🚄 INFORMATION KEY
Train Numbers - e.g. 43032 or 800110 - These are train numbers which are specific to that train. No trains can be numbered the same. Locos are 5 digit numbers where the first two numbers are the class of train e.g. 67010 would be a class 67. Multiple Units are 6 digit numbers where the first three numbers are the class of train e.g. 390154 would be a class 390. Click Here to learn more

Headcodes - e.g. 1F32 or 5M00 - These are used by the railway signallers to determine where trains are on the network. Every train within a region has a specific four code ID. Click Here to learn more
➤ en.wikipedia.o...
Set Number - e.g. WB64 or NL04 - These are semi-permanent loco hauled coach formations which are kept together for formalities. The first two letters usually indicate the maintenance depot responsible e.g. OC is Old Oak Common, LA is Laira. The number indicates the rake number.
🚄 ABOUT ME
Hello everyone, I’m StarlifeStudios and my passion is to experience and video railway stations across the United Kingdom at both small and large locations, but, with an informative twist! My videos are also designed as a historical reference for the days of the past and to reminisce about the way things were. Join me as I continue to travel and be sure to let me know if you’d like me to video at your favourite or local station.
This guys vids are what make my week ❤
I can’t thank you enough for your support. I’m so glad you enjoy them 😊
@Ispotthingssometimes 💯% 😃
@ it’s a joy and a honour to watch your videos
Another extremely well-made video as always thanks for the content 👏👏
Hello starlife it's me again great vid keep it
Thank you kindly 🙂⭐️
It's nice to see the class 185s and 195s in service 🚅🚅😁
My local!
Nice video again Ross!
nice video
Interesting Video lenght. I would like to see more HSTs.
Plenty of 4s! Interestingly, the actual video is 44:43 but RUclips added a second to it. HSTs are pretty difficult to find in large amounts now but I can reveal that I will visit both Penzance and Scotland this year so much more HSTs are coming as well as some on test trains too. Thank you 😊
Once again a great video!
Love the class 37
Good video
@@Ovalo-Railways Thanks! 😃
Love the roofs of York, might inspire some roblox-based train games like SCR (Stepford County Railway) or BR. (British Railway)
Beautiful trains and video
York is such amazing city, with its historical wall that goes around the city and its incredible rail museum. Beautiful place to visit. Thank you Ross ❤
York station. 1 of my favourite locations. Been there twice & I will be going back again. I will be staying for a week. Thank you.
Banging 👍
Excellent video Ross!! A great mix of trains there at York and a great mix of freight as well! The 37 RHTT obviously a highlight as well as the 60 which opened up nicely as she went passed! Great way to finish the video on a 91 as well
Watched your videos for about 2 years now love the content 😁. Love that 60 and that 37 🔥
Thank you so much! The content has got better (in my opinion) in the last few years since I’ve started to focus more on keeping the videos entertaining and less so on just pumping out videos. I came here mainly to see the 37s but it was a bit of shame they didn’t put on more of a show! Thanks again 🙂
Hi, I'm going to London in may and I was wondering what stations I should make videos at, could you please give some recommendations, thanks
Thanks for the donation Gray Leaf! What days are you thinking of? Weekdays or Weekends? I really like Denmark Hill, Clapham Junction and New Cross. ⭐️
@@StarlifeStudiosprobably a weekday, Tuesday or Wednesday
I would also definitely consider Kensington Olympia if freight is your thing. I can give you a much better idea about 3 weeks before. Denmark Hill is great for freight too and you’ll also likely get some DC Rail 60s. As I found in a recent video, Vauxhall is pretty great for all round action and unit variety too.
@@StarlifeStudios ok, thanks, I prefer Freight over passenger and I'll also let you know 3 wks before
@@StarlifeStudios I'm going on a weekday
Great video! You never fail to impress.
Thanks for your kind comments. Your awesome 🙂
Yet another amazing upload and a great catch of 37s! Well done 👍
Great video!
Last was at York back in the late 90s. We went on a day trip to Scarborough. Going there was my one and thankfully only ever trip on a pacer. Thankfully it was a class 158 for the return journey. If I ever visited York again, two places I'd make sure to visit are the National Railway Museum and the Jorvik Viking Centre.
very nice video😊😊😊
Nice video Ross. Not a great amount of loco action but what you did see was great 👌🏻
Love the curved train shed
Have you considered train spotting in Wokingham or along the north downs line
The North Downs Line does not have much variety as you only get 450s and 165s
@ true think I say it more for a nostalgic sense as I grew up in Wokingham for as a kid and woukd get the gwr to Gatwick when going to see my grandparents in Italy
can you please do london king cross
London Kings Cross will be visited in 2025. Thanks for the suggestion! 😃
Good video
