similar age Nissan leaf that will only do about 50 miles to a charge lol

I wish we could get them cheap here! I hate that we can’t get newer German diesels in the States. I feel like that would definitely lower the prices on these older ones. 🥲

@@TheDealershipLife luxury cars arent that popular in the UK due to fuel costs and the size if our roads so older ones arent an attractive proposition for lower earners living on small streets etc.

@@SourceHades yep, I would imagine stripping it for parts would be best option if anything serious goes wrong.
I remember having to think seriously about putting an exhaust on a golf TDI in the past because exhaust was 85% of the cars book price lol.
